As I understand things, currently one can only use the Esri enterprise geodatabase formats on a Windows host. When moving to kubernetes it is then needed to use queue control to direct those jobs to Windows VMs, which is not ideal.When can we expect those drivers to also work on Linux? And is the problem on the Esri side or the Safe Software side?

I create a simple FME Flow App - the user enters a word to search content. The FME workspace put the results into a html file under Resources/Data. I want put a link to this html file on the Flow App page to allow the user to click the link and open the html file in the browser to see the content. Can this be done?

My long time transformer friend FMEFlowLogFileRetriever is not avaliable in FME 2025. The error asked me to use HTTPCaller to retrieve the job log file. So I used this rest point in the HTTPCaller’s Request URL with GET - https://my-fme-flow-hostname/fmerest/v3/transformations/jobs/@Value(jobid)/log. I tried the Basic and Web Connection authentications, but both gives the error “HTTPCaller (HTTPFactory): An error occurred while accessing the URL 'https://my-fme-flow-hostname/fmerest/v3/transformations/jobs/98/log'”. I have no problem publishing using the same Web Connection for the authentication, so don’t understand what the issue is. The jobid = 98 was run successfully on the FME Flow.

I’m having an issue where the FME Workbench application is not loading correctly. I have added an image below, the bottom of the application is all white and just above that is a portion that hasn’t rendered correctly. I cannot get it to load things from the history, even though it acts like it has loaded. It feels like a rendering issue.Anyone else ever have this issue. Do I just need to reinstall it?

Hi everyone,I’m new to the FME world and trying to implement one of the automation workflows for Survey123 Report Generation and I’m wondering if anyone has run into this similar issue.I’ve followed the workflow here: https://support.safe.com/hc/en-us/articles/25407476227725-Emailing-a-Survey123-Report-using-FME-Flow but I’m having issues on Part 2, Step 4: Run the workspace.I can run the workspace but it’s failing on the Survey123ReportGetter transformer. It’s a general error stating ‘ArcGIS Online report job failed or returned an unknown status’. I can see in Survey123 within ArcGIS Online that the report has indeed kicked off and is generated, but my belief is that it is taking too much time to return that info back to FME so FME says its a failure. Currently in my workbench, that failure is occuring within a minute and I know that the Survey123 report process can take a little bit more time than that.Has anyone seen if there is a way to let this Survey123ReportGetter transformer pr

I am logging in  FME FLOW on our local FME Server (v25.2.1) using my AD Credentials that I manually enter.  When I get logged in, I try to open several workbenches that I had previously uploaded and to which I had full access. However, I get a popup message “Unauthorized request by user (myaccountname) due to lack of proper permissions or the object does not exist.”I contacted the local FME administrator who advised that my account had full permissions to the workbenches I was trying to access.  He advised I log off and back in several times, the implication that he was reviewing or changing something on his end.  And always the same resulting error message.The administrator is adamant that I should be able to access the workbenches, however, I cannot.I had asked that the issue be escalated but the administrator was unsure where to escalate the issue.I am looking for any advice on the issue.Thanks in advance

Hi,In a workbench, I created a Custom Transformer to loop batch of features.It is a workaround to prevent machine reboot on large feature datasets processing. At least, writing-along features in the Output to .csv. file help to recover features processed in PythonCaller and it is easier to resume for the remaining features… Here is the workbench, with Inputs:batch = 10counter = 54000 (total of features)loop = 0 (to keep track of iteration)offset = 0The Tester_counter transformer filter out batches 10 features at each iteration, sent to PythonCaller. At the end of processing the Tester_Loop tests if there is remaining features to process. Anything processed is sent to the Output and written in a .csv Writer transformer in the ‘Main’ workbench, whereas ‘failed’ remaining features from Tester_counter have their attributes incremented for variables loop and offset for the next iteration.However, when running the workbench, the output .csv file is created but kept empty. Hi.This may be a simple or a complex question, I’m not sure which.I’m attempting to use a dynamic expression, that I construct dynamically from values read from a file or table, and evaluate it on all relevant feature read from a database or file. Including AND/OR etc.How can this be achieved in Workbench ?I’ve tried to utilize ExpressionEvaluator with the expression @Value(@Value(expr)), but it doesn’t return any value in the “_result” variable.What am I doing wrong, and is it even feasable ?Are there better ways to achieve this ?Using 2025.2.4Cheers

Hi there,We recently installed ArcPro 3.3 with the data interoperability extension FME version 2024.0.1.0.I have succesfully used WorkspaceRunner in the previous version of ArcGIS PRO 2.8.But now, when I use the WorkspaceRunner transformer to run a simple workspace the transformer fails to read the published parameter, it says "Specified workspace has no parameters or could not be read". The workspace I am loading into workspacerunner does have a published user parameter. Does this happen because of the new version of ArcGIS? Anyone else have this experience? Thanks, Winonah

