I do not know if FME 2011 is able to run on Windows Server 2012 R2, but that version of FME is officially considered retired and is no longer supported. This means that if FME 2011 does not work properly on your machines, you are pretty much on your own.

Officially, only the last 4 major revisions of FME are supported by Safe, see the bottom of this page for more details:

https://www.safe.com/support/product-support-policy/

That said, is there a particular reason for using such an old version of FME? Newer versions are backwards compatible and should be able to run all your existing workspaces just fine.

It is possible to install e.g. FME 2019 in a separate directory for testing, without losing your existing installation of FME 2011.

Hi David,

Thanks for your inputs, so as per you we should be able to use our 2011 workbenches with newer versions without much rework?

Thanks,

Siva.S

Yes, that's the principle of backwards compatibility in FME. It should not be necessary to modify your old workspaces to make them run in e.g. FME 2019.
