Hello,I try to do something very simple but I think I must be dumb. So I’m working with a ArcGIS Featureservices data which are agriculture data. In the RPG_2023, the attributes associated to “CODE_GROUP” will be only numbers like 11,16,18 so very simple.In the user parameter I try to add the “CHOICE” parameter because I want the script to ask me which kind of attribute I want to work with.I try to use the import wizard using the valuesBut then in this box is going endless ==>I don’t know if I do something wrong or it’s normal for the reading dataset to be so long.I don’t have a lot of different attributes (maybe 26 max different kind of “CODE_GROUP”). If someone could help me because I don’t understand what do I do wrong. Or if you have documentation about the subject I will be very happy to learn more about it.Thanks a lot and sorry for my english !! 

Hey all, After updating my FME Form to version 2025.2.2 & updating the ArcGISConnector package one of my FME Flows has stopped operating in the same way. I have an ArcGISOnlineConnector Transformer which updates a hosted CSV item on an ESRI Enterprise system. This had been previously working well & updating each row within the CSV and the CSV on Enterprise showing as updated after the flow had completed. Following the update the Flow now only updates the First & Last feature according to the log. The CSV on the Enterprise does also not show as having been updated when the flow has completed. This worfklow does still work on FME Form. I’m working on building a workflow in FME (2025.1) to publish and maintain a hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Portal/Enterprise, and I’m running into issues getting upsert (insert/update) functionality working properly.GoalI have a point layer that I’m creating in FME and writing to a hosted feature service that I created FROM FME. I want to:Run the workspace repeatedly Update existing features if they already exist Insert new ones if they don’t Avoid creating duplicates each runI keep running into problems with global ID or object ID. I’ve tried using the Unique Identifier Generator to create a Global ID.

Hi,I use a JSONTemplater to make a geojson with nested attributes. It works fine. The only thing I notice is that I have a number in real32 (1.21) and when it comes out of the JSONTemplater it has the value 1.2100000381469727. The extra decimals apear out of nowhere. How can I change these back to the original? Or can I use some kind of casting? I use FME 2023.2.5.Thank you

Hi all,I have a fault tolerant deployment of FME Flow 2026.1 in our private AWS account. Our security team requires us to limit the number of ports to be opened between WebUI/Core and Engine hosts (eg. least privilege).Is there a best practice rule/formula in calculating the number of ports required to be opened depending on the number of engines per host and the number of hosts in your deployment and the starting port number? Hi there,I have installed FME Flow 2026.1 in AWS has a High Availability WebUI/Core with distributed engines.The setup uses HTTPS on an internal url (corporate network)When I try to connect FME Form to Flow, I get the following error message Unable to retrieve public key from FlowUnable to establish secure communications with FlowDeployment parameter access failed (Connection Error) - Unable to connect to FME Flow. Has anybody seen this before? ThanksWhen I use the url in the browser on the same machine (tested on 2 different machines), i can log in using my admin user account 

I have several automated jobs that use either a startup or shutdown python script.  These scripts run fine in workbench and even in the ESRI Python interpreter on the Flow machine.  The issue arises when I run them from Flow.  When it gets to the script it will output expected products until the exportToPDF command at which point it fails.  No errors are indicated anywhere except in the Engine Log where this is displayed: WARN     localhost_Engine2   393562 : Process "localhost_Engine2" ended unexpectedly. How would I go about reading these polygons (which are buffered lines) from Smallworld into FME without FME filling in the gaps in the polygon. Alternatively, How would I restore the donut geometry of the polygons? I have tried GeometryCoercer, DonutBuilder, etc. with no luck. This will be written to a KML. 

Most REST API’s I have worked with work in a similar way with regards to authorization: Based on some credentials, you generate a token, and use that token for subsequent requests. You can usually create as many tokens as you want using the same request. What I noticed in FME (but please correct me if I’m wrong), is that a token must have a unique name, and when using the same request, you get a response that says Specified user token already exists. Of course I can update an existing token, or delete it and create a new one, but that means that in most cases, I need two requests instead of one.Another thing I noticed is that expired tokens are not deleted automatically: A request to /fmeapiv4/tokens showed me a token that apparently I generated 7 years ago! I am curious about the reasoning behind this way of using tokens. I mean, why does a token have to have a name, and why would you keep generated tokens forever?

I have a series of pdf’s that have been georeferenced in ArcGIS Pro, and as a result they have an associated .aux.xml file with them. If I bring that pdf into ArcGIS Pro, it is accurately depicted on the map in the correct location.  However, in FME when I read in the pdf, it shows me all of the vector features in the pdf, but the pdf features themselves are located around the co-ordinate 0,0 and not in the georeferenced location. I understand this is because the .aux.xml isn’t being read by FME. In FME, how can I create a workflow that will accurately read in both the .pdf and its corresponding .aux.xml so that the vector features are visible in the graphics window and to export to a file geodatabase feature class? I don’t want to convert the pdf to raster/tiff because then I will lose the vector features.

