I have a workspace that is supposed to clip a bunch of DEM's and DSM's to the same boundary. Unfortunately the outputs from the clipper transform are slightly different in size which causes me problems later on in the workspace as I need the DEM and DSM for the same clipping boundary to be the exact same size. I've tried toggling the settings for the clipper but I haven't had any success. Any suggestions is much appreciated. Below are some screenshots. I would think having the preserve clippee extents set to no would solve my problem but it doesn't.

I have a string attribute:eg.(sign,45,"red, white",null, "stop") I want to be able to split this attribute while respecting the use of "" to surround the text.  If I use a regular Attributesplitter the result is:sign45"redwhite"null"stop" what I'm aiming for is:sign45"red, white"null"stop" Anyone got any ideas?  Cheers,David

Hello,I have 2 shape files that i need to intersect, one is a long line, the other is a set of points that I know are on the line. I want to cut the line into smaller ones, but not in a way that PointOnLineOverlay would work, as it cuts it in segments, which we can not choose the length of.I want to the line cut on each point, and make the lines resulting a certain length in each direction before and/ or after the point, in a way that they overlap partially one onto another.Have a great day

Hello !I would like to know if it is possible to have a mapping background on which is situated a localised point, as shown in image below ? I have more than a hundred located points and I need to generate automatically this kind of map in PDF format if possible, on which there shall be TEXT inserted such as title, XY cordinates and a jpeg photo. Anyone could help me to create this workbench please? Thanks in advance !

Each time we create a new reader/writer, it gets a different identifying shortname, even when it's replacing an existing version. FME 2020.1.2 Why has the button to enable/disable parameter prompting suddenly vanished ? It was still there in FME 2020.1 !! I don't appreciate such changes with a minor version update !!!

I run my workbench with feature caching on and I want to evaluate my result. i.e display both my polygon layer together with my lines to evaluate that my lines has been clipped properly. When clicking on the green magnifying glass only that layer open in data inspector. But I want add any numbers of layers into the same view. 

I am running a workspace with a workspacerunner and every time it finishes it opens an inspector. It always takes focus and I cannot do anything else as it continuously pops up.

I'm having trouble reading a collection of .ADF ArcGrid files. The error I'm getting has been attached. The log file seems to indicate it is looking for a file named W001001.adf. But as you can see from the 2nd screenshot (data) showing the files, W001001.adf is not one of my files. I'm not sure where this is coming from. What could be causing this?

I have a process I would like to automate.  Every week I go out into the field and collect gps locations with a few attributes. I export the gps locations as a .gpx file. I open the .gpx file in Google Earth to visually verify the data. I save place as a .kml file. hello there a mobile app to collect data from the field and we are getting coordinate value and accuracy value the accuracy is changing for each location is there a way we could adjust the coordinates based on the accuracy long: 42.725667797161lat : 18.35510516986accuracy 5.22930621796in other terms what will be the coordinate value if the accuracy is close to 0 Thanks   

Hello, I am trying to compare changes between 2 excel files containing borehole samples. I am new to the change detector transformer but my understanding is it needs a unique ID to be able to detect Updates but additions and deletions can be detected without one. My data is a bit irritating as a sample needs to be identified using 4 different fields (Borehole ID, Depth Top, Sample Ref, Sample Type) but when I have these 4 fields selected in the "Update Detection Key Attributes Field" it produces many extra results on a test sample.  Any advice?

The posts created in the new community is sorted latest-first, which makes sense (and is consistent with the old community) because latest are typically more relevant.But when I click on "View more" to see the old (and migrated) posts, they come in a random order.Would it be possible to set the sorting timestamp on these to be equal to the original posting date (or last comment/answer, if that's more correct) ?CheersLars

I can change (rename) the autocad_entity_handle of objects. But when I write them back to dwg they will get new handles. Looks like when writing to a dwg the objects in the dwg will get new handles :-S I'm looking for a solution to write to a dwg and have control of the handle-names of the objects. Who can help me? :-) 

 Hi all, I am getting Geodatabase Error (-2147024893): The system cannot find the path specified, when trying to fanout a dataset and writers are drop and create. It works for some areas but not others. Could be path length issues? Bonjour,Nous devons traiter en masse des fichiers dgn pour lesquels nous n'avons pas l'information de la projection (selon la zone de travail ils peuvent être en L1, L2/L2E, L3, L93). Nous traitons à la fois des DGN V7 et V8. Y-a-t-il un moyen d'identifier la projection des objets entrant (via un champ du DGN qui serait rempli 'automatiquement' par les applis ou par déduction des X/Y)? I am converting a JSON file to a table in arcgis online. This data needs to be updated every day. How do I update a table in arcgis online from external data (JSON)? I'm always getting errors ... Or at least delete and create a table again every time the workspace is set up.thank´s

I am currently trying to make a workbench which matches jpeg_exif_datetime attributes to a time interval from a google sheets document.  I have a list of start times and end times stored as attributes which I have converted to FME datetime format and FME datetime interval.   I have also exposed the jpeg exif data and converted this  So far I've tried two methods and feel like I'm getting close but can't quite get it to work.  I tried using an inline querier but I haven't managed to get that to work.  I can get a tester to filter the ranges using a published parameter of the datetime string and the Date/Time comparison mode. I tried running this workspace using a workspace runner but that didn't seem to output any results although it ran without errors.  If anyone has got any ideas about how I can best approach this it would be greatly appreciated.

What would be the fastest way to work out deltas between a feature service in portal and and the original dataset. We are talking about a table with over 700K records in it.

I am getting an error when I try to import the .fsproject files. The files working smoothly with the FME Server of the person who sent it to me. And blue error message box appears empty. You can look at from attached log file (as .txt) and sceen capture. What could be the reason and how can I solve?
