Hello FME Community, Salesforce recently announced the retirement of their SOAP API login().  Are there plans to replace the current Salesforce readers and writers or update them to support Salesforce’s OAuth 2.0 Flow?  Currently the readers and writers use /services/Soap/u/51.0 which will be retired in the Summer 27 release.  I’ve used these a good bit in production workspaces, so need to start mapping out some transition plans.  For retrieving data, the SalesforceConnector will work, but it’s nice to be able to write and update data with a drop in transformer rather than setting up HTTP

Hello,I’m using FME 2024.2 to read ORD DGN files stored in ProjectWise.The DGN files have a local coordinate system (LCC) defined in ORD, but when I read them into FME, the detected GCS appears incorrect — particularly the ORG_LAT value. Because of that, when I try to set the coordinate system and reproject to State Plane, the transformation doesn’t work properly.Has anyone encountered this issue before?Does the GCS definition in ORD need to follow a specific format or standard to be recognized correctly by FME?Any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!GCS shown for features in FME

I have been using FME Workbench 2022.2 and just now upgraded to FME Workbench 2025.1.  What I have noticed is:In 2022.2 → Generate Workspace → Convert multiple files in any format into ESRI Shape format. I’m looking to read in a load of word documents that contain tables of information. I’d like to extract all the text from those tables so that I can then search the text for specific information. I’ve tried using the Microsoft Word Reader and the MSWordStyler but I’m only seeing the paragraph text come through to the attributes. Any ideas how to extract the table text?

I am trying to write some CAD data to an ArcGIS Enterprise Feature Service.I noticed there has been an update in the latest version but unfortunately we are using 2025.0 at present and wanted to see if there is a work-around to an issue related to true-curves. I am getting the following error message: ArcGISFeatureServiceWriter: Feature type 'Levels' has 'Use True Curves' enabled, but the feature service does not support true curvesPython Exception <FormatException>: FMEException: 1: ARCGISFEATURESERVICE: Feature type 'Levels' has 'Use True Curves' enabled, but the feature service does not support true curvesSAFE.ESRI-AGOL.ARCGISFEATURESERVICE writer: An error has occurred. In the 2025 documentation (https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME-Flow/WebUI/Version-Control.htm) this note has been added “FME Flow currently supports only GitHub as a Git repository.”. Just wondering what kinds of workflows do you all use to try to reproduce an issue in a workspace which was run on FME Server.I have some workspaces which have quite a few parameters and copy and pasting the parameters from FME Flow to FME Form is getting pretty old…Any clever workflows people have developed to set parameters automatically from a job?I’m thinking of putting together a tool/workspace to try auto populate parameters from a job but I wanted to see if I was just being dumb.I’ve been using presets to save time for a lot of the parameters which tend to stay the same, however, it I’m not careful I end up missing something and speeding time wondering what my results in Desktop and Server are different because I missed something small in the parameters

So I’ve been experimenting with using FME to build specific AI agents/agentic workflows.I’m using OpenAI’s API and leveraging function calling. It’s been quite fun and a really good learning experience. You can let the agent make decisions - if you give it tools to use then you can use looping transformers to let it use the various tools you give it, constantly updating it’s context. Looping transformers are a bit of a paint to work with and hopefully there could be something done in this space to make building these tools in FME easier. I’m still not sure what the best way to do this is or even if it makes any sense to use FME for this but I made some progress anyway:for example: should the tools be other CustomTransfomers for example or whole workspaces or maybe both. Hello everyoneFollowing this article I created (with the help of our IT folks) a OneDrive (Graph) web service with custom client and tenant ID values, and on using the Test feature I can successfully bring up the sign-in dialog, but my connection is repeatedly sent back for admin approval, even though I’m configured as an admin for the app, and the 365 admins approved my login.  On returning to the app I get this:A bit of web research leads me Microsoft’s troubleshooting topics, but I don’t know my way around.  Our 365 environment is pretty locked down, but IT say I should be good for the app.

Hi Everyone, Looking for some assistance, I’m using FME 2023.1.0.0 trying to migrate some existing Survey-123 forms and data with attachments from ArcGIS On-Line to our new Enterprise portal.Our survey-123 form has a singular photos field for tracking a picture of the bus stop, it also has a repeatable photo’s field (table) where the inspector is able to take and attach multiple deficiency photos to the stop if one exists.  In FME, I’m able to read in the AGOL feature service that hosts all of the survey information, I’m also able to write out the tabular information from the point layer to the new Enterprise feature layer that was created when I saved the Survey-123 form in Enterprise.The part that I’m currently struggling with is getting the singular photos to attach when writing the tabular information out to the Enterprise feature service so when I view the points in ArcGIS Pro, they appear in the attachments tab of the attributes editor like they currently

I need to send three files to an API. When I do it directly via the API, I have no issues—the files are sent and I receive status code 200. However, when I try to send them through FME, I can’t get it to work. Am I making some configuration mistake in FME?

I have a set of feature classes inside a File Geodatabase, which I read using the "Single Merged Feature Type" option in FME. After reading, I perform some analysis on the data.At the end of my workflow, I want to write the results to a new File Geodatabase. Please be careful when using web connections:I think for most users this is probably a given, however, I’ve just seen something used practice which I thought was a little risky.When using web connections in FME, FME is not checking the hostname when making the request to an end point. This is true at least for some types of FME Server web connections but I assume it’s also true for others. If you have defined a service which uses a web connection you should only use that web connection when you actually need it. For example if you are dynamically requesting a list of URLs and only one of them requires authentication do not use the web connection for every request - especially if it’s to a different host. You will be sending the token or (in the case of basic HTTP Authentication) the username and password to those other servers. If you are not even checking the list of URLs then of course you could be making requests and sending out you