After upgrading from FME Flow 2024.2.3 to 2025.2.4, the labels (titles) under Gallery Apps are now rendered as blue, underlined hyperlinks.Previously, the labels were displayed as plain black text without underline, even though the entire app tile was clickable.2025.2.4:2024.2.3:Are there any built-in configuration options or recommended approaches to control the styling of Gallery App labels? We are aware that other organizations have experienced the same issue after upgrading from the same versions.

Hi everyone,I have a set of N points that I would like to generalize as follows :Generate Voronoi diagram for the set ; Eliminate the point with the smallest Voronoi cell area ; Redo the same process (generate Voronoi diagram for the remaining points then eliminate the smallest one) until 30% of the points are eliminatedI have tried to implement the process in FME but got stuck on how to do it using a custom loop transformer and how to implement the 30% threshold that depends on the number of features entering the transformer.Any help is much appreciated.Many thanks.

Good day, I am currently using a LineCombiner with Attribute Accumulation > Accumulation Mode set to ‘Use Attributes From One Feature’.How does FME decide which feature's attributes are used? I couldn't find anything on this in the documentation.I used a counter (grouped by the attribute I want the lines to be combined on) before the LineCombiner to validate the outcome. I figured out in half of the cases it used the first feature, for the other half it used the last or some feature in between. How I can influence which feature to use ? I want it to use the first feature always as I sorted them according to some rules.

I am in the process of deploying a new GIS platform (~250 users) and need FME Form to connect to branched versioned feature services hosted in our ArcGIS Enterprise Portal 12.0. When Integrated Windows Authentication (IWA) is enabled on the Portal (to allow seamless sign‑in on the network), FME cannot authenticate the web connection.Environment / what works vs. fails:FME Form reader: Esri ArcGIS Feature Service FME Web Connections tried: Esri ArcGIS Enterprise OAuth and Esri ArcGIS Portal token Both succeed when IWA is disabled Both fail when IWA is enabled (FME can’t establish the Portal connection)Goal: Ideally keep IWA for user convenience and allow FME to run reconcile/post workflows against branched feature services. If the only practical path is to have users sign in and “remember credentials,” we can accept that, but I am hoping for a better solution.Questions:Does FME Form support connecting to Portal secured with IWA, and if so, what specific Web Connection setup is required?

Hello,I found more people who raised the same question, but it was 4 years ago, and I don’t know if it has been resolved and/or how.I am in the following situation: I need to read subtype domains from an ESRI enterprise geodatabase, and I would like to see the domain descriptions, not just the codes. I’ve tried using the new ‘feature service’ reader (enterprise configuration) and enabled domain resolution and exposing subtype_name, but I didn’t get the expected result.While reading the documentation, I saw that the .sde reader offers more options in the constraints, including “Resolve Subtypes.” Is it actually possible to obtain subtype descriptions this way?Am I missing something when using the feature service?Thanks :)

Hi everyone,I’m working with a line layer (see attached image) where some segments are missing. These missing parts actually exist in other layers, and my goal is to “fill in” or reconstruct the complete network by integrating those segments.In other words, I have:A primary line layer with gaps Additional layers that contain the missing line segmentsWhat would be the best approach in FME to identify and merge these missing sections into the main layer?I’m especially interested in workflows or transformers that can help match and connect these geometries properly (e.g. snapping, merging, or topology-based methods).I’ve attached a second image showing the layer that contains the missing parts.Any suggestions or best practices would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance.   

I have georefferenced pdf file(HLB_Map) and i need a output as digitalized layout map( for reference  i have attached ) by using raster pdf file...Please give a guidence 

I am exporting a large dataset to Geopackages divided into municipality, county and nationwide datasets. Only for some of the largest ones I get errors like this: 2026-03-14 21:22:05|3087.0| 4.4|ERROR |OGCGEOPACKAGE writer: sqlite3_exec(DETACH DATABASE "temp_rtree_48b1c18db46d5df6f87d84127b4186ce") failed: database temp_rtree_48b1c18db46d5df6f87d84127b4186ce is lockedAs far as I can see, the produced geopackage works fine and the content is complete. But an additional file is left together with the zipped geopackage file.The full file name of the extra file is something like Basisdata_0301_Oslo_25832_FKB-Gronnstruktur_GPKG.gpkg.tmp_rtree_bunnsjikt.db. Have anyone else seen this? Could this be related to some kind of size limitation of the Geopackage/SQLite format? Are there any workaround or solution? The FME version is 2024.2.3. 

Has anyone else run into issues with how things are displayed in FME Flow 2025.2.1 Examples: Engine Assignment Rules - we have two hosts which differ in name by suffix only. The way engines are displayed on the Engine Assignment Rules tab means you can’t quickly tell which engines are assigned as the critical bit is displayed as … (the full names are available on mouseover) The hostnames displayed in No proxy also have their urls partially replaced with …. so there appears to be no way to actually check via the user interface what values are entered here. In 2024.1 these values were displayed in full 

Hi, I have a problem with runing Flow Apps on Flow 2026.1When i press run i got : And in F12 tab shows Internal server error 500 Job Section is empty, i dont even get faild or cancelled job.Any idea what could it be?My Form and Flow version are both the same, 2026.1 Thank you in advanced!
