Hi,Is there a way to configure FME Server/Flow, so that logs are  automatically saved not only to standard .log file, but also to .json file (containing JSON formatted data)? It would be very helpful when it comes to further log information processing.

Hi everybody,My client has a spreadsheet that contains a list of Google Map urls embedded in text, inside cells in a Google Sheet. Using the Google Sheet  V4 reader, I am unable to read the url of the embedded text into the workspace. For example, I cannot read the url for the Google Map url for Safe’s location in this spreadsheet.  I’m really hoping to mine the lat/long coordinates from these urls. I use FME Desktop V2021.2.2.0 in production, but have Form V 2023.2.1.0 available, if needed.Thanks!

I have a .csv file with x, y, z coordinates. From these points, I want to create a 3D line. Currently, I have the issue that the z coordinates are not being transferred onto the line when I create a line from the points. Does anyone have an idea of how I can proceed?

Hi Everyone..I was able to find a workspace from community this template attached and did few changes to it and it is working as expected with sample template provided in workspace to create a GDB with domains , fieldnames and field alias.      1) This workspace consider single default words in domainlist provided in excel  only like Domain1 -      Attached Sample_1_Workspace template - works with 2023 version.This workspace consider single altered words domainlist like alphabets(A,B,C….) in Attached Sample_2_Workspace_template - works with 2023 version  This workspace consider 2 words in domain list like FME form in attached sample_3workspace_template -doesnt work and workspace fails.. If there are any special characters or space it doesnt work like : FME Form or FME_Form. I have attached error log and all sample data files with with each workspace.. Any Experts Kindly support : How can i resolve this with text as FME Form or FME_Form (with a space or special characters. Thanks

Hi All,I’m trying to improve the performance of my workbench by reducing the number of transformers. I was able to use AttributeManager to calculate the length of lines with the expression @Length() but I can’t work out how to round up the value up to 3 decimal places,Is that doable using the arithmetic expression instead of AttributeRounder transformer? 

Hello,I am trying to convert data from shapefile to DWG.To do that, I am using the DWGStyler to assign the correct setting to each object.Reading the post in the community, I am able to use the DWGStyler using a template and the right color is assigned to each object in CAD so, I see the match between the color in the canvas and the color in the Layer’s list. But, in some cases, I don’t have the template and when I open the file in autocad I can see the right color in the canvas assigned by the DWGStyler but in the Autocad list layer I see all layers in “red”, I attached an example. How can I resolve this situation to have the perfect match for the layer’s colors to avoid a manual rework without using the template? Thanks Max  

I’m working on an upload process via REST call and I want to use FME to do the upload.For the API I need to provide a list of file names in advance. I want this to just work and I want to be able to use FME’s multiple file picker to allow the user to pick folders, multipler files or just a single file. etc.Does anyone have a good/robust method for getting a full list of the files (and filenames) that this input could be.My initial plan is to split up the input parameter into a list and then figure out what are folders and what are files and for folders I would use a PATH reader to get the files.I guess I need a “MultiFilePathResolver” kind of thing. 

I have two polygon datastets and i send them to the Topology Builder so that they will get break at the intersection. However it does not give the result I expected. My expectation would be a similar result to thearea on area overlay  my output looks. The overlapping area are not broken. Any idea what i may have been doing wrong

Hello forum, I am working on a new API integration. I’ll be using HTTPCaller. The provider has said that their authentication method is ‘bearer token’ However the options in HTTPCaller are Basic, Digest, NTLM, Web Connection, Single Sign-On. Is one of the those options equivalent to bearer token? Thanks,Stuart

Trying to find a  way to find the maximum amount (highest density) of polygons with the rulethe polygons must be non-neighbouring. Essentially selecting a polygon and jump to the next polygon which is not neighbouring and so fort and so on until you encounter a neighbouring one.See attached picture which I hand-picked.

I have a test looking for many possible cases. one of the cases I want to find is Any folder inside of any folder that has some specific names. (BTW I am using directory and File Pathname reader to create a list) and then a tester to get all of the special cases.)I have a test line like path_directory_windows CONTAINS *\project_data\working\**\*I don’t get any errors with this syntax but it does not find the folders. Basically i am only wanting to find folders within any project_data\working folder that contain any files.If it doesn’t contain a file I am not concerned with it.Any help with a correct regex statement that would work, or the proper syntax for the contains statement are what i am needing.I have tried this regex unssuccessfullyproject_data\/working\/[^\/]+\/[^\/]+TIA 

I need to extract TAB or Shape file from S3 and read data from it including schema.I have discovered in this articlehttps://community.safe.com/data-7/how-to-extract-the-actual-shapefile-from-featurereader-geometry-and-attributes-14548?tid=14548&fid=7that FeatureReader apparently can’t read all attributes that are in the file, until I expose them. But what is I don’t know the list of all attributes? I don’t know what exactly will be uploaded by other people to S3 bucket, I just need to read the file.  Could you help, please, to identify the correct settings of FeatureReader or another way to extract data?

