I'm quite new to the docker and docker cloud. It would be really useful if you could provide a standard stack file for the docker cloud enviroment. I have a scheduled script in FME Server that has to run every half hour during week days. However, I have to schedule it to run every half hour for 24 hours a day for every day in FME Server 2015, so that it runs at night and on weekends when it doesn't have to. Are there any plans to improve the granularity of the schedule in a future FME Server version?

Hi,Yesterday, I manually started a long running task (at 09 AM), and let it run thru the night.This morning it crashed with a Win32 error.What made me wonder was, that when I looking into the job's log, the process crashed almost exactly after 24 hours to the minute. This made me wonder whether it experienced some sort of 24 hour timeout ?The log contained information about what it was doing when it crashed, so I setup a small workspace to test that. It worked without hickups.My main workspace contains a looping custom transformer if that makes a difference. But I've previously had it running perfectly with other data sets.Has anyone experienced something similar ? Or is this just a very strange coincidence ?Cheers Lars I

Afternoon All, i have read the documentation on 64bit FME vs 32 bit FME but am still a bit lost... I have a complex 32bit fme workspace in 32bit 2015 FME on windows 10 64bit. Its reading ESRI API file geodatabase data and writing ESRI API file geodatabase data and failing because of insufficient memory issues....My 64bit PC (windows 10) has 64gigs of RAMM and obviously the 32bit FME is only addressing 3 gigs of this. Am i likely to find my workbech will work (get past the insufficient memory issues) if i run it on FME 2015 64 bit rather than FME 2015 32 bit.  Thanks Steve

Hi,As of late I've noticed that we've got a lot of sprawl with the names of our repositories. Does anybody have any best practices/recommendations on how their organization creates repositories/topics/notifications and assigns permissions?One thought I had was to create a repository per application and also per department/organizational group as needed. But I'm wondering if anybody else has any other ideas/thoughts on the matter. In addition, my thoughts really only apply to repositories and don't take into account permissions/topics/notifications.If it matters, my FME Server install only runs on my intranet. I don't need to expose it to the public.Thanks!-Jeff

Dear FME community,  is there a way to connect to an linux/ubuntu server from within FME Desktop? We have a server which has a specific IP adress. Say e.g.: 123.45.67.89  On this server which is a virtual machine runs Ubuntu. We would like to read from this server and if possible update the files in a specific linux folder. Is there a way from within FME to gain access to an ubuntu server?  Kind regards Thomas 

Hi,I'm looking at ways of assessing capacity of our fme server instance(s), and as well as regular things like cpu/ram capacity on the server I'm interested in the application specific metrics.In particular does anyone have a workbench/tool that will query an FME server 2015 repository and report the max number of engines running in a defined time period, lets say hourly. (I'm interested in the concurrency of engines, so I can reduce the chance of queuing, particuarly when I have active time dependant jobs.)If any one has any other stat gathering workbenches, I'd be interested in them too. I have some that query the repository and work out some stats per workbench, avg/max run times, success/fail counts that sort of stuff.Thanks in advance,Nick

Hi, It would be great if we could establish that the FME Server system is stable and healthy using a SCOM Management Pack.We are maintaining our servers, running critical systems, using Microsoft SCOM. For this, critical applications usually provide a SCOM, Management Packs (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh212794(v=sc.12).aspx) to support this kind of maintainance. These management packs include the "business logic" for the monitoring of the various monitoring areas. Many default Management Packs are supplied by Microsoft and 3rd party vendors, that can be used directly in SCOM. Is it a good idea to develop such a SCOM management pack Question for FME Server? Hi,I've used the httpfetcher in my 2014 WB, and it had proxy setting, and the script worked perfectly through the proxy.When i upgraded it with the new htppcaller in 2016.1, that option has disappeared and script no longer working.We have a few of these, and none seems to workplease suggest a way with proxy (don't want to use the fme option, because it is not a good way of implementing proxy)I think FME should be more proxy aware Rudy

Hi folks,I'm using FME Server 2016 here. Basically, my main workspace is published on FME Server with a jobsubmitter service and a notification on job completion. I ask to post to topics on Failure (and I check a topic that I already created in FME Server). This topic triggers a subscriber which is another workspace that sends an email. I want to know how do I manage the parameters that can be passed to the second workspace when the first workspace has failed? For example, the first workspace contains the user email to which we want to send the email in the second workspace. How do I pass it? Where is the End of Support life (roadmap) information posted - We are running FME Server 2014 SP2

If I do a silent (command-line) installation of FME would it be possible to set the shared resource folder as well? I don't see a flag for it in the documentation. Same question applies to some of the other FME options (database connections file, network proxy settings). If those could be set during a silent install it would make it easier for IT staff to run them more frequently.
