I get this error message in the system events log:Event Description: Triggered whenever a warning message is logged to fmeserver.log.Event Title: Warning Message LoggedMessage: Parameter STREAM_JOB_KEY_TTL missing from config file. I am writing AutoCAD DWG with changing areas/extents. My template file defines the styling. When opening the file in CAD it zooms to a blank area (possibly from the extents of the template file) and I need to zoom to extents to find my current area. Is it possible to either remove any extent information from the template file, or force the output DWG file to zoom in on the current area extents?

I am using FME to write to microstation DGN. The FME workbench file is using the fanout option to write different areas to the microstation DGN file, based on the same seed file. At the moment I have to use a microstation macro to "fitview" of each produced file in order to have the microstation file centered at each specific area. I rather use only FME to avoid this additonal step.Is there a way / transformer in FME to save the microstation file centered in the written data?

Currently I have 23 CoG’s in an Azure Blob container and I want to retrieve only the area of those CoG’s covered by a rectangle that I use as the initiator for a FeatureReader.Unfortunately, the FeatureReader is reading first all the CoG’s in before making the decision where the bounding box is within, and then it returns the entire CoG, where I was rather expecting it would return the part the bounding box is covering.The CoG’s originate from the Copernicus DEM coverage GLO-30, contain overviews, etc…It takes almost 3 minutes for the FeatureReader to process the request. The bounding box is within a single CoG.When looking at the parameters for the COG reader, then I can see there is actually the possibility to set a search envelope. I could feed the bounding box to the envelope, which sadly is missing in the FeatureReader. Is there a way to speed things up? I only want to have the parts of the COG’s covered by the bounding box used as initiator, basically performing a range request.

Has anyone successfully connected to Snowflake using OAuth? We have been using a local account to connect to Snowflake but have recently been requested to use an Azure based OAuth connection. We have an assigned client ID, key and refresh url available but need to understand how to make the calls. Thanks!

Hello,We are currently upgrading an FME-based application for one of our customers from FME 2020 to FME 2024, and we have encountered an issue that appears to be related to coordinate system handling.The application uses FME to convert a set of DGNV8 drawings into an MS SQL Server database. For some drawings, we observe a positional shift of approximately 10 centimeters (a few decimeters at most) after processing.In the DGNV8 Reader, the Coordinate System parameter in the Navigator window is set to "".When inspecting the source datasets with FME Data Inspector in FME 2020, all drawings are reported as having an Unknown Coordinate System, regardless of which file is opened.However, in FME 2024, we see different behavior:For some drawings, Data Inspector reports the coordinate system as EPSG:28992. For other drawings, it reports NationalRD-NL.The drawings belonging to the latter group appear to be shifted relative to the other drawings.My questions are:Is this behavior related to differe

I have a single dataset containing a set of polygons. Some of these polygons are touching each other. I would like to dissolve polygons which are touching (of orverlapping) into one large polygon. However, I would also like the new large polygon to take over the attributes from a specific feature. The feature from which the attributes are to be taken has a specific name in one of the attributes. Let's call this attribute “NAME". Hence, I sorted the features based on “NAME” before feeding to the Dissolver. However, it seems the Dissolver does not choose my first sorted feature to take the attributes from, but it seems to choose the feature (polygon) with the largest surface area. There does not seem to be a setting in the Dissolver which allows me to choose how the attributes are handled and how it chooses from which feature to take the attritubes. How do I dissolve my polygons, taking the attributes from the polygon where “NAME” has the value lowest in the alphabet? I don't know on bef

Hi all,I'm trying to bring object detection capabilities into an FME workflow using YOLO models built with Ultralytics, and I'd love some guidance from anyone who's tackled this before.What I'm trying to do:Run inference with a trained Ultralytics YOLO model (e.g., detection, segmentation, or OBB) inside an FME workspace   Data (e.g., from PythonCaller ) into the model and get bounding boxes / masks / class labels back as FME features Ideally write the results back out as vector features (polygons/points) with attributes for class, confidence score, etc.Specific questions:Has anyone integrated Ultralytics' Python package (pip install ultralytics) directly via FME's PythonCaller transformer? Any gotchas with FME's bundled Python environment vs. installing ultralytics and its dependencies (torch, etc.)? I need to download one or more PDF documents from Sharepoint as part of an export process. These PDF’s have random titles and filenames, in the Sharepoint library an extra column was added containing a unique ID. It’s this ID I have to use in order to download the correct PDF.Problem is that I can get this ID from Sharepoint using the Sharepoint Online List Reader, but that cannot give me the download URL. Conversely I can get the download url from the SharepontOnlineConnector transformer, but that one does not allow me to get the added custom ID.So in order to get all the info I need,  have to use the reader AND the connector and join the results from both together, which is rather ugly.Am I missing something? Is there a way either of these can be configured where I get all the necessary info in one go? Or is this as designed? If the last, I’ll file an Idea I suppose...

Hi everyone,I'm planning an FME deployment and would like to know if it's supported or recommended to place a load balancer between the FME Web Application Server and the FME Core + Engine components.My goal is to improve availability and scalability, but I'm unsure whether this architecture is supported or if there are any limitations or configuration requirements.Has anyone implemented this setup successfully? If so:Is it a supported architecture? Are there any best practices or considerations? Would this effect job execution or communication between the Web Application Server and the Core/Engine?Any guidance or recommendations would be appreciated.Thank you!  

