Hi, I need to work with a file that uses EPSG:5682 as CRS but unfortunately it's not available in the CS Gallery. I tried to add it as a custom CS, as described in the online documentation but it's still not showing up. This was my workflow:I went to the online tool and pasted the ESRI WKT for EPSG 5682I entered the missing parameters (that weren't already populated from the WKT)I unzipped the files provided by the tool and copied them to ..username\\Documents\\FME (see attachment)After restarting FME, the custom CS is still not available in the gallery. Did I miss something? Thank you for your help!

Hi, We are creating an integration between Smallworld and FME Server. The Smallworld tool will call an FME workspace on our FME Server. The FME Server is hosted internally only and we are using built in authentication.  There is an option in FME Server to create a short lived session token via the api. I've set up a user that only has access to this repository that can be used to generate the token.  There is a second option in the Administrator interface to generate a fixed api token. When is this used? Is it more or less secure? The Smallworld developer notes that if you are using a user name and password to generate the short lived token then the risk is similar:'It seems to me that the API token with restrictions is more secure than username/password. Example: We have a layer with employees. Each employee has their own unique polygon. We can easily go in and create unique symbology for each person. We can use hashing and colors to allow overlaps.  The issue is finding a way that every time someone new is entered in the employee database, they get symbology automatically setup.  In other words, does anyone know if FME can create a new layer file, symbolized with rules, that accounts for new rows/values. We were hoping to find something in ESRI solutions but haven't so far. So now wondering if FME can just automatically recreate the base layers files that the map service would ultimately consume.  Thanks

I am downloading data through an API from OS open source. The connection is set up correctly and the data is downloading when ran but it downloads several versions of the data in several formats such as SHP file, GML and Geotiff. For my project im working on I only need the shapefiles but I cannot figure out what tool to use to filter the rest of the unwanted data types out correctly. Or maybe its not a tool and its done in the JSONfeature parametres?I have attatched some photos below so I hope it helps clear up any questions.

The above image should explain the issue.  I have tried AreaGapAndOverlapCleaner which fills the donut and dissolves with 1 of the polygons (I have chosen the polygon with the longest boundary at present), which results in below. This is ok but ideally I want the donut evenly split across both polygons. Is this possible? Can anyone recommend a transformer or number of them to get my required output?

Hi, I've a bunch of features relative to adresses and associated inhabitants.I've already grouped the features by similar street names and numbers wich results in the "match_id" column.What I need now is to sum each four "total..." column's value (separately) by using the "match_id" as grouping value.The goal is to get the number of peoples, etc ..., living at one adress.I've tried several transformers after the AttibuteManager but none return the attented values. Thanks for your help

Please can someone tell me how to write a WHERE clause in the feature reader that excludes records that do not contain a value.I have thousands of records and some of them have a Global ID - I want to keep these records.I also have records that contain NULL or no value - I want to exclude these values.I can perform this function in a Tester, but a colleague informed me having this clause built in to the feature reader instead will be much quicker. Hi everyone, I need to retexture a citygml file using one (mosaic)image file. But I am facing an issue in the last steps using the Appearance Setter. I started with the WallSurfaces and managed to calculate the (row,column) coordinates of each wall-vertex on the new single image (derived from the previous textured model that used multiple images for one building in the appearance folder). The position of a (sample) wall3D projected on the mosaic-image looks correct, attached a screenshot from QGIS. I rescaled the row column coordinates to a 0,1 scale, with (0,0) representing the lower left corner of the image, and stored them as list-attributes for each wallsurface. I used these lists to set the u,v texture coordinates with the measuresetter transformer as explained in this useful post on texturing citygml :

Hi all, I have a couple of point features which are feeding through with polygons (as the points should join to polygons, bar these 2). I've tried the GeometryCoercer and CenterPointReplacer etc but no luck. Is there something I'm missing which could create even a small polygon from a point?

Hello, I have a (excel)list of points [x,y,z] which was recorded along a cable. The recording was done contiguously both upwards and downwards. Unfortunately without marking the reversal points. The starting point of the cable is the first point of the recording in the list. If I now generate a line from the point list using FME, I get a 3D line which runs both upwards and downwards. My goal is to split this line into two lines, but I haven't found a transformer that will give me the inversion point. My idea for determining the reversal point would be to determine the reversal point based on the distance to the starting point. The reversal point would then be the point from the point list with the greatest distance to the first point in the point list. How could I solve this elegantly in FME?Thanks a lot for your support

Hello everyone!I have a problem that I don't quite know how to approach.I want to automate the production of coordinate frames in AutoCAD.The idea is to define a work area (by a square polygon) and extract the relevant coordinate frame for it, as attached in the file, and in the picture.The question is, how can I attach the coordinate labels to the relevant places on the frame?I would appreciate advice from those who can give..Thanks!
