Hi all,Does anyone know if it is possible to hack the code used to generate the legend of a chart created by HTMLReportGenerator?The attached image shows how cramped the legend becomes when there is more than a couple of words used in the description. I have tried to edit the bootstrap classes used by the appropriate div but without success. I don't know bootstrap well so I'm not sure if this is even possible. Any pointers would be appreciated!

Some FME scripts developed in 2017 version are not working in 2016 version. See the attached zip file for details. It seems like the transformers that are not working in these specific scripts are 'DatabaseJoiner' and 'FeatureMerger'.What are the alternate solutions ?

Hi there!Working with FME Desktop 16.1.2.1 in a rather complex FME Workspace I decided recently to reorganize the FME Workspace such that it would become a little less complex to maintain the Workspace. Certain attribute values, that were used in multiple occasions in different parts within the Workspace, were before distributed based on FeatureMergers based on common attributes and attribute values (tempid = 1 for all incoming features) and making use of AttributeKeepers to keep the amount of data processing small and let only those attributes through that are actually needed. In that case the order of adding attributes to features is defined and this works splendid (but makes the FME Workspace perhaps a little more complex than needed and less elegant to read).In order to simplify the Workspace I decided to use VariableSetters and VariableRetrievers throughout the Workspace such that less FeatureMergers and hence less connections are needed, simplifying the Workspace. I have lots of GeoRSS Files and in these file there are some attributes. I want to convert these GeoRSS file to ESRI Shapefile. GeoRSS files Contain Some attributes in Coding. Is it possible for FME to create a 100% Stacked Bar Chart, given the following scenario?I have 7 years of roadway data (2010-2016)Each year contains a count of miles classified as Good, Fair, and Poor. Hi Team,I need to find the solution for my problem. My Workspace has two Source - Shapefiles: - Point - Batimetry The Shapefile Point has a Attribute that represent the angle value: ground = 256.2000122. Using the transformer AttributeCreator i have a +- 5 degrees tolerante on top the attribute ground:Result: graus_up: 261.2000122graus_down: 251.2000122I would like to create a buffer oriented the values: 251.20000 until 261.2000 from the point.After i need to Lines ( Source Batimetry ) in a within tis buffer. Hi all,I have a point feature class with an attribute of "Maximum Value". For each point I am trying to find the distance to the closest point that has a higher "Maximum Value". I can easily use the NeighborFinder to find the closest point if I didn't want to use this condition. I am having trouble integrating comparing attribute values with finding the closest neighbor. I tried looping through a custom transformer, but the fact that it is a blocking transformer is throwing me off there.I hope the collective FME hive can help!Thanks,Isolde

Hi, I am trying to fine tune my model (taking 4-5 hours to run). When I look at the logs it seems to be taking along time to run some larger datasets thru the SpatialRelator. These are datasets that have been made from rasters. For my output, I simply only need to tag those that a spatially related with a new attribute so would like to dissolve and simplify the datasets prior to running thru SpatialRelator. I tested the dissolver and the Aggregator. The Dissolver takes too long. The Aggregator seems to work but the dataset is still hard to work with due to the number of vertices (see pic). I tried the AreaAmalgamator but it sends the output out the rejected port. Does anyone know the best way simplify a big dataset.

Hi I have created an account in knowledge center using google account directly. Now it is displaying my google account as profile name. Suppose my google account is XYZ@gmail.com, so it shows XYZ as profile name. I want to change my profile name but can't see any option over there. Need a help.  I have another question also. If I deactivate my account, can I use the same google account for creation of new account in future?  Thanks in advance

Folks,I've just gone to use a "Sorter" trasnformer to sort some data in a mapinfo table for processing. However upon opening the attribute selector the list of available columns is presented in alphabetical order. In many instances this would be great, but in this particular instance it's a true pain.I presume the Sorter works much like other query\\sorts where the logic is sort by "this" then by "this" then by "this" etc.In the case of my table I want to sort in the order of the columns as presented in the table. The issue is they are rather generic in name and the order isn't obvious in the naming even though regular, their order in the table does not follow this convention.In the image below the id is followed by start_equipment_id. There are additional columns but this gives you a good idea.Ironiclly I see the "sorted" check box which seems to imply that the default is "table structure order" but this is how th

Hello,  There is a point data, in which there are many which have identical concatenated attribute value.  Trying to create a polygon of such points which have the identical attribute values and finding the centroid. For which, the HullAccumulator (convex) was tried. However, It does create the polygons but not in the cases where there are two points with identical attribute value it doesn't. requirement being, All the points which have these identical values need to create their respective polygon.  Regards.

