As the subject line states… This is a fresh installation of FME Server v 2019.1.2 Build 19630.I enter U: Admin P: Admin and it takes me right back to the login interface.The installation docs online state the following: Confirm that FME Server is available:Log in to the Web User Interface with the username and password you entered during installation.There was no prompt to enter a user name and password during installation. FME Server is installed on a Virtual Machine - Windows 2016 Server Any help would be great

Can I send by email the new record added to a table that is in a database? and each time there is a new record send me an email

Hi, I am trying to send an email using an email subscriber, which in some cases seem to work successfully. However, not all attempts to send mail are succesfull, sometimes the workspace job succeeds and the topic fires that should trigger the email subscriber, however, no mail is sent and not even the logfile email.log gets written. Anybody any clues? Is there no flushing mechanism on the email.log? The subscriber.log only states that there is a new client accepted on port 7072.

Hello FME community, I can't login to FME server anymore. When checking the Windows services, I can see that the FME Server Database is not running. When trying to manually restart it, it switches off again after a few seconds. And when I look into the ../FMEServer/resources/logs/installation/CreateDatabase.log or CreateUser.log I see that it is looking for a database on localhost on a certain port (see figure). However, I can't find this postgresql database back. I did install a new postgresql database yesterday, but that one is operating on a different port than mentioned in the above log files. Could it be that FME server is looking to the wrong postgresql database? I am looking forward to the responses. Kind regards,Tim 

I'm currently preparing to upgrade to FME Server 2019. I'm looking to install the new version in parallel but when attempting to install the new version of FME Server, it results in an error of "Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue." This error occurs when using a different directory and/or drive.There are a couple of articles I've read, one mentions installing multiple versions of FME Server is possible (https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/796/installing-multiple-versions-of-fme.html), while the administrator guide states uninstall then install (https://docs.safe.com/fme/html/FME_Server_Documentation/AdminGuide/Upgrade-in-Place-Same-Machine.htm ).

Hi, I would like to ask you some tools and techniques for automation and visualization of transport services rotation (eg. Bus,train, flight connection ) , implement some kind of tool which converts the data into graphs automatically .The initial data is available in excel format and the final output will be expected in graphics(JPG,PNG.....) with map in the background .Pleas anyone to suggest me some techniques Thanks

As I never have migrated FME server before, I'm not sure what to expect / what the best practice is. I have mainly standalone workspaces in server 2016 which are started via the API from an external application. I studied the "Migrating From REST API V2" documentation and understand the changes.What is the correct way to migrate the workspaces? Download them using desktop 2016 and upload them using 2019? I understand there are no guarantees and will check outputs but should this work in general? Or is this a real no go.For desktop workspace migrations I copy - paste all transformers in a new workspace and then upgrade them individually, or just rebuild the entire workspace. But I would not prefer to do that for all server workspaces if not needed.

Bought a new computer and are trying to install my FME again.When I use the original installationfile (fme-desktop-2013-SP2-win-x86.msi) the computer says that the administrator has blocked the installation and I should contact him/her but I am the only one using my computer?How can I get around that, I have win 10 pro 64-bit

Workbench extension successfully runs within ArcGIS Pro 2.4 but standalone Workbench (2019.1) throws the Dependency Check Failed dialog.Licensing Assistant shows the type as Desktop Data Interoperability Edition (floating). Hello,I have just installed a new FME server on a new VM. I am able to send out emails using telnet on the VM using SMTP. Hello,I have just finished to install FME Server (build 19 617).(Installation with our own Oracle db).I can connect to the Web interface, launch workspaces, build automations, create new user, publish workspace, etc. BUT I CANNOT create a new Database Connection (Oracle or geodatabase, etc.). When I tried I get this message : The rest api "/fmerest/v3/namedconnections/connections" get a code 500 in response. I also tried to publish a workspace with a database connection but I get this message : Database connections access failed - FME Server encountered an error and reported the following message.929028:SQL Query SELECT NCID FROM fme_nc_namedconnections WHERE connectionname = ? FME Server throws this error when I try to create a new user account: Error: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: duplicate key value violates unique constraint "fme_useraccount_pkey" Detail: Key (useraccount_id)=(#) already exists. where "#" increments after every attempt. It seems to be getting hung up on this user account id every time I try to create a new user. There is no such user already created. I have created a bunch of FME server Apps (FME 2019), and they're highly appreciated. Easy to use and to understand. When used with the right input data it's just fenomenal.However, when something goes wrong (usually faulty indata) there isn't much information about what went wrong. It just says FAILURE. In cases that yielded zero output features. It just says COMPLETED (and does not present the results because there are none).Is it possible (of course it is) to get somewhat a somewhat more verbose response? How do I do it? Is it a notification service? Where do I start? I am at a complete loss. (It was 2 years ago I went to the FME server course and the memory seems to be of non stick material)I just want the server app to respond with something at the app running page. Please save me!

