FME Form

Hi, I have a geopackage with 5 million polygons, some of which are duplicated, but with geometry that isn't exactly the same. In the image below the dark red’s polygones means there duplicates.I trying with transfomer matcher  with this set It works but not all polygones duplicates are deleted. I got something like this I know that at some point some polygons won't be able to be deleted because the geometry is too different.Maybe in can set the tolerance in 4 or more, but i thinkAny idea if it can be done?Thanks

I am trying to update approximately 10 attribute fields in a point layer in AGOL using FME.  When I run the script, it keeps failing and I’m not sure where the hang-up is based on the warning and error messages I am getting.  Below is what I keep getting once my script has failed, with the ones in red being the error messages (the last two bullet points):  Feature Caching is ON The workspace may run slower because features are being output and recorded on all output ports regardless of whether or not there is a connection. Hi,I’m trying to apply a schema from excel to 2D utility lines so that it applies the schema to the lines and creates 3D pipes of the same size, also adding the metadata.I have an idea of how to put this together, however am struggling to select the right information from the excel and make it dynamic.Example: If find ‘water’ in dwg, then apply a 200mm pipe to the center and add ‘water’, metadata1, metadata2 as attributes to the line. Thanks in advance!

Hello,​I need to print my workbench on size A0. It works fine for size A2 and smaller but for size A0 or A1 the workbench freezes or crashes. I tried with different workbenches , different Pc's and different PDF-creators but no success. I use FME 2019.1.Maybe someone has an idea to solve the problem?​

Hello FME Experts,I'm currently working with road network spatial data, which contains a multitude of line features representing roads. Each road feature intersects with others, and I need to determine the correct start and end names for each road segment (i.e., the names of the roads at the start and end nodes).I'm wondering if there's an efficient way to accomplish this using FME. Specifically, I'm looking for guidance on:How to identify the start and end nodes of each road segment. Hi,I am creating some admin areas which feature multiple islands within each admin areas.I am using the Aggregator to group the areas, and that is looking fine in the Inspector.When I come to write these features to an esri ArcGIS Portal Feature Service, I receive the following error:<type 'fmeobjects.FMEAggregate'> cannot be converted to esriGeometryPolygonI am building Homogeneous Collections where possible, but even the admin areas that are made up of a single contiguous area have "fme_aggregate" as "the fme_geometry(string)" attribute in the inspector.

I am trying to bring in some files that are dgn/bentley related (cit and nm1) and I can’t figure out how to read these files or view them. I found in a search this site that says how to read a .cit file but I can’t find this or how to view these?https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME-Form-Documentation/FME-ReadersWriters/ingr/ingr.htmI do not see this INGR in my lists or anything when I put in reader format .cit 

It may be beneficial to have some sort of limitation stopping brand new members from including external weblinks in their first post/ within the first day that the account is created. If the advertisement/bots become more of an issue, then something like that may help mitigate the problem without being overly limiting on legitimate users.

i have Revit Model prototypes that have multiple Locations (4 types of villas to be located on 500 parcels) and need to separate/produce each Location from each prototype into a single Revit model. Can we do that using FME/ETL tools?

Hi! I am currently stuck on this: There is a FME model that is functioning in the FME tool.The input field for tree symbology is a user public parameter, it’s linked to the attribute to filter in attributefilter.When I try to import the FME tools to ArcGIS Pro, I found that no matter what I input to the user parameters, they can’t be passed to the FME model, which causing the attribute filter to export <Missing> values: (I think that’s because the filter is not reading the attribute name correctly, which is the user parameter I defined)  the FME model is input as spatial ETL tools in ArcGIS pro.Here comes the problem: I keep the same input REMARKS, however the input parameter is not passed to attributefilter correctly in ArcGIS Pro. (In FME tools it’s working fine) To solve this I have tried:set the FME user parameter type as ‘attribute name’ or ‘text’ → both of them are shown as string parameter when import to ArcGIS Pro as spatial ETL tool put the spatial ETL tool into ArcGIS P

FME(R) 2021.1.0.0 (20210630 - Build 21607 - WIN64) I run 3 readers all with sql statements, the output writes to Oracle in 1 table. Ik never had problems (fme 2020) but with version 2021 I get an error : 2021-07-27 11:33:03| 142.5| 0.0|FATAL |An error occurred. Hi,I am a very basic Flow/Server user, but handy enough at Form/Desktop. My company recently upgraded from 2022 to 2023. I have noticed after the change a few of my workspaces no longer have their description appearing online and I can’t work out why this wouldn’t.For example, in the workspace description I would usually put a basic description or some instructions. I then publish it to Flow, and it used to be that the description would be in the online interface. Does anyone know what’s going on and how I can make this reappear?It used to appear here:The workspace does have a description:

Hi!Does anyone know what this means? I have been struggeling with it for the past week, and for the first time it actually goes trough a couple of 1000 features, but it stops again at like 2000. also, it doenst really give me the reason why it failed. if it is the 928… Code, i did some research on it, but could find it.I am not sure what i am doing wrong, i dit it quite much in the past, but maybe it has changed with the newer versions. This is what i am trying to do:ArcGIS Online Reader. Add data, like weather and difficulty ArcGIS Online writer, update the existing layer.If someone could help me, that would be great! Thanks! Jonathan

Hello,I have a workbench, which when published to FME Server - is not updating the data, rather - I am getting the cached data.  Is there any way that when I publish the workbench to FME server- can I use the option of “Rerun Entire Workspace” rather than “Run Workspace”. Please find the below snapshot of the options in workbench :    Also, want to mention that - when I did ran the workbench in FME Desktop - it updates the data only when I use the option “Rerun Entire Workspace”, but when I use the option “Run Workspace” - I am seeing the cached data. Please let me know If I am missing anything.

Hello togetherI have a network with lines and points and i want to join the lines on specific points.In the picture you can see the network. Now i want to combine/aggregate the lines between the big green points. In the end i want to have 3 lines: C4 → A1, B5 → A1 and A1 → A2 I tried a couple of transfomers: Intersector, TopologyBuilder, SpatialRelator, NeighborFinder etc, but couldnt find a solution. Does someone have an idea? Thanks!

Hi all,i’m building an FME desktop workspace for eventual use with a server automation. we’re taking some emails, parsing them for some specific data, reading text files with additional information, and then putting it all together to be sent out via an API for a software called Desk Alerts.Where i am running into issues is - the text files are UTF-8 encoded and contain line feeds and tabs that the API isn’t happy with.so for instance i might have a message that looks like: now you can see i’ve got 4 tabs and almost 20 line feeds.this text is actually the combined result of several files and the content is variable so for readability’s sake maintaining the line feeds (and preferably the tabs) is paramount.When sending to the API, i get the following error response: {"status":"Error","errorMessage":"Request model invalid","data":{"validationErrors":["[queryParam] : The queryParam field is required.","[$.body] : '0x0A' is invalid within a JSON string. Hey FME Community!I'm working on a project where I need to write logfile "ERROR" messages to a database attribute table. Specifically, I want to capture the time of writing data whenever an error occurs, and then collect that error information into the database attribute table.I'm wondering if anyone has experience or suggestions on how best to achieve this within FME. Are there any transformers or workflows you've used successfully for similar tasks?
