HelloRecently, I encountered some problems when using FME. I would like to ask for your help.The osgb file I wrote with FME does not open properly with Acute3D Viewer.No matter any osgb file, I can open it with Acute3D Viewer and rotate, zoom and so on before conversion. But when I read this osgb file with FME and write a new osgb file. This newly written osgb file can't rotate and zoom in Acute3D Viewer, etc. Once these operations are done, Acute3D Viewer will crash.How can I solve this problem?Source data, results data and workspace are in the annex.

Hi this started for me last year when I wanted a way to remain organized attending several FME WT events with all the Safer teams and where they were and when etc. I have updated the script to read the list of sites from the Safe.com list and circles back and grabs the Safers at each (using the alt_tags if i recall) and insert them into the calendar event description.My question for @fmelizard & @mikael_sweco and is:1) Can the community please figure out a way to insert the solve the Safer team names ? Orchid, Scrubby Bubbles etc2) Can the community make the calendar events shown as colors hint: might be something like "CATEGORIES:Blue Category" in the event blocks.3) Can we have this as a FME WT calendar exporter for next year on bluesky?I didn't follow or find an .ics dataspec here I just mimicked something that worked. please feel free to extend and maybe we can park it in Hub.idea spark

Hello, i have just installed FME 2019 on my Macbook.When i attempt to launch the Workbench or Data inspector i get the following error message, does any one know what the issue could be and how i can resolve it: LSOpenURLsWithRole() failed for the application /Library/FME/2019.0/Apps/FME Workbench.app with error -10825. After installing, un-installing, and re-installing FME Server 2019, I'm unable to login to the web interface using the default credentials. The error that is returned is, "Login failed, please try again."

Hi,my plan is to show some points and lines which I have in two shapefiles in the real world via the FME AR App. It would be perfect also to tee some attributes as annoation in the result.Is there any useful tutorial or anything else to reach this goal? Examples how the shapefiles must converted that the FME AR App is happy with it?ThanksPeter

When I use an Attribute Creator to create a "copy" of an Attribute, it converts the value to an incorrect Floating-Point number. 92.7 --> 92.700000000000003. When I compare this value later, the test obviously fails. How do I ensure the correct number (or the string) is retained?

Hi I have created a workbench which provides calculations based on a test filter. I have 10 different calculations in total to perform on various attributes in the data, but want to bring all of the resultsinto one record all based on the same TOID identifier. Hi, I had a workbench with readers, writers and a few transformers, that was assembled in 2018, with the workbench configured standalone with internet access and i could not run it without the internet connection. once the desktop was provided with internet access, it ran as designed.Does anyone know if the workbench is designed to run with open ports for web access? i am confused, as the workbench version has not been updated.

Hi,Currently looking at the FME Server 2019 beta (build 19213) automations, which so much easier to understand from a publisher aspect, compared to "Notifications". However, I noticed that when you choose "triggers" or "external actions" such as sending an email, you need to fill out all the configuration details each time? There is a copy-paste option in a single automation, but that doesn't seem to work between automations.Maybe that could also look differently, allowing users to have private/public actions and triggers (e.g. like connections in FME Desktop)Also, if a one configuration is used multiple times (and all these get different id in the current setup based on the json responses I am seeing), how do you update a single email (or any other trigger or action) configuration in the UI. Hello. I have 2 shapefiles that I want to overlap.The first one is already the output of overlapped one, but the _overlaps count is not always same. I need to intersect the second shapefile with the first one and take only the intersected part (attributes from first). I am trying area on area overlayer again, but since the _overlaps count vary, the output is not as per required. How else can it be done? Any ideas.Thanks.

When I use the Workspacerunner for 2446 features with 7 concurrent fme processes and 10 workspaces per fme process the last 6 features are never processed. I tried to delete and re-create the Workspacerunner, but no success. Does this mean the total number of features to process should be dividable by the number of workspaces per fme process? That would be awkward.

Hi,I have an esri shape layer with point, the points represent a road and have a direction. Every point has the attribute "location". This attribute has the values "0" ; "1" ; "2". I want to create for every point an offset in a right angle to the direction of the road.location = 0 ==> no offestlocation = 1 ==> left offsetlocation = 2 ==> right offset I want to store the result as shape file.Has somebody some ideas how I can manage my workbench?Thanks and best regards.

i tried converting GML to 3dtiles using fme workbench 2018.The conversion was successful.But there was a data loss in the resultant 3d tiles.I have level of detail values in the gml data.But there are no level of details in the converted 3d tiles.Why they are absent in the tileset.

I have an urgent question regarding the transformer "NeighborhoodAggregator".The following numbers are used for the width and height which are equivalent to 0.0316897 (mile).I also used 2D Gridder to visualize the width and height and it looks like the following image. My question is that how come my 2 points which are 0.0316897 (mile) apart, do not get aggregated. I am using EPSG:4326 for my coordinate system. By the way, what is the difference between doing buffer/dissolve compared to using NeighborhoodAggregator?

Using the FeatureReader to load data. The source is coming from an email. I have set up FeatureReader to generate a output port with the attributes from a previous data source that has the same file name and attributes. But in subsequent load, the name of the file changed so FeatureReader didn't run. If I use generic port, I would have to expose the attributes but I have 16 workbenches I would have to edit (each FeatureReader is for a different data type).So is there a way to modify the original data source to be named the same during the running of the workspace to match what is in the workspace? or should I just suck it up and expose the attributes? or is there something else I can try?

Howdy,I've just run an inspector on a reader. Trying to get a visual feel for how the data looks before I put it through an attribute manager. Turns out this is feature type has a lot of features in it, and its taking ages for the inspector to return anything. Is there a way the inspector can just return top n features? If not could you build one?Thanks!Dan x

Hello,Does anyone have experience automating the download of data packages from the BC Data Catalogue (https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset?download_audience=Public)? There are dozens of provincial datasets I would like to automate the download of on a weekly basis to keep the data updated for my organization, the problem is that they require submitting a AOI (or mapsheet) and an email before receiving the zipped data package in an email.Thanks!
