Is it possible to have a cleaner log output when throwing an Exception, for example in a Python Startup script?So that we can see just the Exception message and not display the whole Python script. Maybe others prefer this, but for me it was confusing thinking there is an issue with the Python rather than the thrown Exception.

Currently if initiating features are sent to a FeatureReader with a null geometry and the spatial filter is set to Envelope Intersects the feature reader returns every single record in the table. Initiators with null geometries should be output via the rejected port where the FeatureReader is using a spatialfilter
It happens sometimes that you want to shutdown your computer, but a model is still running. And it has already run for say 10 hours. But you really have to go home, want to take your laptop with you and you did not borrow a license. It would be ideal if it was possible to pause a model, saving temporary files (for as far that is not done already) and continue add any given moment.
A prompt that asks for parameters when all data has reached the transformer so that decisions can be made by a user based on results and will not continue until the user confirms or cancels.
There are times when debugging when I would love to have the ability to open a pre-existing log file in such a way as to get a snapshot of the display feature counts on the connections.

Adding/Changing filters in Excel is just so easy. I would love to be able to read just the filtered data of my data set. I know that I can use a tester for this, however, compared to the excel column filter the Tester takes a little more clicks/time. I use FME to make my job faster, being able to leverage this excel functionality would allow me to quickly run reports on sub-sets on the same data.Filter, Save, Run, Filter, Save, Re-Run, etc.
I know FME can read groups, but it would be great to be able to write these as well.

I think it could be useful to promote transformers out of the 'Transformers' branch of the navigator to sit at the top level.I was initially thinking just for FeatureReaders/Writers as they are really just as significant as the other readers and writers in a workspace, maybe the concept of 'pinning' a transform to the navigator tree, and FeatureReaders/Writers are pinned by default?

Box supports overwrite if an uploaded file already exists, a version flag is applied to the target file, but BoxConnector fails to upload and overwrite, sending the feature to the Rejected port.

Tools for handling voxels would be great.At present we switch between meshes, point clouds, rasters and extruded polygons to get voxel like functionality.Output is multiple solids/volumes for BIM applications.
We've got a customer that connects to ODBC 3.x database tables a lot and they'd be very happy to have the ability to add some 'Database Connections' for this database type. However, right now (2017.0) its not an available format in the list of options to assign a connection for.Was it ommitted for a reason, or just forgotten?
Just want a new transformer that works to remove/keep specified worksheet(s) in an existing Excel book.[Addition] Or, add an option to the Excel writer to remove excess worksheets, which have been copied from the specified template book but no data has been written while the translation.
