Hello,I use FME to transform data in S-57 format (the native format of our databases) into more traditional formats, in particular shapefiles. The database export is therefore in S-57 format (extension .000), with the classes and attributes present for the ENCs, but this model is enriched with additional attributes and classes. This can be done by modifying the files s57attributes.csv, s57objectclasses.csv and s57expectedinput.csv in the directory $FME_HOME/s57 (Custom Object Classes File and Custom Attributes File). These files are also useful for correctly displaying additional attributes and classes in QGis (in the directory C:\\Program Files<QGIS>\\share\\gdal). While in QGis an S-57 file with additional classes and attributes is displayed correctly, this is not the case in FME.For additional classes: some are handled correctly, others generate an error when read and you can't go further in the processing (there are also cases where the class seems to be ignored, without

ERROR |HTTPCaller (HTTPFactory): [1]: HTTP transfer error: SSL connect error.When I run a ws with a http-caller on a Remote desktop (and FME-server) I get the fault.When I run the same ws with a http-caller local it runs well (but very slow).There is no firewall issue running on the remote desktop and running on the fme-server.  Why do I get this error? and why is the same workspace running well lacally?Are there steps I can take to locate and solve this fault/message.

I want to put the coordinate value in the obj file modeled on the 3D building in FME Desktop and print it out as a City gml file. I'm going to upload the printed file to the website of 'CESIUM ION'. I'm curious about how to put the exact coordinate value and print out City gml and upload it. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me the process sequentially. 😂

I have a requirement to read from a service that is published to ArcGIS Portal but I need to read from a historic moment based on the last run time of my workspace. If I were able to access the database directly, I could query the archive tables. However, I need a solution that will read the service. There is an idea which requests this functionality, but so far, this doesn't appear to have been implemented. Is there a workaround for this?  I'm using 2022.2.2

I have the 2023 beta and authored a workspace that I would like to use in your latest official version (2022.2.5) which came out after. It looks like a number of updates that were in the beta are also in the official one. Before I try to open my beta workspace in 2022.2.5, I had a few questions: If the updated transformer versions match, should the prod version accept them?What is the best way to back up or document a workspace to use in an earlier version? Any insight is appreciated, and yes, I learned my lesson.

Hi, I published a workspace to the FME Server (2018) of my client that allows to import a specific sheet of an Excel file in Postgres.But when the input file has zero feature or when the specific sheet doesn't exists, the Workspace doesn't log any error and says that translation was successfull.Of course, we could open the Excel file to check the data but this workspace is running with automatic processes.Is there a way to log an error when there are no features in the input file or when the awaited feature type (Excel sheet) not exists ?Thanks for any help.

I am trying to create a workbench which will read in the data from a table in an ArcGIS Online feature service, where the feature service is determined by input User Parameters at each run of the workbench. The output will be an excel export of the data from the ArcGIS Online feature service table. I have hundreds of different feature services, identifiable by a unique alphanumerical code and feature service ID. The aim is for the user to input the alphanumerical code for the data they want to export when running the workbench (e.g DA019). This code will act as a look up to a table that contains the feature service ID for the required data. I have then attempted to reconstruct the syntax of the AGOL connection as seen in an ArcGIS Online Feature Service Reader.E.g [AGOL Group Name]/[Feature Service Name]([feature service ID]) I then have passed that as a field called fsid_search into a Feature Reader under the 'Feature Service:' constraint. Hi, I'm trying to convert An AutoCAD(DWG) file to Esri Geodatabase with the labels (Annotation) to attributes. How can I do that?? and also if I have the Geodatabase schema, how can i convert these labels to the attributes?

I am taking a feature reader (ESRI geodatabase) and putting a feature class through an attribute manager. The feature reader shows the guid fields correctly as guid.However, the attribute manager shows them guid fields as buffer.This is happening for all guid field. I've tried "reset table" and import from dataset in the attribute manager. I've also tried recreating the attribute manager. How can I fix the attribute types to be accuate?

For example, I have a "Description" attribute, and I want to create a new attribute called "Categories". Features in the description attribute containing the word "gardening", for example, would go into the "Gardening" feature type of the new attribute.

Why is Microsoft System CLR for SQL Server 2012, still a requirement for FME to work with SQL Serve Spatial - We are on SQL Server 2019, and we have CLR 2019 and 2017 installed. Surely it should use the CLR that is installed. Without 2012 CLR installed - FME does not work. 

I try to intersect a line with 3d coordinates and a polygon with 3d coordinates. How can i calculate the intersection point (the two screenshots may help)? Are there some properties that i have to use? Thank you for help!

Hi, I need to validate if the TFW file content corresponds to the associated TIF file.Therefore, I'm reading the TIF properties (with RasterPropertyExtractor) and I'm reconstructing the 6 TFW-paramaters, to compare them with the content of the TFW file.But... the problem is that the Reader reads the TIF file with the parameters coming form the TFW file. Hence, if the TFW is wrong, then the TIF properties extracted with RasterPropertyExtractor are also wrong.Is there a way to force FME to ignore the TFW file when reading a TIF ?Thank you for your help.

I need to filter by date. Its a CSV: that I need to filter by both Open and Closed status. But I need to find the Closed work orders that have been closed in the last 60 days. I am using TESTER to do the filter.

I keep getting an error in my Python caller transformer trying to convert dates in the format '%Y%m%d' to Python 'datetime.datetime' format. The transformer works for the first 236 features and generates the following error:Python Exception <TypeError>: strptime() argument 1 must be str, not NoneTraceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 38, in inputTypeError: strptime() argument 1 must be str, not NoneError encountered while calling method `input'I have examined the input data and nothing seems out of place or wrong with the data. I am not sure what's causing this.
