Windows 10 64bit machine running 32bit FME version 2016.1.3.1(20161207 - Build 16716 - WIN32) and I am trying to connect to a DB2 non-spatial database using ODBC.

I have installed IBM iAccess Client Solutions version 1.1.0.15 and created a 32bit ODBC connection to the server. When I add an IBM DB2 Non-Spatial reader to the workspace, it fails with the following error: IBM DB2 Non-Spatial Reader: Database version '7.1.15' not supported

I tried using the instructions on this site at

https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/675/creating-an-odbc-connection-to-an-ibm-db2-database.html but they will not work on Windows 10.

Is this something I can work around or am I beating a dead horse. Thanks in advance.

John

@jwatson Unfortunately FME only support DB2 7.2 and later. See the FME DB2 documentation. I'm not sure if there would be anyway to work around that. You might have success with a DB2 JDBC driver
