Hi all,Got a strange situation with the SharePointOnlineConnector (both in FME Form 2024 & 2025.2).I want to upload a file towards a certain sharepointsite. In the GUI I can select my site: ‘https://mysharepoint.com/teams/teamA, my library and my Path.  If I want to make my site dynamic, so File A needs to to go site from TeamA and File B needs to go to site from TeamBI’m not able to do this. User Parameter does not work. Making the url like this: https://mysharepoint.com/teams/@teamValue does not work → Even for the File for TeamB it still refers to the site from TeamA (or whatever team I selected to create the workspace).Even using the setup of getting the <HostURL>,<siteID>,<webId>  provided from attributes: It still points towards the old setup and not a dynamic one. Am I missing a certain step? the used Authentication account has rights towards the sharepoint (setup via this guideline: How to Create a SharePointOnlineConnector Single Tenant Web Connection – F

Is it possible to turn off log entries like these?Workspace was last saved in FME version: FME 2025.1.3.1 (20251021 - Build 25645 - WIN64) Failed to free sufficient memory to reach the process usage limit. To improve stability and performance please increase the memory available to FME. Available memory can be increased by adding physical RAM, increasing swap space, or closing other applicationsThese just add clutter to the job reviewing process.   

Has anyone in the UK who is using the Ordnance Survey Maps API managed to get them added into FME for use as a background map.  I have tried and get nothing to display….Any advice welcome...

Hi There,I am using a Text-FeatureReader to process .csv for input into a geocoder.  The problem is that these user-created csv contains Line Breaks and the addresses candidates cannot be read into the geocoder or even the Text-FeatureReader (please see attached grapic)...  I have a StringReplacer ready to fix the issue downstream but the problem is that the TextReader can not read and pass along the Line Break data (it goes missing) and I do not see any settings within the Text-FeatureReader itself to handle the string replacement.  --FYI I am using a Text-FeatureReader instead of a CSV-Reader because the data schema is always unknown.  Any help would be super appreciated.  Thank you!.

Hi folks,I had a question regarding creating an FME script that takes attributes from a system of record dataset into an existing record created in a feature class within an Enterprise Geodatabase.Workflow consists of the following:Two layers with the same information and attributes in different systems of record – one in an asset management system and feature class in an Enterprise Geodatabase.No integration exists between the two systems yet as there is a new replacement system being developed in a project, but in the intermediary, it has been decided that the business will be updating the asset in the asset management system, then updating the feature class attribute table in the Enterprise Geodatabase. Therefore, they will be maintaining two datasets in tandem until the pilot project for the replacement system is complete.The difference is that the layer in the asset management system only stores XY/Lat/Long values whereas the true layer in the feature class in the Enterprise Geoda

Why does XML header of the FME generated file displays the XML header as <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" > instead of <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>

I already have a support case open for this, but I’m curious if anybody else is having credential issues with the AzureFileStorageConnector (Azure Storage package 4.2.1)  in FME 2025?I’m getting the error message:  AzureFileStorageConnector: Connection 'xxx Azure Storage' does not exist. Check connection parameter and connection definitions in FME options and try again.Creating a new web connection does not solve this issue. 

Hi,As Safe people do some fun projects with AI like https://hub.safe.com/publishers/safe-sandbox/templates/agentic-ai-spatial-schema-mapping-template-gemini, would it be possible to do one preparing one or multile schema mapping file(s) instead of mapping all data through AI? You could just send a sample to Gemini/OpenAI (you name it), with the associated schema and restructure the output into something accepted by SchemaMapper. This would be better for performance, safety and the planet 😊. Quite many transformers could be adapted to digest an input like schemamapper so that they can be configured by AI agents in a nicer way. Thanks! 

Recently our network has been segmented which causes an issue with sending mail (emailer transformer) with FME Form from server X using an smtp mailserver which is in another part of the network. A firewall has been added in between these two. The firewall blocks mails being sent because fme form (20241202 - Build 24801 - WIN64)) supposedly uses an outdated version of OpenSMTP giving this issue: CVE Record: CVE-2020-7247Does anyone recognize this? It seems to be an old issue dating back to 2020. I would expect this to be solved in a 2024 version. I can't find anything in the documentation. Help would be appreciated since I know very little about firewall, mailservers etc. 

