Hello,We have an Application Server which is in VB6 and used FME 2008 (Visual Basic 6.0 DLL). Now we are upgrading to use FME Platform 2019 (we chose C# DLL). Our Problem is: FME 2019 C# DLL is not COM visible and hence we are not able to access from our Application Server (which is in VB6). How to resolve this problem? means how to access FME 2019 C# DLL from our Application Server which is in VB6?Regards,Rajesh

We have had a security team identify an exploit for FlexNet 11.15 where the path to the lmgrd.exe executable is not quoted and has spaces in the path.I tried to put quotes around the path the the lmgrd.exe but the lmtools application stated "The lmgrd.exe file does not exist where specified". Is there a way to quote the string and have it function, or should I reinstall the LM into a location without spaces as a workaround?

I am new to FME and Elastic search. I am trying to setup elasticsearch reader in FME. I have clicked on reader and set elastic search server, index , type_list and gave username and password. But on cliking ok, I am not able to see the reader on the workspace canvas. I am not able to move forward from this point. I have to get the data from Elasticsearch cloud into Fme desktop. Please help me in progessing further. Any example of loading data from Elastic search cloud to FME desktop would help a lot.

I'd like to be able to use a calculated value (max(myfield)) in a reader where clause i.e. where myfield2 > max(myfield). Is there a way to do this, or is there a better transformer/workflow to use?

FME has mentioned that FME 2011 is not supported for Windows Server 2012 R2 does this mean any issues will not be supported by FME or FME 2011 is not compatible with Windows server 2012 r2.

I would like to ask for your help.The osgb file I wrote with FME does not open properly with Acute3D Viewer.No matter any osgb file, I can open it with Acute3D Viewer and rotate, zoom and so on before conversion. But when I read this osgb file with FME and write a new osgb file. This newly written osgb file can't rotate and zoom in Acute3D Viewer, etc. Once these operations are done, Acute3D Viewer will crash.How can I solve this problem?Source data, results data and workspace are in the annex.

Hi this started for me last year when I wanted a way to remain organized attending several FME WT events with all the Safer teams and where they were and when etc. I have updated the script to read the list of sites from the Safe.com list and circles back and grabs the Safers at each (using the alt_tags if i recall) and insert them into the calendar event description.My question for @fmelizard & @mikael_sweco and is:1) Can the community please figure out a way to insert the solve the Safer team names ? Hi,my plan is to show some points and lines which I have in two shapefiles in the real world via the FME AR App. It would be perfect also to tee some attributes as annoation in the result.Is there any useful tutorial or anything else to reach this goal? When I use an Attribute Creator to create a "copy" of an Attribute, it converts the value to an incorrect Floating-Point number. 92.7 --> 92.700000000000003. When I compare this value later, the test obviously fails. How do I ensure the correct number (or the string) is retained?

Hi, I had a workbench with readers, writers and a few transformers, that was assembled in 2018, with the workbench configured standalone with internet access and i could not run it without the internet connection. once the desktop was provided with internet access, it ran as designed.Does anyone know if the workbench is designed to run with open ports for web access? i am confused, as the workbench version has not been updated.

Hi,Currently looking at the FME Server 2019 beta (build 19213) automations, which so much easier to understand from a publisher aspect, compared to "Notifications". However, I noticed that when you choose "triggers" or "external actions" such as sending an email, you need to fill out all the configuration details each time? There is a copy-paste option in a single automation, but that doesn't seem to work between automations.Maybe that could also look differently, allowing users to have private/public actions and triggers (e.g. like connections in FME Desktop)Also, if a one configuration is used multiple times (and all these get different id in the current setup based on the json responses I am seeing), how do you update a single email (or any other trigger or action) configuration in the UI. Hello. I have 2 shapefiles that I want to overlap.The first one is already the output of overlapped one, but the _overlaps count is not always same. I need to intersect the second shapefile with the first one and take only the intersected part (attributes from first). I am trying area on area overlayer again, but since the _overlaps count vary, the output is not as per required. How else can it be done? Any ideas.Thanks.

When I use the Workspacerunner for 2446 features with 7 concurrent fme processes and 10 workspaces per fme process the last 6 features are never processed. I tried to delete and re-create the Workspacerunner, but no success. Does this mean the total number of features to process should be dividable by the number of workspaces per fme process? That would be awkward.
