Hi FME users,  The main purpose of my recent FME workflow is to GET the files from the folder from the FME server using HTTPCaller. Although the process displayed green which means the process is running correctly, the inspector showed the HTTP status code 200, which means the results are rendered in the response body (Figure 1. ) but not created successfully in the local drive. HTTP Set-up  Then, I tried another URL copied from FME API using POST, /fmerest/v3/resources/connections/Data/download/Logo/CPB_Logo.jpg, then the FME gave me the HTTP error code 403 FME Server is version 2023.2.1FME workbench is version 2021.2.3 Do you think it is because of the Version or some other issues? Thanks,Du

Hi, I've been working with a web connection to Sharepoint Online, created with help from this article:How to Create a SharePoint Web Connection for FME Form [Single Tenant]For SharepointOnlineConnector. It works for a time, but after a day or two there is a problem with refreshing my access token. This was the error message today:Updating access token for 'Microsoft SharePoint Online'Request to update access token failed. HTTP Error: HTTP/1.1 400 Bad RequestPython Exception <FMEWSException>: Type: 3, Number: 1, Message: Failed to get authorization header.If I reauthenticate my web connection It works again for a time.Any ideas what the problem may be?

Is it possible to use FME to monitor servers and services that include the following: Request Failure Alarms (example includes when an internal or external website gets a 502 error) Response Time Alarms (example includes if a website takes longer to respond than usual) Available Storage on a server (example if storage gets to 20 percent then send an email notification) Server Unavailable (example is if a VM goes down) I know I can do these things using VertiGIS Analytics for the GIS side; but am curious to know what FME Form along with FME Flow can do, if it is even possible to do at least one or any of the things I list above? what transformers would be useful? maybe creating a few workspaces and publishing them to FME Flow.    

I have an AttributeManager in a custom transformer (may be part of the problem but thought I would start simple with the AttributeManager) that has the following data (correct) on the input but the name of the attribute (not the attribute values) is assigned in the output.Input Attribute “Public_Water_System_ID” with correct values and output with wrong values:Settings in the AttributeManager is as follows:For data type I’ve tried buffer (default), varchar(20), and char(20). None of the other types seemed to make sense since the values are string.Perhaps a related problem is that this attribute (“Public_Water_System_ID”) is passed as a parameter into this custom transformer and is seems like there might be an issue with the transfer.  However, that being said, the correct values are appearing at the input port of the AttributeManager which is downstream from the custom transformer input. 

I have been tasked with connecting to an FTP site, retrieving a csv file, parsing that file into multiple Excel worksheets within one workbook and then FTPing the Excel spreadsheet back to another FTP site.I have all the component pieces working, in 6 different workbenches, the download of the original csv file, the parsing and writing of the data for each Excel sheet and creation of the four individual worksheets and the upload to the destination FTP site.  However, I have been advised by the local FME Admin that the process should be housed in one FME workbench.  And in order to achieve that, instead of downloading a physical csv file, I should be downloading the data as an attribute so that all of the subsequent processes could be housed within one FME workbench and the attribute data shared by each subsequent process, leaving no artifacts at the conclusion of processing.I have created one FME workbench and copied all of the processes into it and made all the adjustments to User Par

I am using SQL Executer but in the output port I am not getting the attribute exposed automatically. My SQL expression I am only counting the inputs so I cannot expose the attribute using “Populate Attribute from SQL”. I cannot use Attribute exposer every time I am using the SQL. Is there any other way to do this.

I am using FME(R) 2022.1.3.0 (20220928 - Build 22630)I noticed while working with ArcGIS Data (FileGeodatabase), that when I usethe “DatabaseJoiner” Transformer to join attributes with curly brackets inside its values, the curly brackets are gone after joining. e.g. Original Attribute value: {12C300A2-64C3-4494-A1E2-430CC5C5C7A9}joined value by DatabaseJoiner: 12C300A2-64C3-4494-A1E2-430CC5C5C7A9It this a known behaviour? Why would it get rid of the curly brackets? Anything to do against it?

Hello FME community, I have an issue I'm working on and can't seem to figure out the solution. I have two Excel tables. One with different kinds of certifications and the score each is given.Certification Score Certification_A 1 Certification_B 5 Certification_C 7 The second one contains Applicants with fields defining the various certifications and links to said certification. One applicant can have multiple certifications. We need to determine for each applicant which is the highest scoring certification.Applicant_ID Certification_A Cerification_B Certification_C 1   URL to file   2 URL to file     3   URL to file URL to file  In the second table I want to add the scores and then determine the highest score for each row (this i can do in a new field with the max(Value1, Value2 etc) function) and write out the applicant_id, the highest scoring certification name, it's URL and the score.Can anyone give me some pointers how i can solve this case?T

Hi All,I’m working on a workflow to project a DWG from one coordinate system to another. The workflow works fine but am having issues to write autocad_oriented_arc into the DWG final output. Hi I am using FME Form 2021I am passing a ArcGIS portal login (including domain) as a user parametere.g. username@sss.co.uk When I try to get the value in pythonCallerportalAdmin = str(FME_MacroValues['ArcGIS_Portal_UserName']).strip() It is coming asusername<at>sss.co.ukI am unable to use this to login to my portal in pythonCaller. Any idea how to escape the @ sign ?

