All I want to do is create a TIN from a point CSV. I have used the TINGenerator transformer, but the TIN that is created does not have any elevation. The geometry is 3D in the Inspector, but it does not show any height information. If I create a TIN in ArcGIS, it has the correct elevation. I will also post my workflow. Can anyone help me?  

The Black line starting from left should align(shown in yellow) with red line.how to accomplish this in fme.Polygon 1 and 2 belongs to one layer and polygon 3 is from another layer. 

Hi All,Has anyone experienced issues with the AutodeskDocsConnector transformer when downloading Revit files from Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)?In my case, when the Revit files are downloaded via the transformer as part of an automation, the resulting files are noticeably larger in size and FME is unable to recognise them as valid Revit files, returning an error. However, when I download the same Revit files manually from ACC, the file size is smaller and the files are read correctly in FME without any issues.I would appreciate any insights or similar experiences, as well as suggestions on what might be causing this discrepancy.I’m using FME(R) 2024.2.4.0 (20250318 - Build 24831 - WIN64)Thanks :)

Hallo everyone,I copied and upgraded an ArcGIS Dimension Feature Class (File GDB) using ArcPy.However, when trying to read it in FME 2024 (FeatureReader / File Geodatabase Reader), I get this error:Unable to convert row to 'DimensionFeature'FME can see the schema, but fails when reading the features.Does FME support reading Dimension Feature Classes, or is there a known workaround?Thanks.

I have a COG with a scale factor (excerpt from GDALInfo)Band 1 Block=1024x1024 Type=Int32, ColorInterp=Gray  Min=-50313.000 Max=57304.000  Minimum=-50313.000, Maximum=57304.000, Mean=4745.177, StdDev=7550.452  NoData Value=-32767  Offset: 0,   Scale:0.1How do I apply this scale factor in FME?   If I clip the input and create a new tif,  the scale factor is dropped and the values are 10 times the expected.In this particular case I can just scale the value back down, but in general, is there a way to retrieve the scale factor and apply it?

Hello Team,I have an Excel template with a single worksheet that includes predefined colours, formatting, etc.In version 2025.0, I’m trying to write my results into this template, but I want to output multiple worksheets within the same workbook using the same template. I’ve tried several approaches (both dynamic and manual), but they either fail or behave unexpectedly.What I’m seeing is that only the first worksheet shows the designed template but no results, while the subsequent worksheets contain the results but lose the template formatting. Even when I set Remove Template Sheet if Unchanged to Yes, the first worksheet (the template sheet) is still present with no results filled in.Does anyone know whether this is achievable in version 2025.0? If so, how should it be configured in the Excel Writer?Kind regardsThanks!

The initial setup is already in place: I've created the 3D environment and published some Revit files to Portal for ArcGIS using ArcGIS Pro.Here’s the current workflow:Load the Revit file into ArcGIS Pro within a 3D scene. This results in three published items: a scene-hosted layer, a feature-hosted layer, and a web scene.Since the engineering team updates the Revit files weekly, I’m exploring ways to automate this process using FME Form and Flow. Hello everybody,I am trying to build a flow app: The user has an Excel file with 3 columns.  the flow app must show the values of theses columns as one parameter (I want to have the chance to filter the list using one of the 3 columns). My Problem is to get the contents of the excel file. If I try it with the User Paramters Window, I can import from dataset or reader formats. But with these options I do not get the contents but the headers or the name of the readers.I can save the contents of the File in a SQL Database. But I do not know how I can read them and show them in the user parameter List. Has anyone any Idea, how I can get a List with a filter to show those values of the excel?Thanks in advance!Manuel

Hi,I have a strange issue when writing to excel. I have a feature writer to excel in dynamic mode. To prevent numbers being converted to a scientific notation I added a Excel Styler where I set the custom numer format to 0. This works perfect.The problem is that now my dates and datetimes are suddenly shown as number. When I change the cell format to date it shows the date, but I want it to directly show the date. When I remove the ExcelStyler, dates are shown as dates. Anyone any idea how to fix this?I use FME 2023.2.5.

For one of the first versions of Data Virtualization, it is required to create a work-around for IIS. Unfortunately it is not possible to react on the knowledge article directly anymore.I just updated to build 25835 and after a quick test I see the work-around is still required. From which version onwards is this not necessary any more?

Hello all - grateful for some suggestions here - I’m being driven slowly mad…We are developing a ‘data portal’ style workbench running in FME2025.1, using a dynamic writer to deal with multiple input and output datasets and multiple possible output formats - the dataset and output format are specified by user parameters.The source datasets are point or polygon datasets stored in an MSSQL Esri SDE and output formats  include all the usual GIS data formats.This is generally working well but one polygon dataset is failing to wite out. If you have an existing automation and need to make a change, you make your changes and publish \\ overwrite in FME Forms. Once you go to the automation and stop it, all parameters are reset to defaults. This happens even to workspaces that were not updated. This has happened the last 2 or 3 releases, currently we are onFME Flow 2023.1Build 23619 - win64

I'm quite new to CAD. I have an Oracle database with parcels. I would like to convert these to DGN (for users in Microstation) and DWG (for users in Autocad). The parcelnumbers should be a text field as the centroid of the parcels.  I have only a licence for Microstation to test the DWG's over there before I can sent them to the users using Autocad. I can create and convert the parcels and texts to DGN. These work fine.When converting the parcels to DWG I can see the number of features (elements) in Microstation, but not the geometry itself.What should I do get the geometry right?

I am not sure why I am struggling with this one… I have tried quite a few options.  What I would like to do is:Pull Alignment file from an XML (this has the starting value as an attribute, end value can be calculated by start value + line length) Set Start and End Measures Kick out an m-enabled polyline that is geometrically calibratedI have the workbench set up to pull this in, using a geometry coercer to make sure it is a line, then I have been trying the measure generator and measure setters to get these values to stick with no luck.

HiI am encountering a critical issue when using the ArcGIS Online Feature Service Writer (within a FeatureWriter transformer) in a dynamic workspace.When a specific column contains data that AGOL deems "invalid HTML" (e.g., strings containing <, >, or specific URL parameters), the translation fails with a Fatal Error. I’m testing the new OPENFILEGDB Reader in 2026.1 that supersedes the old Open GDB Reader, but it doesn’t resolve my subtypes and domains. I would like to use gdalinfo to read the metadata/header for a folder of rasterfiles to get the extent and of each file. Ggalinfo can read this without loading the raster itself. This greatly speeds up the process.Can we use the gdal implementation of FME to do this and if so how?  Hi,I am using the Matcher transformer to find pairs of features with the same attribute value.Now I want to create a new attribute rel_obj that stores the ObjectID of the other feature in the matched pair as in the image. What is the best way to implement this in FME?Thanks 

I have a network of connected points and lines, and I’m looking for a way to create a selection set of points along the network, the key being I want to only select every other point. I tried modular selection counts (odd vs even numbering), network topology build for start and end node, but I can’t seem to get the results I’m looking for. Below is a screen capture - I want to eliminate the grey colored points in between. At intersections these points would be retained if necessary according to the ordering.  Select all points in Orange, skip points in Grey