How to share publicly a published FME service, I’m not sure how to share publicly a published FME service. as I wanted to access a particular fme service, I’m required to push logins as shown in the screenshot below. How to make the fme service executed with no logins?    

I have I directory watch on FME Server that triggers a workspace to move a file that inserts into the directory watch-folder, to the FME-server with a SystemCaller transformer.It works fine when using a file that dosen´t cointain any special characters, however when I have a file with å, ä or ö the SystemCaller fails according to the log-file. In the log file, a file that spells "åäö.pdf" have the name "åäö.pdf" in the log file.However the path to the file also contain å, ä and ö, but spells correctly in the logfile. I´ve tried and wright the filename-attribute that generates from the JSONFlattener to a txt-file from the same workspace, and it also spells correctly.I´ve tried to add "@echo off && chcp 1252 &&" infront och the copy-command in the SystemCaller, but it dosen´t seem to work for the filename. I have created an FME app to run a workbench on the server. From documentation, it looks like anyone with the link to the app can run this workbench. Is there a way to restrict access? 

Is there any way to configure automations or publications such that a workspace can be triggered via email from one of several senders? Both publications and automations can filter by email subject, and the Filter action in automations can then filter emails based on one sender, but there appears to be no way to filter based on a list of senders ("from either Person A or Person B"). Is this in fact the case?Details, if they help: we'd like to enable a certain work group of five people to be able to trigger a specific workspace via email. While they can and will also use a specific subject line, I'd like to be able to ensure that no one outside the work group can trigger that same workspace even if they know the "key" subject line.Is there a way to achieve this, short of using five separate Filter actions per automation? I am using a Survey123 survey to trigger a topic on server when a new survey submission is received. The topic, in turn, triggers a workspace which takes in the subscriber_content (containing the survey submission content) and parses it out via some JSON extractors to grab specific survey fields and process them a particular way. What I want is for the same topic to trigger an email in server, sending along the processed subscriber_content. Currently, I am not able to use an emailer inside the workspace to do this -- needs to be a part of the automation itself. How can I make this happen?Example/detail: The workspace processes the subscriber_content to extract attributes of buildingID, floorName, and roomName. I want the automation to also send an email containing the buildingID, floorName, and roomName in a readable format -- ie, not the raw JSON subscriber_content

Unable to run the FME Master workflow which has 39 workflows as single workflow through FME Server. It used to run fine until 2 weeks back. Now,It is returning an ORA-12154 error in the log file. Hi everbody, Following this tutorial I've set up everything in FME Server to receive and process certain emails, and everthing works really fine. The only missing detail is to save the received and processed email to the file system (*.msg preferred). Is there any possibility to do this? By the way, I have to use IMAP, and for the next few days (or weeks?) we'll still be using FME 2017.1 before updating to FME 2019.1Any hint is appreciated ;-)

Hi,I am working on a classical installation of FME server 2017 and after running the post installation script (as admin) I can't see the FME Server SMTP relay service and I can't find the following file to configure the service:<FME Server Install DIR>\\Utilities\\smtprelay\\james\\apps\\james\\SAR-INF\\config.xmlAccording to documentation I should have it at this time of installation.Is there something new in FME 2017 or am I missing something in my installation?@kenatsafe: I can't follow your documentation because I even don't have the service available.Anyone having problem recieving email with FME server?
