Shall we consider installing a Graphic card while preparing a machine for FME Form installation. How a Graphic Card impacts on the performance of 3D / 2D data processing.

We have not been successful in setting up a web connection for our GCP environment.  Therefore, we use JSON key files.Has worked just fine via a PythonCaller to read the file and fill in GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS.  If we had a need to write to a different GCP project we would change the project_id in the JSON file.However, we were contacted by billing recently saying that since we use the project in our JSON file that another area was getting billed instead of our ETL project.We tried to fully qualify using the project id and then the schema in the writer, but that did not work.  It always assumes that you are writing to the project in the JSON file.Is there a way around this issue?

Hi all, Since upgrading to FME 2021, I have found previous workspaces that were working in 2020 are now not working. This appears to be when multiple datasets are referenced in a WorkspaceRunner and through a user parameter. It concatenates the filepaths together and loses the double quotes and separation, causing the reader to fail. Any help would be appreciated. Kind regards,Jack  

I want to use the AzureServiceBusConnector to get the messages from the Queue.But if there are no messages in the queue I want to end the FME Job after 1 minute. Is there a way to terminate the process only if the queue is still waiting.If the AzureServiceBus connector reads the expected amount of messages I don't want to get an error, only if it's waiting for nothing.

Hello please I need help. I converted my Autocad Map 3D files to integrate them into my database using the 'Raw relational' mode because my data has multiple tables and one entity with several attributes. Currently, I would like to convert them back into Autocad Map files while preserving the original file structure. I'm stuck because I can't recreate my different tables (Table A and Table B). What should I do?

Hi,We have an assignment where we are using FME Form 2024 version to convert a DGN file to a GIS format. For us to do it, the design file (DGN) needs to be reprojected and scaled to Web Mercator coordinates. I am not a designer, but a developer and learning about the DGN files as I go. The designers using Bentley’s Micro station tool.Using MicroStation V8 reader, reads the “Name” associated with the coordinate system, which is a free form field and can contain a name that the project designer puts in manually and is not a standard naming conversion.We are trying to read more information from the properties of the coordinate systems like the “Description”, “Affine parameters”.  The description field contains standardized naming that we could use since it is not editable by the project designer. The Affine parameters define the scale factor that will be used to convert from ground to grid coordinates.Need help in identifying how this can be read through the MicroStation reader or any oth

Hi I’m interested in using MQTT connector to retrieve IOT messages and then publish to ArcGIS Online. Hello,My FME FORM 2023.2 recently has been updated to FME 2024 without my notice. And the new version installed was incomplete, so I can not use FME entirely.I did not see any option for auto updating in the FME software itself, did I miss anything? How to disable the auto updating?My IT team said they did not push out the upgrade. Can any one help please? or direct me to where I might get help?Thanks. 

Hi,I would like to populate the "public.pdl_steg" table in PostgreSQL/PostGis with features from a "pdls" shapefile layer. public.pdl_steg includes triggers in some fields.The id_pdls field is of the serial type.The code_pdls field is unique.   The triggers work well in PostGis et QGIS. Shapefile “pdls” table:However, after several attempts, I was unable to add the features from the "pdls" layer to "public.pdl_steg". The execution does not emit any errors and nothing happens.Any help is welcome.

Hi,I am just wondering if you know the way to get the list of the layers that are chosen in particular Layer List widget in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder. After upgrading to ArcGIS Pro 3.0.3 i get the above error when writing to an Esri Geodatabase (File Geodb). Does anyone know what the reason could be? I've also upgraded to FME 2022.2. Thanks in advance! 

Hey,  I have FME Server running great, my workbenches are running fine on schedules etc.  I have several that are 'job submitters', and I am now trying to use the mobile app to trigger them manually, each time I connect to my server, navigate to my Repository and open the workbench, I click "Run Workspace" and I am immediately thrown an error: Failed to submit job. Error: 404 I am not finding any help articles etc, has anyone seen this issue before?