I trying to find out the differences (and uses) of the 4 version types available in the Esri Geodatabase (ArcSDE Geodb) reader/writer:Version from SDE connection Transactional version Historical marker specific date and timeI’m not clear on the differences between them especially version from SDE connection and Transactional version where the version can be specified. From my understanding the transactional version is where the sde version is specified and if not then the default is used?An explanation or pointing me in the right direction would be very much appreciated.

If you have an existing automation and need to make a change, you make your changes and publish \\ overwrite in FME Forms. Once you go to the automation and stop it, all parameters are reset to defaults. This happens even to workspaces that were not updated. This has happened the last 2 or 3 releases, currently we are onFME Flow 2023.1Build 23619 - win64

Hello FME CommunityI got issue when trying to connect to ArcGIS Portal from FME Form 2025.1. I get error “The web connection 'FME Account' could not be loaded”, but unlike in this discussion ()My workspace doesn’t finish normally and actualy is not able to read/write to the Portal Hosted feature layers. I use FeatureWriter and can see layers I want to read/write in the settings of the transformer.Is there any workaround for this? Or we should wait for 2025.2 like in above discussion suggested?I’ve upgraded from 2023.2 where everything works just fine.Thank you in advance.Regards. 

I have a Excel in which some cells have STRIKEOUT text. I can find the cells where the whole cell text is STRIKEOUT by using the advise of the below post.Recognize "strikethrough" in cells | CommunityBut the cells which have STRIKEOUT text and normal text are not recognized. I need to exclude the STRIKEOUT text and work further with NON STIKEOUT text, even if both are in one cell. The first record I can find and exclude but the third record STRIKEOUT is not recognized. Is there a way I can only read NON STIKEOUT text if it is included with STIKEOUT text?The STIKEOUT text could also be part of a sentence like: abcdefghijek mno pgrs tuvwxyzwhere pqrs should be left out.

Hi !I have an image in my documents folder and I need to add it into excel on a specific cell. I saw a training available, but it uses an image fetcher. image fetcher cant be used with a folder path.Looking for inspiration as I have hit several walls.Thoughts?Thanks, in advanced.   

Hi.I just had a job on our FME server 2022.2.2 go haywire.When reading from one or more database tables, it suddenly spews out a _lot_ of error messages, repeating the same two lines from line 319 to line 865997 (on page 1734):Microsoft SQL Server Spatial Reader: An internal error has occurred. Please visit http://www.safe.com/supportMicrosoft SQL Server Spatial Reader: Failed to parse datetime, attribute set as nullWhat gives ? Should I be concerned ?I've occasionally encountered huge log files before, but haven't had any idea why. Next time I'll see if it's the same issue.The job took several minutes (as opposed to normally a handful of seconds) to finish, which is not good.Cheers.

Hi,  Has anyone else noticed that when you use an attribute creator in your model, or renamer, or in your manager where you reuse an existing field, it works perfectly in your model but is not transferred when you write it to your shapefile? I always have to use a separate creator at the end This used to be no problem at all. I am now using 2025.2, but I had already noticed this in version 1.

I followed the procedure for silent installation of FME Form 2023.2, but without succcess. Here is the command I write in the console, with Admin rights :fme-form-2023.2-b23764-win-x64.exe -d"C:\\FME\\installer" -s -sp"/qn /norestart" The fme-form Logfile which is created notes a successful installation in the end:Product: FME Form 2023.2 (Build 23764 - win64) -- Installation completed successfully. However, I cannot find the software installed... No shortcut and no program in the default C:\\Programs\\FME.Could you explain why the installation is not finished?

