Hello all, I have a FME flow web-app (image 1). I am attempting to get a message to the user in certain circumstances via HTML output (image 2), which displays a message via the browser to the user if certain conditions are met, via redirecting the web-app page, e.g. there is an issue with their edits (image 3)image 1image 2image 3, text printed through the browserThis works, sort of. but its not good enough for end users, as the page redirects, but is blank and is stuck in a perpetual loading state. Until the user hits the ‘stop refresh’ (X) on their browser, then the message (image 3) appears.My questions are:How can I make this work without the user having to hit the stop refresh button?Will that page redirect stop the rest of the FME process from running/committing changes? Is there a way to link this to a terminator? if I can terminate the process the perpetual refresh may also stop.   I have the services set up like this:Or, are there any alternative ways to get a message to the

As the question title states, I would like to use the SharePoint Online Connector to download files from SharePoint to my local computer's drive. I was able to set up the connector using a web service and it says "translation successful" when I run the SharePoint Online Connector on it's own but I'm not sure what readers and/or writers to add, or is there something wrong in the parameters? The files on SharePoint vary from .docx, .xlsx, and .pdf formats If someone has a basic template to show that would be great. Thanks!

I'm trying to write AGOL features and attachments coming from a feature service tied to a Survey123 survey into a SQL Server geodatabase. I've looked through most of the tutorials and questions about this, but in my use case I need to maintain Global ID's on both the features and the attachments. The feature GlobalID's are being used to name photos that get stored in S3, so I can't use the examples that use a counter to create a new relational ID. I have set the "Maintain Global ID's" parameter on the AGOL reader and have exposed the AGOL attachment attributes. The attachments have a Global ID and Parent Global ID, and I figured it would be simple enough to use both of those to create the relationship class in the GDB since that's what the AGOL service is doing. When I query the service, I can see a feature's Global ID and the attachment's Global ID and its Parent Global ID (the GID of the feature it's attached to).  Feature popup: Quer

Hi !I have an image in my documents folder and I need to add it into excel on a specific cell. I saw a training available, but it uses an image fetcher. image fetcher cant be used with a folder path.Looking for inspiration as I have hit several walls.Thoughts?Thanks, in advanced.   

Hello,I seem to be outputting multiple folders when I run my app through data stream or data download.Tried connecting all connections to one feature writer but it seems to be limiting me to one excel file if I do that so I did multiple feature writers for each excel file that I want.Tested running my app through data download and data stream and it outputs multiple folders - one folder per feature writer.Was wondering if I am able to simply download all excel files right away without putting them into a folder or just output them all into one folder.Screenshot below.Feature writers under Microsoft excel format. Basically 2 sheet type. 1 is based on a value and other is count sheetNot much configuring except the name of the excel, sheet names, and drop/truncate both yesHere’s an example of what it outputs - 4 Folders(I suppose 1 folder for a specific feature writer) 

I can transform 2D GIS into 3D and write to the FME AR format, branded Realise in Form 25.1I can’t however “inspect” a .fmear file in the Data Inspector.Is Safe software planning on returning this functionality ?  

EDIT - I have solved my own issue here! We had some network changes, and I needed the SAS from the top level of the storage account rather than the specific container. Problem solved. I’ve successfully connected to the Azure BLOb using 2025.1 Form using the AzureBlobStorage Connector:I can connect to the “Hosted” folder inside the container “shared-data”. I am connecting using SAS. However, I need to use Flow 2024.2 and so I need to open this same workbench in Form 2024.2…. and this is where the fun starts!The transformer is slightly different, when I try to configure the Container I don’t seem to have the option to add the “Shared-data”. I am a complete novice at connecting to Azure, so please do not worry about over-explaining anything, I need all the help I can get! Many thanks in advance for any words of wisdom.RegardsStu

Has anyone in the UK who is using the Ordnance Survey Maps API managed to get them added into FME for use as a background map.  I have tried and get nothing to display….Any advice welcome...

Reading Utility Network Data in a FeatureReader with an SDE connection with resolve domains and resolve subtypes ticked.Domains can be applied different on each field dependent on subtype, but it looks like only those fields that are set to domains on the Unknown subtype are exposed on the reader. Subtypes that have domain fields applied to other fields, have these attributes resolved but they remain unexposed. Is this a known issue?

Hello FME CommunityI got issue when trying to connect to ArcGIS Portal from FME Form 2025.1. I get error “The web connection 'FME Account' could not be loaded”, but unlike in this discussion ()My workspace doesn’t finish normally and actualy is not able to read/write to the Portal Hosted feature layers. I use FeatureWriter and can see layers I want to read/write in the settings of the transformer.Is there any workaround for this? Or we should wait for 2025.2 like in above discussion suggested?I’ve upgraded from 2023.2 where everything works just fine.Thank you in advance.Regards. 

Hi,I’m using the FME Server API to perform an audit and cleanup. I can use the API to retrieve lists of users, workspaces, and workbenches. Separately, I can also get a list of connections.I want to check if any of these connections are now redundant after the recent cleanup. Is there a way to link connection names to the workbenches they are used in, so I can identify and remove unused connections?I can’t see a way to do this via the API. The only approach I can think of is to download all the .fmw files and then read them in FME Desktop using the .fmw reader.Any help or alternative suggestions would be appreciated, ideally all within the api.Thanks!!

ArcGIS Server 11.4 on the same machine Nightly scheduled jobs (~50) using ili2fme Writer to validate and export INTERLIS data Problem: A job that fails with model validation errors finishes correctly. Using FME Form 2025.1.1.0, I have some 30.000 features that have an attribute containing a polygon in Well-Known Text form.  Hello All,  I have successfully created a Workspace App that allows the user to search for available sampling sites in our database, and return the matched results in a new webpage using the Data Streaming service. We are using version 2024.1 for both Flow and Form.The screenshot below shows the simple flow - the users parameter values are tested to see which are blank/missing for when optional fields have no selections entered/chosen. The appropriate SQLExecutor then outputs the matches to the HTMLReportGenerator which creates a HTML table for the writer to generate the content.  My end goal is similar to this question but differs in that my results are based on user input. I would like the content of the HTML / results table to be embedded within the app layout, so I can be lazy. I’d want to keep a consistent design for a more professional user experience but if I can avoid having to create customised HTML to produce similar headers / footers / logos etc, I will jump at the opportun

To improve stability and performance please increase the memory available to FME. In the Esri ArcGIS Portal Feature Service I can reference a Feature Service in the parameters with the service name and an ide.g.But in the Esri ArcGIS Feature Service it’s not possible without a group? Is this correct?Is there some secret syntax i’m missing?
