Fme server 2016I developed ONE fme file which reads from csv file and writes to csv. I Published this fmw to fme server. If I use Fme server’s user web interface it asks me to upload the csv file and loading to temporary folder and fme server knows this path. its working good.I am using my own web page(image attached) and calling fme server’s URL inside my web application. But when I run this fmw, fme cannot locate the source dataset(csv) in the server. How/ Where can I upload/keep my source csv file in the server ?, So that fme server can locate this filepath when called thru fme server’s url. I copied csv to server path and I redirected my source dataset to this uploaded file, it is not locating and gives error. Can you Please tell me how can I achieve this?
Every time I open Esri ArcCatalog, I noticed that it is pulling an FME License from my floating license pool - this is quickly using up all available licenses!
The issue is when I try to run any workspace through FME server they get this error: “Repository does not exit”.I tried the below steps to solve this issue but it’s still not working:Restart FME services.Restart server.Publish the workbench and create new folder in repository. This issue appeared after windows security patch was updated. Please note that the schedule is working fine but if we try to run the workbench manually it gives the error. In attached file you will find the errors. Please advise.
It is my understanding that only one of the desktop versions can be licensed at a time.So how can I stop the license activation of FME desktop 32bit so I can switch the license to FME desktop 64bit on my PC?
I have a set of workspaces which I need to run in FME Server, a process which needs to be repeated every few weeks. I have set up a workspace which contains a set of FMEServerJobSubmitter transformers, with 'Wait for Server Job to Complete' set to Yes. This works fine for running on my Desktop, and uses up 1 FME Server Engine to run through the jobs. However, I would like to do the whole process in FME Server, not using up an FME Desktop license. When I run the FMEServerJobSubmitter workspace in FME Sever, 2 engines are used up - one for the workspace runner and another for actually running the jobs. Is there a way around this? Thanks
Hi, I'm encountering problems installing FME 2017.1 64bit desktop (version 02 may 2017). Installation runs almost to the end, but fails with error code 2330 and rollbacks itself.I tried downloading it again, same error occurs. Hope someone can help! Thanks.
I am trying to connect to an FTP via the FTPCaller (downloading a file), however I am having huge issues with the message coming back saying "Couldn't connect to server".I know the following:- I can rule out proxy issues as the HTTP caller works perfectly- On the same machine I can use an FTP client eg WinSCP and connect to the same FTP- On the same machine I can paste the FTPCaller URL I am entering into a browser and again connect to the the site.I am puzzled as to what is going on. I.T say there are no firewall restrictions (proven by WinSCP connecting) or proxy issues (HTTP Caller works OK) so I'm not sure what is going on.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Regards,Luke
What is the process to upgrade FME Server to 2017
Hi, Is there a way, I can force FME workbench to use a Database Edition license rather than an ESRI Edition license, considering I have both versions?
I've just installed FME Server 2016. After restarting the server and running a sample job I would then go to the Jobs page to ensure that it ran successfully. After clicking Manage > Jobs I get the whirling cogwheel then eventually a message on the screen that says: There was a problem communicting with the REST APIThe security pages show a message that says:Sorry, Page not FoundHow can I fix this?
Why is this happening? What can I do to resolve?
Hi Team,Am just beginning to understand FME Migration. I have a requirement to migrate eCTD (Rosetta) to D2 SSV. Can i get some guidance in this regards. Thanks,Ajosh Gopi.
I don't have a GUI to interact with... only command line!
HiI'm having trouble using connections to SQL Server since upgrading FME server to 2017. I'd like to use windows authentication, and got this working on 2016.1 by changing the account that one of the FME services ran as (using a service account), and giving that service account access to my database. I've tried this in 2017 and it doesn't seem to work - it stops various parts of FME Server from working properlyAlso I can't seem to find any documentation for FME Server 2017. Is there any?ThanksAdam
Trying to install FME2017 on linux and get this error-message:Dependency not satisfiable: libpng12-0Have tried to google for it to be installed - but this seems to be a very old library - the newest is 16-16. Any workaround for this?
Windows 10 64bit machine running 32bit FME version 2016.1.3.1(20161207 - Build 16716 - WIN32) and I am trying to connect to a DB2 non-spatial database using ODBC. I have installed IBM iAccess Client Solutions version 1.1.0.15 and created a 32bit ODBC connection to the server. When I add an IBM DB2 Non-Spatial reader to the workspace, it fails with the following error: IBM DB2 Non-Spatial Reader: Database version '7.1.15' not supportedI tried using the instructions on this site at https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/675/creating-an-odbc-connection-to-an-ibm-db2-database.html but they will not work on Windows 10.Is this something I can work around or am I beating a dead horse. Thanks in advance.John
I do not use my FME Cloud account anymore, but I still get invoices. How can I close the account?
Hi,Perhaps someone has come across this before. I am trying to license ArcMap on our FME Server.FME Server 2015 is installed with the FME Server license Manager on the same server (server1 )using port 27000ArcMap license manager is installed on server2 also using port 27000.Port 27000 is open on each server. Both machines are running Win 2008 Server. We install ArcMap on the FME Server (server1) and try to license it using the license manger on server2 but I get an error that there is no License server running on the ArcMap license manager server. The FME Server and ArcMap license managers are on different servers. Therefore I would expect that I can connect to the ArcMap license manager from the FME server even though they both use port 27000 as they are separate servers. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks,Annette
I am logged into my Linux machine as root, and tried to run the installer. sudo ./fme-server-b16716-linux-x64.runAfter granting all permissions, it still doesn't work.sudo chmod 777 fme-server-b16716-linux-x64.runsudo ./fme-server-b16716-linux-x64.runThis is the error I received:Verifying archive integrity... All good.Uncompressing FME Server 2016.1.3.1................................................................................/usr/safe/./fme-server-b16716-linux-x64.run: line 403: ./install.sh: Permission deniedWhat can I do?
I recently installed the new ArcGis (10.5) on our system. ArcGis is working perfectly well, but since then FME isn't able to execute ArcGis related (GeoDatabase) tasks. The Error call is: Unable to check out an Esri license. Please ensure ArcGIS is correctly licensed and that there are available licenses. Is this a known problem and what can I do to solve it (except for waiting 2 weeks for the new FME release). The only thing I can think of is reinstall the older ArcGis.
