Workbench extension successfully runs within ArcGIS Pro 2.4 but standalone Workbench (2019.1) throws the Dependency Check Failed dialog.Licensing Assistant shows the type as Desktop Data Interoperability Edition (floating). Hello,I have just finished to install FME Server (build 19 617).(Installation with our own Oracle db).I can connect to the Web interface, launch workspaces, build automations, create new user, publish workspace, etc. BUT I CANNOT create a new Database Connection (Oracle or geodatabase, etc.). When I tried I get this message : The rest api "/fmerest/v3/namedconnections/connections" get a code 500 in response. I also tried to publish a workspace with a database connection but I get this message : Database connections access failed - FME Server encountered an error and reported the following message.929028:SQL Query SELECT NCID FROM fme_nc_namedconnections WHERE connectionname = ? AND username IS NULL failed. Error: Unsupported featureRequest to http://xxxxxxxxxx/fmerest/v3/namedconnections/connections returned status code 500. I found a dirty workaround :1. Insert a new row in the table fme_nc_namedconnections in the Oracle FME Server database2. Then the connection is visible

I have created a bunch of FME server Apps (FME 2019), and they're highly appreciated. Easy to use and to understand. When used with the right input data it's just fenomenal.However, when something goes wrong (usually faulty indata) there isn't much information about what went wrong. It just says FAILURE. In cases that yielded zero output features. It just says COMPLETED (and does not present the results because there are none).Is it possible (of course it is) to get somewhat a somewhat more verbose response? How do I do it? Is it a notification service? Where do I start? I am at a complete loss. (It was 2 years ago I went to the FME server course and the memory seems to be of non stick material)I just want the server app to respond with something at the app running page. Please save me!

My FME Server environment has one engine that is 32-bit. The others are 64. I have a workspace configured to run under a queue (Engine 3) that is 32-bit, and consists of FMEServerJobSubmitter transformers, launching workspaces that are required to run as 32-bit, due to format limitations. The FMEServerJobSubmitters are configured with the following parameters:Submit Jobs: In SequenceWait for Jobs to Complete: YesSub-processes are being generated and run under Engine 3, however, while the parent workspace runs as 32-bit, the child processes run (and fail) as 64-bit. This is apparent in the log files based on where the FME_HOME parameter is pointing to. Is there any way to have the sub-processes run as 32-bit, preferably with the same engine? Note:I need to perform further processing once all the child processes have completed, so I am open to other suggestions to notify another application that this has occurred

There is a bug in FME Server 2015 1.3.1. that lets me change the number of engines on the core-server, but not on the attached engine-only server. Default is 2 engines per server, 4 in total. I want 3 engines to run on the core, and 1 on the other server. Is there a way to edit fme-engine config file to force ONLY 1 engine even if there are licenses available?

Hello,We are in a process of upgrading fme 2016 to 2019. After some tests that passed well we need to move all our components to use fme 2019.  Normally what we would do is to create backup of fme 2016 and restore it on 2019. And this is what we did initially, Then for 2 weeks both 2016 and 2019 was running thats why we have some new things on 2016 and some on 2019.  What we need to migrate from 2016 to 2019 are only schedules that were created after given date.  For some reason I can't create normal backup on fme 2016 right now. I wrote it to safe support and they know that in this build there is a bug so we would need to apply fot fix.  My idea to do it in a different way is to:  1. Use fme 2016 desktop to export FME Server Configuration to ffs file (choosing repository and scheduling) 2. Run fme 2016 desktop to write from ffs file to fme server configuration of fme 2019 only scheduling with insert mode.  Will it work and I will not do any damages to new fme 2019 database configu

Hello I have just upgraded to FME Desktop 2019.1 and am getting a few errors when running a published workspace in FME Cloud.How is FME Cloud Upgraded? and is it necessary to keep the two in sync?

