I’ve installed a newer version of FME (2024.1.0.0) previously used it to convert MicroStation DGNs to a SDF file worked a treat (to be consumed by a MapGuide service), however this new version requires FDO be installed at C:\Program Files\FME\plugins\fdo ?I don’t have administrative rights on this PC and was wondering if there’s a way to override the directory FDO .dll would be searched for or if not simply dumping the latest FDO release in that directory is ok and would work? sorry the error is a little light on the details… I’ve tried the 32bit and 64bit FDO releases and added them to my PATH environment variable, but this doesn’t seem to work.Error: Failed to find FDO libraries in either of the default paths 'C:\Program Files\FME\plugins\fdo'. We have a model where we use a ArcGIS Portal Feature Service Reader. On the FME Desktop machine, the model works fine for me but not for my colleague. Hi guys,Need a bit of help from those experienced with FME and sharepoint.Scenario:Need to access a “shared” excel file from our business groups sharepoint site as source for ETL development IT created a registered Azure app following FME guide on setting up Sharepoint web connection for single tenant, web guide. IT provided Tenant Id and client Id. IT setup registered azure app with delegated permissions: user.read, sites.selectedIssues:After following the guide for the web connection setup on FME, when testing, FME loads our orgs login page, when I key-in my windows account, I keep receiving prompt to ask admin for permission. I tried asking our Azure admins to test the web connection using their admin account and it goes thru. After saving the web connection and testing it on the sharepoint connector transformer it fails to load any sites and just throws an “unknow error”.So I am not sure at this point if its an issue with the registered app setup or if i lack access permission to o

Hi!I’m running FME Form (2024.1.2.1) alongside ArgGIS Pro (3.3.0) on a VM. I have one complex workbench that contains an ArcSDE Geodb Reader (amongst other Readers) that  runs successfully within FME Form. While trying to call the workbench from Windows Command Prompt the translation fails. Inside the application log file the following messages are displayed:|INFORM| The Esri product license used by this machine does not include licenses for the ‘ArcServer’ licensing level|ERROR| Unable to load a library in the folder: C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin. Hi team,I’ve noticed a bug within FME 2024.2.1 (Build 24801)… When I’m building out a workspace and reference a Password Deployment Parameter in a reader. If I edit that or any other Reader or Writer under the Navigator (i.e. Right Click, Update Reader, make changes and click OK), it will drop the Password Deployment Parameter, anywhere they are referenced.Text based Deployment parameters remain, but it just drops the Password based Deployment Parameters. Has anyone else seen this issue? Once they’re all set and we publish, it seems to retain them, but it’s only after we update the Reader and Feature Types.

Does anyone leverage FME with Agile Assets? Curious how you connect to it and what you do with it. Thanks!

I updated FME Flow from 2024.1.1.1 to 2024.2.1. After the update Version Control isn't working anymore.The Fetch From Remote-button works fine, but when I click the Push to Remote-button I get this error:Could not push to remote repository. Cannot invoke "org.eclipse.jgit.transport.RemoteRefUpdate.getStatus()" because "refUpdate" is nullDoes anyone have an idea what the problem could be?(I already created a support ticket with my local reseller, but they haven't seen this issue before)

Using an Esri ArcGIS Portal Feature Service Reader to read attachments, RasterReplacer fails on the attachment blob with INVALID_FEATURE_CANNOT_READ_BLOB. Enable Attachments='Y' on the reader, the arcgisonline_attachment{} list is exposed, and arcgisonline_attachment{}.data contains data. I am able to manually download jpg attachments from Portal successfully. I've tried all the image formats in RasterReplacer against the jpg in Portal. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! FME 2019.2.1.0, Portal 10.6.1

I have installed Smallworld version 5.3.2 with FME 2022. Currently, there is an issue when trying to view the tables after adding a reader or writer:In the Smallworld Explorer application, I added collection X in the Exporter section and collection Y in the Importer section.When I insert an FME Reader or FME Writer, in FME, when I request to display the collections, FME always shows the collections added in the Exporter section for both the reader and writer.Is this a bug, or is there something else I need to configure?

Hello! I’m trying to use the Cartegraph Connector and could use a hand. In the past year or so, I believe the API URLs have been updated compared to when this custom transformer was originally made. Now, I am having trouble with the very first step which is authenticating. I think I’m using the wrong URL to have my username and password accepted by the API. Also, this custom transformer was created in 2022 and may not work any longer for various reasons due to versions.As a test, using Postman, I have tested some API URLs and can successfully connect and perform a GET command and get back data. This shows that I’m close.. something works in Postman - so we’re on the right track.. now to get FME to connect.Because this is a work matter, I cannot share a great deal of information openly here. If anybody has a clue about getting connected to Cartegraph as it’s configured today (2024/2025) that would be awesome. Thanks and take careJim

Hi I’m calling an Ordnance Survey API using a bounding box of a 25km grid square to just get the building outline features I need.  I’m doing a spatial filter and buffer then to further reduce the number of features I want.  I’m doing this manually i.e. putting the new bounding box values into the API call parameters then running the workbench again.  I want to be able to do this dynamically via a parameter, from a list of bounding box coordinates from another file, so I can effectively loop through and spit out out a file for each grid square (I’ll append these back together later).Is this possible?  Any help gratefully received.

Can someone please sanity check me.The example in the google developers for animated updates is https://developers.google.com/static/kml/documentation/kmlfiles/animatedupdate_example.kmland it works fine.However the same code embedded in a kml generated by the FME KML writer does not work.As far as I can tell, the issue is with the name space declaration.the example uses <kml xmlns="http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2"  xmlns:gx="http://www.google.com/kml/ext/2.2"> whereas the FME kml writer produces<kml xmlns="http://www.opengis.net/kml/2.2" xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" xmlns:gx="http://www.google.com/kml/ext/2.2" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"> Am I going crazy or does changing the declaration break the animation for anyone else?