I am in the process of automating feature service creation and uploads to AGOL. We have built this process in FME 2023.2.2 and it works as intended. After updating to FME Form and Flow 2025.2, I am getting this error message (see below) when trying to create a fGDB by importing an XML schema created just upstream from the fGDB writer. I have updated my AcrPro to 3.6.0 and made sure that the Python Compatibility is set to ESRI ArcGIS Python 3.13. I have confirmed that the XML is valid by importing it into a working fGDB in ArcPro, and that it is finished being created before the attempt to create the fGDB. The ArcObjects error number points me towards the article linked below, which tells me I have a spatial reference issue, so I am not sure what the actual resolution could be. I am overwriting the spatial resolution in the XML to reflect the state plane coordinate system the potential project will be located in, which was never an issue with previous FME versions. In the Esri ArcGIS Portal Feature Service I can reference a Feature Service in the parameters with the service name and an ide.g.But in the Esri ArcGIS Feature Service it’s not possible without a group? Is this correct?Is there some secret syntax i’m missing?

I was following this article where i tried to create a WMS service. Everything works as expected in FME form. Using the OGC WMS (Web Map Service) reader i am able to trigger both workspaces and get the result as expected , in my fme server jobs i also see that 2 GetCapabilities.fmw workspaces are ran and 1 getPNG.fmw workspace. I tried importing the same WMS url into ArcGIS Online but i see that only the GetCapabilities.fmw workspace is ran and not the getPNG.fmw workspace. Does anyone have some idea over why the getPNG.fmw workspace is not triggerd by the ArcGIS Online client? Thanks in advance,Keller.

I am trying to create a webservice to access Sharepoint. FME has been registered in Azure but when I try to set up the connection the conditional access policy blocks my connection.It looks like it has something to do with the way the http user client provides info to Azure. With the FME default http user agent you just get a blocking error, with the system default http user agent you get this: It looks like the http User agent does not provide the device ID (apparaat-id): Not available (niet beschikbaar). The conditional access policy demands a registrered device so it blocks this connection.I can make a Azure connection directly from Chrome or Edge in other apps. what is the way to a solution for this problem? 

I have a workspace that works without issues in FME 2024.2.1. We are planning to upgrade to FME 2025, but I am facing issues. When riunning the workspace in FME 2025, it seems to work fine, but after a while I get lots of a recurring message like this one:2025-06-02 11:38:25| 119.2|  0.2|ERROR |FFS reader: Failed to open file 'D:\FMETemp\wbrun_1748852462857_30000\fmetmp_0\FMETable_1748853274266_18156\FTShim_1019.fts' for reading.  Please ensure that the file exists and you have sufficient privileges to read itThese messages DO NOT appear when running the workspace in FME Form/Flow 2024.2.1I have tried FME Form/Flow 2025.0.2 and FME Form 2025.1 (beta) and all of these fails.I have set my FME_TMP environment variable to D:\FMETempDoes anyone have an idea?

Hello,I seem to be outputting multiple folders when I run my app through data stream or data download.Tried connecting all connections to one feature writer but it seems to be limiting me to one excel file if I do that so I did multiple feature writers for each excel file that I want.Tested running my app through data download and data stream and it outputs multiple folders - one folder per feature writer.Was wondering if I am able to simply download all excel files right away without putting them into a folder or just output them all into one folder.Screenshot below.Feature writers under Microsoft excel format. Basically 2 sheet type. 1 is based on a value and other is count sheetNot much configuring except the name of the excel, sheet names, and drop/truncate both yesHere’s an example of what it outputs - 4 Folders(I suppose 1 folder for a specific feature writer) 

I need to assign a z-value to 2d points snapped along a 3d line.My steps  anchoredsnapper to snap the 2d points to 3d lineChopper to extract the vertex of  3d line create vertex of 3d lineNeighborFinder to find the closed vetex (of 3d line) to my 2d points   but now the question is how can be sure that the nearest vertex belong to the lines where my points are snapped ?  In red a point without z value but if I increase the maximun distance of NeighborFinder the risk is to assign the wrong z value (I mean the z value of the other line) So at the end my goal is to assign the z value to the points starting from the line where these points are snapped  (sorry for bad explanation...) thx for support Francesco