I have a file with buildings as polygons and am trying so simplify and convert these to centroids. I have Disolved and added a buffer. But after that I am stuck:A) I want to add a attribute where polygons larger than 400 m2 are categorised as "4", polygons between 400 and 200 are categorised as "3", and so on. How do I do this? (The AttributeMapper almost does this, but as far as I can see it does not work with operators, only hard numbers.)B) In the next step I want to check if any smaller polygons are touching a bigger one. Eg. If a polygon with the size 1,2 or 3 touches a 4 they get dropped. Same thing if a 1 or 2 touches a 3, and so on. Which transformers would accomplish this?C) At the end of it all I want to measure the angle between the first and second corner in each polygon and ad this as a rotation attribute. What is the best method to do this?Sorry for the barrage of questions...

Hi all,I'm am looking for some Regex help to clean up my workflow. I have used StringConcatenator to bring together latitude / longitude fields and to separate these with ", " (comma white space)Unfortunately my data also contained empty fields and text resulting in:, 51.50757358840452, 4.358557125886925aan, Alphen, Winterswijk  The only data I want to keep are the valid latlongs in bold. Can you help me out with a regex string (to be used in StringReplacer) that cleans all except the valid latlongs?Best,Ed

In my Aggregator transformer that I use to prepare and build a SQL query to next feed into SQLExecuter query, I want first to check if the primary key values are of type string in order to pad single quote for each value.. (example: value1, value2, value3, ..for numeric primary keys'value1','value2','value3', ..for string primary keys)So I chose to create a Scripted (Python) private parameter to check whether the primary key values of type string, then return a single quote as below: snglq= ","# Check if the primary key is string?if type(FME_MacroValues['SDE_PK']) == str:    #then add a single quote    snglq= "','"else:    # no single quote    snglq= ","return snglqAnd then assign value returned to the Separator Character box in Aggregator transformer, as shown below:But that's not working properly, always result in values with padded single quote, yet the primary key values are of type numeric!!What would be wrong here, please help

I use AttributeCreator to prepare a list of columns (A, B, C, D, etc..) for an Excel writer. My problem is that the list is 4000 items long. I have to manually expose every one of the column labels, which is not feasible. I have looked up and down and did not find a solution. Is there a way with PythonCaller to label a feature as exposed?

Hi,When writing CityGML, gml:ID is added to the surface feature (WallSurface, RoofSurface, GroundSurface) however, there is no ID written to the polygon of the surface. How can i create an attribute to set the gml:id of the polygon of the surface feature?Thanks,Steve

Hi I have 2 datasets, a DTM (i.e the underlying ground model) and a DSM (the surface model). These are currently 1m spaced point features (with the same X,Y locations). I am looking to use the difference between the two models (i.e DSM elevation - DTM elevation) to build 3d models of a feature. These features may be buildings, trees, hedges etc.My current work flow is as following:Build 3D lines between the DSM and DTM point for a given X,Y, using a neighbor finder and line builder, and assign the line an IDFilter out lines with a length below 1m (we assume these are not of interest).In ArcScene, select a group of lines that represent a feature, e.g a house. give these lines a FeatureID.In FME split the lines back into DSM/DTM using a snipper.Use the TINGenerator, grouped by FeatureID to create a TIN of the DSM points.However from here I just cant figure out how to make "Walls" down to the DTM points at the bottom of the feature. Why is my DWG to DWG translation writing out PNG files? I am not reading in any PNGs anywhere in my workspace - how can I disable this? Write Thumbnail Image is set to No.

Hi,I am trying to write a CityGML file using FME Desktop 2017. I can write the Roof, Ground and Wall surfaces features which contain the geometries, however, the "Building" featureclass does not contain the HREF links to those surfaces.This is easy to detect when using the inspector, as the Building featureclass does not show up as spatial.I have set gml_parent_id in the surface classes, to the value of gml_id used in the building class.
