I'm having trouble with the backupconfiguration task, as it doesn't run correctly. I've configured my FME Server for HTTPS and the backupconfiguration log file is still showing the unsecure url. How do i fix this?

With FME Server 2016, I licensed with a temporary license, but now I want to put the permanent license, and the web page Engines & Licensing don´t show the button necessary. Look below:

Hi,We have many schedules with FME Server. I disable a schedule in http://.../fmeserver/schedules but the job starts anyway. If i restart the windows service, the job is not started.May be there is a glitch in subprocess of scheduler. How to fix this issue ?Thx

Hi,I am new to FME Server and have been experimenting with creating email notifications when a job succeeds or fails. I have done this in two ways for the one workspace:1. Using the FMEServerEmailGenerator within the workspace:2. Applying Notification Settings while setting a scheduled time for the workspace to run in FME Server:When I run the workspace unscheduled and it fails, the failure email that is sent seems to change - sometimes it is the one that I set up using Method 1, and sometimes the one that I created in when subscribing to notifications in Method 2. Can someone please explain the difference between the two methods, and when one method takes priority over another method?Thanks,

Good morning, in FME Server by default there are notifications for JOB_FAILURE and JOB_SUCCESS and I wonder if is possible to create a notification for JOB_SUBMITTER. Hello,since a few weeks I'm not able anymore to publish workbenches on FME Server.The error message is: Login failed (Proxy Error) - Ensure that proxy configuration is correct, and that the proxy is accessbile. The FME Server URL, Username and Password are definitly correct. Other users can connect to it from other computers. In the past I could up- and download too, but since a few weeks the error message occurs. My computer hasn't changed. I can access the FME Server via Browser with the URL.How can I solve this issue?ThanksLana

We are using FME server 2017.0. I am following this article https://s3.amazonaws.com/gitbook/Server-Admin-2017/ServerAdmin4Scalability/4.03.ChangingDatabaseProviderForFMEServerDatabase.html, chapeter 4 exercise 2 to change the FME database provider – from the default to, – not to a PostgreSQL, but to an Oracle12c database. I ran the Oracle scripts to create a FMESERVER user and installed the FME objects. After I changed the fmeCommonConfig.txt (see below) and restarted the FME server, I can not login the web UI using my previous logins. I can login admin/admin, but the contents are pretty much blank. I have no option to import the previously exported fsconfig file. I have to restore the original fmeCommonConfig.txt to go back the working FME server. Hello!I have a question about the usage of Notifications for FME Server 2016. I created a Notification with a Publication and a Subscription. The Publication is working and collects the attachments of e-mails in a dedicated folder. From there a Workspace should be triggered to start reading the folder paths, making use of de FileDirectory Reader and process the files that are read. For the triggering of the Workspace a Subscription is created and for some reason, it does not work or does not work all the time. In some cases the restarting of FME Server can help but this is obviously not a solution.The Workspace that is triggered does not have a JSON-reader. In Tutorials I saw a JSON-reader was part of the solution to trigger a Workspace. In the example parameters of the e-mail were read and would be handy to read for example e-mail parameters. Since these parameters are not needed, as all the information comes from the files read using the FileDirectory Reader, I am using a simple Cr

Hello,  We have a number of FME Server Subscriptions setup which have just stopped working after a certain period. If you create another subscription with the same details then it works fine. They are all email subscriptions.  I've checked the log file and I can't see anything wrong with it... does anyone know what might be causing it or how I can monitor it?  Thank you,  Peter.

Hello,I am using FME Server 2016.1 and I need to reference a folder named "farms:. I have added that into the config file and it appears in my resources list, no problem. However, the issue I am having is that I cannot run any workspace when I select the file for processing. If the files are put in other resources like data/myfiles, there is no issue. I need to detect if there is a mismatch in the number of polylines that adjoin each other. For example one polyline in the middle, four either side (or it could be any number of mismatches: 3-2-3 for example. Polylines aren't snapped together; it's for a powerline project so it's not a requirement.I can group the lines together and assign them grouped id's together using the attached process. One final point; I only need to calculate the relationship of polylines that have 'neighbours' on either side and not on polylines with only one set of 'neighbours' (see below)

Hi allI've had a read of related topics and still need some clarification. What I'd like to do is kick off a jobsubmitter service via http POST and use the file uploaded (csv or shape file) via the POST as the source data for the reader in the service. I'm testing using Postman and this is what I'm trying to post:This article states that you can't use form-data in the body, only raw data. Does this mean the method I'm using won't work or has someone managed to get it to work? If this is possible, how do you set the FME Cloud location the file upload will be uploaded to?If this method is not possible, I was thinking of using the upload service to upload the file then run the workspace when the upload arrives in the destination folder in FME Cloud (kick off process via notifications).Any other suggestions would be most welcome.ThanksRob

I know that you can route a workspace in a schedule to use a specific engine, and I know that you can append "tm_tag=fast" to the end of a URL to do the same, but how do you specify a tag when the user runs a workspace in the Run dialog page? I can't expect the user to understand that they have to add "tm_tag=fast" to the URL, they just run the workspace.Thanks

I changed the FME Server token MAX_EXPIRATION parameter to 20 years based on the steps outlined in this help page: https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/919/setting-the-maximum-expiration-for-fme-token-servi.htmlHowever, the token that I set a month ago has now changed to a new token. I have two questions:1. Is it valid to set the MAX_EXPIRATION parameter greater than two years as the above article suggests?2. Is changing the token the desired behaviour by FME Server? I would expect that when a token expires it simply becomes invalid, and does not create a new token.I am using FME Server 2016.1.3.1.Thanks

Documentation for SECURITY_LOGIN_TYPE in FME Server 2016 says:"Identifies the authentication (login) method to use: database, activedirectory, or custom"What does "custom" mean? We would like to user Active Directory AND database authentication if possible. This would allow us to create users with passwords that don't expire, unlike with Active Directory account.Thanks