Is it somehow possible to receive a connection from another party using OAuth2?Do I need to add a specific user to the user list? Do I need to create an application?Could it be done using a webhook or an automation? Or should i build a webhook or automation and use that as a trigger to connect to another location using OAuth2? The other party does not want to send data to my FME Server without using OAuth as a security measure.

Our goal is to write files on Sharepoint. Therefore, we used the Sharepoint Online Connector transformer, whereat the connection to Sharepoint works fine, but we currently have the following issue: The specific site we want to connect to does not show in the sites list within the transformer. We already checked the rights, but everything looks correct. What are the preconditions that a specific site is listed in the site list and can be used by the Sharepoint Online Connector transformer? 

My customer want me to automate a report how many times diffrent map services has been reqested.It’s on a unfederated arcgis server with arcgis server manger.In arcgisserver manager i can export this information one by one to a csv file and get how many times a service has been requested in a set time period.I need to find a way to automate this process. Is it possible to retrieve this statistics using FME and then print it to an Excel file? Then on FME-server I need to get a report every month how many times diffrenbt map services has been used. 

I have upgraded FME Workbench to FME:FORM  FME(R) 2023.0.1.0 (20230630 - Build 23332 - WIN64) In the previous version, when I wanted to review the written data in a file I simply clicked on the icon to View Written Data and the data would load in the preview window,However, since I upgraded to FME:FORM, every time I want to review the written data in a table, I have fo go through the following steps, even when the qualified table name is already present.  I have done this, saved the workbench and come back and still had to follow the below steps.  In fact, if I go to another area in the workbench and try to review written data I have to repeat these steps.  Is this a bug or a feature.Click on the View Written Data icon Select Dataset to ViewClick on Parameters buttonUnder Constraints specifiy the tabke from a dropdown (even if the qualified table is already listed) 

Hi,I’ve been working on a pretty large export workbench.The subject is related to real estate. We’ve got a relational database and we drill into about 20 external layers to get some info and to filter our own data.The workbench has grown a lot over time and now it’s really hard to maintain or yet expand. I’m afraid it might break anywhere.Are there best practices on how to go about many processing jobs ?Is it sometimes best to split a workbench into several separate workbenches ? If yes, how to structure the processing parts ?Where to start the cleaning up chore ?

Is it possible to define the mandatory nature of a user parameter according to the value entered for another parameter?For example, if the first parameter is checked, then the second must be filled in. Otherwise, the second parameter is not mandatory.Thanks for your help

I have made the same project for 3 years the same way and I’m running into an issue now. I’m using the AGOL Feature Service Reader to read a feature layer that’s hosted on AGOL. I’m attempting to read the attribute table and filter/edit some data from the different features using tester and attributemanager, the goal is to eventually write the data out to excel spreadsheets.  The problem is that it doesn’t have any of the updates made were made on ArcGIS Online/ArcGIS Pro. I have inspectors that are editing the feature layer and myself with ArcGIS Pro via Portal. I can see the changes made online and in ArcGIS Pro when I view the attribute tables, however when I read the data in FME it only has the original state when the data was first uploaded to AGOL.  I have made sure that editing is enabled in the Settings of the Feature Layer. I’ve attempted to re-authenticate my AGOL credentials within FME and I’ve reviewed the source data path multiple times to make sure it’s grabbing the corre

In the new version FME Form 2023.2.2 it no longer finds the intervall submodule from Pandas, although it is present in the installation path. Somehow the application has been removed/deleted from the server and we can't launch FME app: 1- If we have to reinstall it, do we need to uninstall first? 2- How do i download "FME Desktop Database Edition - Fixed" for Red Hat linux (release 8.9 (Ootpa)) from https://engage.safe.com/support/downloads ? 

Hi,I am trying to publish a elevation mosaic dataset as a elevation layer to portal but it is rendering as imagery layer. The sd draft created in the script does not allow me to set Lerc as compression and the default is PNG8.Can anybody help with ArcPy publishing for elevation services ?
