When I use the aggregator, the IFMELine becomes an IFMEMultiCurve.
I don't want the IFMELine to become a IFMEMultiCurve. How can I prevent this?

Are you talking about the case where the aggregate only has 1 member? In that case a line does indeed become a multicurve when it’s actually not necessary. You can then use a DeAggregator to get it back to a line.
Hello redgeographics,
Thank you for your response.
I am not entirely sure what you mean. To give you a bit more context, I am analyzing some traffic data, in particular incidents that have occurred on different routes. If there were x incidents occurring on one particular route and I wanted to calculate some metrics for this route ONLY. I can use the Aggregator transformer to do this, the metrics returned are correct, but then I also get an IFMEMultiCurve with x IFMELines. I dont need the IFMEMultiCurve with the IFMELines repeating x number of times, is there a way to keep the original IFMELine during the aggregation?
For example in the screenshot above, there were 22 incidents on that particular route, I have calculated some metrics using the Aggregator transformer, but there is an IFMEMultiCurve which has the same line repeated 22 times. Is there a way to keep the original line without it repeating?
Ah, I see.
You can try the LineOnLineOverlayer instead of the Aggregator.