I upgraded FME Server to 2019.1 and my streaming services are failing. It appears that 'FME_SERVER_WEB_URL' in the request did not pick up the change when I enabled HTTPS during the install. It is still showing the original HTTP url with Port 8080 (http://SERVERNAME:8080). Is there another file besides fmeServerConfig.txt that needs to be modified? I have a distributed architecture deployment: All components are on a single machine except the Web Services component, that is on a separate machine. I upgraded from 2019.0.1 to 2019.1 and now my streaming services are not providing an output. Thanks in advance.-Mark

My company has an MITM proxy setup, which is resulting in many cloud based service requests failing. Obviously it only applies to any requests via HTTPS, so I am wondering how other people have gotten around these issues? I have set the correct proxy settings within the 'Network Proxy' options and have even setup custom proxies for each of the cloud based services, but still no success.For instance, attempting to use the HTTPCaller to access the HERE Geocoder results in the following error (the blacked out proxy is correct):An example of another issue I am encountering is when I attempt to create a CartoDB connection, I am receiving the following error (the blacked out domains are correct):I have tried everything other than asking my IT department to white list the cloud based services. Update: Newb issue with FME Server. Opened up port 587 on the FME Cloud security settings. So as with most things I solved my own problem minutes after I gave up and asked for help.I am building an application using FME Server (cloud) and part of it is an email exchange. Using the extensive tutorials provided by Safe (thank you for that) I am able to receive and process the email from an Office 365 accout with imap settings outlook.office365.com and publish to a READ_EMAIL notifier. The issue I am now having is setting up the SMTP settings. Following the great tutorials by Safe I can successfully send via my gmail account. However, Office365 seems to be another animal. I've logged into the account and used the specified settings:Server name: smtp.office365.comPort: 587Encryption method: TLSI've tried every permutation of this (SSL, TLS, nothing, etc.) The only place I can see the difference is there is no option to verify the certificate (yes or no.) Hello,We have fme 2016.We have two engine servers, on each one 4 engines. What is the algorithm for choosing engine to each new job will be assigned? Let's say that we are not using any routing tags.   

Root certificates are automatically placed in “C:\\Program Files\\FMEServer\\Utilities\\jre\\lib\\security”. This is where the keystore is and also our self-signed root certificate with others. In “C:\\Program Files\\FMEServer\\Server\\fme\\ssl” we can find only the PEM file which is obtained from Mozilla (public root certificates). Unfortunately we cannot find anywhere how to use the keystore instead of a standard PEM file, as FME takes only public root certificates. Now we made some changes in the PEM file to import the root certificate. But how to officially import an Self-Signed SSL certificate in keystore on FME Server? Kind regards,GeoJan 

Hi all, I have a list of urls (50 in number). For each url there are 10s of thousends requests to be made.12 engines in my fme server.What I want to do use 5 of fme engines to run the jobs in parallel - so 10 jobs each engine.How can I do that?At the moment I have:xls reader -> sampler2 (first 10 urls) -> FMEServerJobSubmitter1 (submit in sequence, wait to finish) , sampler2 (connected to sampler1,not_sampled port (first 10) -> FMEServerJobSubmitter2 and so on. But it just runs the 10 jobs on one engine in FMEServerJobSubmitter1 one after another.

I'm having the following issue. The FME server engine can't access ESRI license in order to read / write to GDB. Although the ESRI license is clearly available (I can open and use ESRI products on the host machine). License type is set to Floating (concurrent) and borrowed for 30 days. Hello, I have few workspaces created in FME 2016. If I would run them as they are in FME 2019 would they use old version of transformers or new (potentially with some improvements)?

Filter tasks can be added to FME Server 2019 Automations, as demonstrated during the FME World Tour.The example shown during the WT was filtering incoming Shape file datasets after a Directory Watch trigger had fired so that the subsequent workspace would only process files with a .shp extension. However, when the Automation logs are viewed, it indicates that a filter.fmw workspace is being run to apply the filter. Does this filter workspace tie up an available Engine license? If so, could it cause contention on a system with only 1 available Engine?

I am trying to install FME Desktop. And I am getting a which reads, "The cabinet file cab7.cab required for the installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading the cD-ROM or a problem with the package". Could anybody please help me on this?

I work a lot with Power BI and now have a request for a weekly report using information that is best run through FME ... so my idea was to automate running the workspace using windows task scheduler, have FME export an excel document that replaces the older version every time the workspace is run, import the excel sheet to BI and then put the BI report on a refresh schedule ... There are several problems though: Does anyone have any obvious, obscure or creative solutions?1. The workbench is saved on a mapped drive and I'm hesitant to put a copy on my personal drive, though I'm not ruling it out. The task scheduler (and cmd prompt) cant seem to find the file when I try through the mapped drive. 2. I've set up a schedule in Windows Task Scheduler but it doesn't seem to be running properly. Even if it says it ran successfully, no excel table is exported, like it does when I run it in the FME application. (I've also tried to do so in command prompt, because I figured I
