Windows Unquoted Search Path for FlexNet 11.15

We have had a security team identify an exploit for FlexNet 11.15 where the path to the lmgrd.exe executable is not quoted and has spaces in the path.

I tried to put quotes around the path the the lmgrd.exe but the lmtools application stated "The lmgrd.exe file does not exist where specified". Is there a way to quote the string and have it function, or should I reinstall the LM into a location without spaces as a workaround?