I’m trying to repeat the same process on each group of features that represent each door (every door consists of many features having the same value of door_id) . on the other hand , the process that i want to create is detecting that line on green for each door and drawing it using the LineBuilder  .So for exemple ,if in my input i have : 200 features , every 30 or 40 features share the same door_id value (so there are say 6 doors in total )my output : 6 features (each feature is that green line , with the attribute door_id)

I have an Excel 365 .xlsx spreadsheet that I am trying to read into a FME 2021 workspace. When I try to read it, it gives me an error message: |ERROR |Excel Reader: Could not open file '...\input.xlsx', file is too large. Try switching to 64-bit FME, or exporting the Excel file to CSV. If the file is exported to CSV, formulas and formatting will be lost...T I cannot change the spreadsheet to a .xls, it has to remain a .xlsx. Any ideas on how to solve this?  The spreadsheet I need to read is 22mb with approximately 93,000 records.  

I am using FME Flow 2021.  Is there a way to add Active Directory User Names and credentials into FME Flow? Sort of like SSL/SSO with ArcGIS Enterprise.  My goal would be to be able to use the same user credentials I use on our network for logging into FME Flow.  Currently, my FME Flow has a domain user name, but the user names in FME Flow are built in. 

I have a collection of as built drawings stored as PDF’s and wanted to automate the creation of image files being used as thumbnails in a web application. I was wondering if anyone has done this before. I am currently using the Workbench 2018 PDF reader and attempting to rasterize using either ImageRasterizer or MapnikRasterizer.

Is there anyway to read in attachments while using the FeatureReader transformer. I know there is an option with the ArcGIS Online Reader but I don't know my Where Clause until after certain point in my workflow. Feature Reader was working perfect until I realized I couldn't read in attachments. Any help would be great!

 Hi, I have a table with many points, with an ID and two attributs, like this :I need to “dissolve” the points and get just one point by ID and in attributes get “Yes” if at least one of the original points had “Yes” as value, like this: Is that possible with some transformer? Thanks

Hey. Hey. I need some way to automate adding a time interval to a script in pythoncaller see attachment. I have a regular WS which I don't publish directly to the server, however it is not a problem to publish to the server, I have it available as well. It depends on whether the automation will be handled within some workspace or by some setting on the server, I don't know what your advice implies.So I have a calendar created in postgress DB see attachment, where I have airac_start and airac_end values - this is the time interval. I need to add these values to a script in pythoncaller ( there are two in WS ). This addition would happen by pasting the source files somewhere on disk ( probably watching for a change in the contents of the folder would be like a trigger ), which would start the whole process and depending on what cycle should be running, the airac_start and airac_end values would be added to the script. Can anyone think of any way to automate this thing? The way I work now

 Hello,I have installed a fresh install of FME Form 2023.2.2 on a Ubuntu VM with Azure. When running workspaces on FME Form 2023.2.2 with workbench, everything runs smooth. I have imported a manual license to the licensing assistant.However, I am trying to also install some python packages on this Linux VM. So we can transfer this to our Kubernetes Environment which also runs on Linux. We cannot install these packages on a Windows Machine cause they won't work on the Linux.Script: sudo /opt/fme-form-2023/fme fme -m pip install pandas --system --target /home/adminnordend/.fme/Plugins/Python/python310 After running this command we get the following Error: FME license system failure: FME is not licensed for this machine. I’m dealing with a rather large JSON file. The issue I have is that some element values contain literal quotes and double quotes, and these are causing Rejections in the JSONExtractor. The quotes/double quotes are not escaped in the original source. Is there a way to escape these automatically with other FME JSON transformers?My efforts to fix thus far using the StringReplacers have resulted in errors throughout the entire JSON string, since quotes/double quotes are native to JSON formatting.

Is it possible to clip a Civil 3D surface using FME and then export it as a Civil 3D surface DWG file?

When I write to AGOL I get the following error message:|ERROR |Attribute(64 bit real)             : `Company_Material_Unknown' has value `1312'I’ve tried various data type for both the writer and the attribute manager before the writer.  Nothing works.  I have another AGOL writer in another place in the FMW (different data stream) and it works fine.