In the JSON transformer documentation, there is a sub-section on JSON Query, which states: JSON Property ExpressionsA property expression is a structure expression as described above, followed by a . (dot) operator and a property name. Currently, the only supported properties are type and size. The type property returns the type of the JSON value referred to by the JSON structure expression. I’m attempting to access an AWS marketplace free resource, NOAA’s bathymetry, but with Anonymous access if I enter us-east-1 as the region I cannot manually specify noaa-bathymetry-pds as the bucket and I cannot get a picker, or not that I can see.  Is there a trick?  Thanks.

Hi,I am struggling to trigger a automation from a custom html-form. It seems that the post-action never gets to the automation in FME Flow. My html-page looks like this:html-formThe html-code is this:html-code When I hit the [Submit]-button I get a white page - no error - nothing is logged! I know the automation works because the API-page gives me this: API-pageWhat I think might be wrong is that on the API-page I have a Token - which I don’t have on my custom html-form! How do I add the token to the HTM-form? Another question is wheather the request body coming from the custom html-form is right since I don’t see it?  Thanks in advance.Regards Jakob

I have an asbuilt with a table that has all the locations/names of  the structures.   The table layer name  is “text” and when i bring in  the drawing, the text layer is empty. Im sure its how i have my parameters set up so a little guidance on how to read this would be great. 

When I use the aggregator, the IFMELine becomes an IFMEMultiCurve.I don't want the IFMELine to become a IFMEMultiCurve. How can I prevent this?

I want to use the AzureServiceBusConnector to get the messages from the Queue.But if there are no messages in the queue I want to end the FME Job after 1 minute. Is there a way to terminate the process only if the queue is still waiting.If the AzureServiceBus connector reads the expected amount of messages I don't want to get an error, only if it's waiting for nothing.

Hello, we have a bunch of workspaces reading in from an SDE, all is fine in 2022 FME but after the upgrade to 2023 we can no longer read features that sit inside a feature dataset using the SDE reader. Features outside a feature dataset are fine. We have just discovered that a FeatureReader transformer will read them so maybe this is a bug in 2023?

Hi All, I am trying to write attributes to AutoCAD User Properties (within the panel) instead of exposing them using XDLIST Command.  I know how to do so manually in AutoCAD by using ADEDEFDATA Command and FME seems to be able to read these attributes, amend them or even add new ones and Write an AutoCAD File showing these attributes within the User Properties panel. However, it does not seem possible to write a new AutoCAD File with these properties or use a template with this table added to it.  Is this functionality even possible with FME? Have any of you found any alternatives? Many thanks for the time, Ana

FME(R) 2023.1.1.0 (20230928 - Build 23631 - WIN64)Hello FMEers,I have a set of Esri feature classes that we are supplying to our clients so they can submit data to us using a standard schema. On submission we want to verify they haven’t modified the data structure using the method described here. The method compares two datasets using the SchemaScanner and works well if there is at least one record in each feature type. It doesn’t work if there are no records in one of the datasets to be compared. This is expected because there are simply no features coming out of the ‘template’ feature class reader to work with.My question: is there any way to achieve the intent of the abovementioned article when one of my inputs has no records, only the table definition? The method works fine if I include a dummy record in the ‘template’ feature class, but I’d rather avoid this kludge.Thanks in advance. 

At this moment I received a DWG drawing with both Extended and Object data. To convert this data I first have to read with:Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3Dthen read withAutodesk AutoCAD Map 3D Object Dataand merge all features on the autocad_entity_handle Am I doing something wrong or is this the only way to get both attributes?Is it possible build a transformer that uses both reading engines because I think that would make the reader faster than current.

Hi all,I am trying to show all tables with contents in a database. I have a database with over 800 tables. Some tables are empty, some are not.  Im using this query in a sql client:SELECT SCHEMA_NAME(t.[schema_id]) AS [table_schema]          ,OBJECT_NAME(p.[object_id]) AS [table_name]          ,SUM(p.[rows]) AS [row_count]    FROM [sys].[partitions] p    INNER JOIN [sys].[tables] t ON p.[object_id] = t.[object_id]    WHERE p.[index_id] < 2    GROUP BY p.[object_id]        ,t.[schema_id]    ORDER BY row_count desc  If i am using a Sql Executor with this sql statement i have a return value of more than 300 tables wich is correct. In the preview of the feature window i see more than 300 lines. But i dont see any attributes like a table name or the number of records. Do you know how i can expose these attributes?