Has anyone been able to mine Oracle redo logs using logminer? I’m beginner to Oracle but it seems to me that it should be possible. I’m trying to create cdc process from Oracle to postgres and I’m able to query insert and update operations sufficiently enough from date fields that tell me when rows are updated or inserted. However, I can’t catch delete operations that way and it would be beneficial to be able to read the redo logs for the actual operations. I know I can query and compare id’s from source and target to detect deleted rows. However, this is time consuming because that would mean querying hundreds of millions of rows for the workflow.If I understood correctly, I need to setup DBMS_LOGMNR package and session for the logminer to be able to query V$LOGMNR_CONTENTS that would hold the transaction information. I guess DBMS_LOGMNR is part of Oracle database? Would that mean that I need Oracle database installed with license to be able to use logminer? The source Oracle database

There was an update to ArcGIS Online last week 06/2026 that is causing an issue with the number of records you can read using the AGOL reader. It is limited to 400k records. Since the hosted layer that I am reading has way more than 400k it has broken my workbench. Has anyone ran across this yet and is there a workaround I can use since this workflow is essential for updating an enterprise application.

I have a polygon with the 100m buffer along a linear infrastructure. I want to devide the polygon in segments of max. 1200m length. I have used the chopper but in the results were longer than 1200m.Do you have an idea how to solve the problem?  

I was using Service account Key File as a credential source for google cloud storage connector but it looks like its been removed as an option. anyone else seeing this? 

Hi,I’m currently struggling to figure out how to convert a LOD2 3D-Multipatch from a FileGDB into CityGML. I do currently not have a program available to open or edit CityGML files, but it might be important at a later stage to be able to convert the data back into CityGML. Is it generally possible to convert any multipatch into a CityGML file at a later stage, or is important information lost in the process?How do I ensure that a distinction is made between Wall, Roof, Ground, and Closure Surface? Or is it all simply classified as Building?I've already looked at the website Writing CityGML from FME, but unfortunately, I still don't know how to proceed. How do I know which ‘citygml_lod_name’ value to use? If multiple values ​​yield a result, should I use all of them parallel?I would be grateful for any tips to help me understand this better…Thank you! My first attempt of a workbench...

I have very big IFC file in GB, what i  would like to do is just keep Attributes and export it as IFC file without loosing any order or level etc.  Only remove Geometry , below is what i am doing but not getting it right . Any support would be highly appreciated.

Our users being Enterprise Portal users seeing this as a WMS in a webmap.I’ve kind of figured out that the main step here that is different is boycutting the “Create Image from source data” in the GetPNG one, but I am still bumping into problems.Anyone having an experience about doing this here that is eager to contribute?With regards, Hlynur.

I have encountered an issue where using a Snowflake writer will either cause errors or corrupt data if the text field contains emoji characters. This is occurring with FME Form 2025.2.3.0 on Windows 11. If I am writing to a VARCHAR column in Snowflake, the emoji characters will be corrupted but the field will write. If I am writing JSON to a VARIANT column, the workspace will fail with an error. In the past I have just let this issue go because I have been writing to VARCHAR fields. Now that I’m writing JSON to a VARIANT, I need to find a better solution. Although I believe FME 2025 and Snowflake are both using UTF-8, it looks like it is getting converted to something else somewhere along the line. The easiest way I have to test this is to create a Snowflake table:create table mm_temp_utf8_test (text_col varchar, json_col variant);Then I can use a SQLExecutor.If the SQLExecutor just populates the VARCHAR column, it will succeed but the data will be corrupted:insert into mm_temp_utf8_te

My org recently upgraded Flow and Form from 2025.1 to 2026.1  We have heaps of translations that involve both Enterprise Portal and ArcGIS online.  The web connections and services had all been upgraded to use the newer version of the ArcGIS Connector package (the safe.esri-agol versions). I’ve re-used all the safe.esri-agol web services built in Form 2025 in 2026. Everything authenticates and grabs a token as it should in testing the connections.Actually using the ArcGIS OnlineConnector is a different story. It works great in 2025 still, and reads everything available to the account: In 2026 however: 2026 version is trying to use a proxy to connect and eventually just times out without reading anything.Is anyone else seeing this behavior, and if so how to correct it?  The Proxy settings in both versions of Form are both the same (use system settings).Thanks!Chad

I want to find the connection attach to the automation in workspace/workflow. I am using {fme_flow_domain}/fmeapiv4/automations/{id}/components this url but I am not able to get the connection and then I check for the dependencies I got something there and then I check for the repository and workspace, but I don’t get exact answer like what id deployment parameter and connection used.

Hello, In FME Form, I am trying to generate a line from 3 parameters: lon/lat (WGS 84) length geographic orientation (from geographic north, in degrees)I have tried several ways to build this line (2DDirectionExtender, VertexCreator + Offsetter (tested polar coordinates or spherical coordinates), VertexCreator + Rotator)Always the same result, when I measure the angle from geographic north, there is a difference for instance, with my input:lon/lat : -4.49027778, 48.02000000 length : 0.002 orientation : 100.478°In both methods, FME gives me this result:When I calculate the bearing from start point to generated end point, it gives me the same result 105.411° (same with online bearing calculators using coords)Any idea on what could be wrong? Thank you
