Hi,

I was also looking for such a function and couldn't really find a method that worked for me online. Since I did stumble upon this post in my search, I will post the solution that worked for my case here. I'm not familiar with all the FME terms. I hope that the images make it clear enough.

It is based on a comment in this post.

In the (WFS) reader parameter list (green) there is the 'search envelope' parameter.

'

Right clicking one of the values results in three options: Edit Parameter value, Create User Parameter, and Link to user parameter.

First I created a User Parameter. (Create User Parameter)

'

Which looks like this.

'

The search envelope parameter from another reader can then be linked to to the created User Parameter. (Link to user parameter)

'

In the User Parameter list (purple) there is the Search Envelope User Parameter of the minimum X that I just created. Editing this parameter value (minimum X) will also change the values of the other minimum X that it is linked with.

'

If there is another solution to edit the search envelope of multiple readers at once I would like to hear them ;)

Even better, a central 'named search envelope'/'spatial bookmark' or similar would be really nice.

I like the idea of a named search envelope, similar to named connections, that can be re-used by multiple readers or even multiple workspaces.