Has anyone else run into issues with how things are displayed in FME Flow 2025.2.1 Examples: Engine Assignment Rules - we have two hosts which differ in name by suffix only. The way engines are displayed on the Engine Assignment Rules tab means you can’t quickly tell which engines are assigned as the critical bit is displayed as … (the full names are available on mouseover) The hostnames displayed in No proxy also have their urls partially replaced with …. so there appears to be no way to actually check via the user interface what values are entered here. In 2024.1 these values were displayed in full

Hi Community,I tried to use a DB Connection as Deployment Parameter and set it as Default value in the User Parameters in Workbench as shown in Screenshot below. However when I publish this workspace to Flow the User Parameter with DB Connection is empty and I need to select again the DB Connection manually (2nd Screenshot).Is this an expected behaviour? In my logic the User Parameter should be set automatically (works like this e.g. for Text Deployment Parameters as User Parameter). Hi FME gurus. I am trying to extract values from a list to populate columns with the associated values in the fields.  In my list (called _columns) I have a caption field which has the name of the column I want to create and the date value I want to populate into the field so the example I have in the screenshot I want to look like this: Application ID Last Inspection Next Inspn Due 648343 2025-06-23 2026-06-16 15456.. 2025…. 2026….  The list exploding only brings out the name of the original column ‘caption’ but I am looking to use the values in the list itself to build the attributes and populate the values. There are records with more than 2 elements in the list and I still will need to figure out how to expose the attributes (schema scanner?) once it is done but this is the first step. Any suggestions would be amazing, Thank you.Michael.

Hello all!I have a question regarding accessing data in an Enterprise Geodatabase in a branch-versioned Feature Service scenario:Using FME’s Esri Geodatabase (ArcSDE Geodb) Reader, can I read branch-versioned feature classes directly from my Enterprise Geodatabase (SDE connection) now that I have published a branch-versioned Feature Service? If I point it to the “sde.DEFAULT” version, will it access the features correctly?I would like to perform some heavy geoprocessing tasks, and my Feature Service performance isn’t keeping up, so the Esri ArcGIS Connector is a no-go. My Enterprise Geodatabase, on the other hand, is robust and more than capable of handling these tasks (e.g., DatabaseJoiners, FeatureReaders, FeatureMergers, etc.). Thanks.

Is there any way to cancel a system restore, it appears to be hung at  Unzipping migration package stage for 1.5 hours now.  I think the file system/network glitched during the process.  There is no cancel in the UI, no jobs running.  

I have a donut geometry (see WKT below) which I am trying to validate. Using the GeometryValidator only looking for self intersections I get an error on the start/end point of the outer ring: Error report:Coordinates from the inspector: I would expect this to not be reported as a self intersection since polygons normally require intersection at exactly that point.  Why is FME reporting this? I am loading a small raster/tiff into CesiumJS via ion for a limited area of interest, which works, but I am getting a sharp “cliff” between this raster and the surrounding Cesium-terrain (I assume it is the Ellipsoid, it sits at roughly 35m above MSL). My initial idea was to see if I can “lift” the surrounding terrain up to the level of my custom raster-tif, but I guess that’s not possible, so my second idea is to expand my raster to continue outward at a set height (say 80m) for a few hundred meters instead to better mask the impression of the vertical cliff, and maybe have it ramp downhill until it meets the default terrain. However, I have no idea how to do this in FME, and ChatGPT is hallucinating around FME as per usual :)Does anyone have an idea of a solution for this? Ultimately, I just want something nicer than the sharp cliff a la Grand Canyon into something that is not too distracting for users. I am working on a project creating building footprints from a lidar point cloud. However, the original lidar point cloud being used has some portions of buildings classified with “unassigned” values which has created incomplete building footprints. Are there any suggestions how I could identify these “unassigned” building values to fix the building footprint?

Hello!After an update from FME-flow 2024 to 2025 and after the update some roles are not able to open the repositories under workspaces. They get the message ‘Unauthorized request by user <user> due to lack of proper permissions or the object does not exist’. I'm a superuser and able to open the repositories. Is there a new option under User Management I'm not aware of? Or does someone know a solution?

Hello everyone,I am seeking confirmation on whether GeometryValidator supports 3D geometry validation (such as solids, meshes, point clouds, etc.) in version 2025.0I noticed that GeometryValidator includes an issue type called “Self-Intersection in 2D”, which suggests that this one specifically built for 2D geometry. However, I would like to understand whether the other issue types - such as Missing Vertex Normals, Missing Texture Coordinates, Invalid Solid Boundaries, Invalid Solid Voids, Contains Non-Planar Surfaces, Invalid Area Orientation, Surface Orientation, and others - are applicable to and capable of validating 3D data.Could you please clarify which of these validations support 3D geometries?Thanks in advanced!
