LAUTEC with FME

This is interesting! 
I believe LAUTEC DPR has an API, but I cant seem to find any documentation. If they do have an API, the HTTPCaller is the place to start: call the endpoint with your API token, then use the JSONFragmenter to turn the response into features.

If an API isn’t available, a few other routes could work:

• CSV/Excel export: read it straight into FME Form with the CSV or Excel reader. 
• PDF export: DPR reports follow a fixed template, so text and tables can be pulled out with a PythonCaller (e.g. pdfplumber) or the StringSearcher.
• Automating it daily: if the reports can be emailed, an FME Flow Automation with an Email trigger can save the attachment and pass it to your workspace each time a new report arrives. A Directory Watch trigger does the same for files exported to a shared folder.
