I have a lot of shapefiles that I want to clip with different areas which I read from MSAcces and I want to select the area that I need for the certain shapfile and clip the shape-file. I use SQL Executor connected to a MS Access database to select the area that I want to use but I don't get the area. Do anyone have any solution?

I hope someone can help me further here.I have a simple json file. I'm using FME Quick translator to transform Json into access.mdb format. The translation goes fine, no errors come during the transformation. But data is missing from the result file. i want to convert from date format 01.12.2000 to 2000 in one attribute  some times it is working great with my input excel files and some files show me this msg . The below feature caused the translation to be terminatedDateTimeConverter_2_<Rejected>(TeeFactory): DateTimeConverter_2_<Rejected> what is important for me to read the last 4 digit  Could someone provide me solution for this issue .Thanks for help

I am attempting to clip a .dwg file by a shapefile with 121 features and would like an output .dwg file for each of the 121 features. I am attempting to set up a fan out but am a bit rusty. I feel like there is something simple that I am missing.

Hi, I'm trying to practice with spatial thinking, and I have a set of lines that I want to merge to a single point in the middle (see attached). The way I want to these lines merge into the point, is to use the nearest point of the line to the point in the middle of all the lines, and making the lines longer than they were previously, not just snapping them and moving them.

Hi!  I've been converting point clouds to mesh recently with the PointCloudSurfaceBuilder. Now Im facing a dilemma that my resulting mesh consists of way to many triangles for me to work with later. I've been mixing the triangulation parametres up trying to get as smooth but then as big triangles as I can. I can reach a somewhat smooth result that defines, but the amount of triangles is absurd.My latest aproaches has been writing a mesh with "small" triangulation parameters and then trying to "fill" the gaps in between.  Do you guys have any suggestions on how to decrease the amount of the triangles? or piece together a situation like in the sparse mesh at the bottom? Many Thanks.Erdem 

I have an AutoCAD drawing in ground coordinates and need to get this into a usable projection to use in ArcGIS Pro. Is FME able to do this? I have the math that is typically used to do such a conversion (below), but I am not quite clear how to implement this in an FME workspace:  To Transform Ground to UTM CoordinatesExample: Point100 (Ground) 13262.582 m N, 4380.119 m E1. Shift back to the original scaled coordinate value:13262.582 m + 6,000,000 m = 6013262.582 m N 4380.119 m + 410,000m = 414380.119 m E2. Hello, I am using the bufferer tool to flow through as the filter to a Spatial filter transformer. The candidate layer is a point feature dataset.I am running into a problem when the buffered areas are overlapping (see screenshot) I need the point layer features to populate in each different buffered area. The output I am using is a fan out to CSV based on the ident of the created buffer and need the point layer to be included in each of the buffers.Currently the points are only appearing in one of the overlapping areas and being left out of the remaining overlapping areasTo summarise, if 1 point feature is contained in many buffer areas I need this point feature be outputted to all buffer areas in the FAN out CSV file.Screen shot – green points are the centre of the buffer (filter) red points are the points the candidate is usingThanks David

ArcGIS has a tool called Central Feature, which extracts the centre point from a cluster using a weighted value and case field. Anything similar in FME?

I've got two dataset, one is original and the other is revised, they have same attribute schema and a unique FEATUREID attribute to pair them. I want to detect which attributes are changed and write them into a new attribute with a separator like "/". Neither ChangeDetector nor Matcher will work, they can only detect which two are different but not the attribute in them. I'm thinking about creating a list with different attributes, then use ListConcatenator to write the new attribute. So my question is how can I create that list? @takashi @Mark2AtSafe

I have one large elevation model and numerous smaller elevation models (same resolution) which are within the area of the larger elevation model. The areas of the smaller elevation models are generated from a point cloud and clipped out according to a polygon (bridge). Now I want to merge the smaller elevation model areas into the larger DEM (wherever the smaller elevation models have a value, this should be used and if they have no value, the large elevation model should be used. My attempts with the RasterMosaicer unfortunately fail, because I cannot influence which elevation model is the "last" one. Is there another possibility to combine the different elevation models?

Is it possible to colour 3D shapes in the data inspector based on an attribute? I have 3D features that stack on top of each other and seeing all shapes in one shade of grey makes them hard to tell apart and check.

Hi there,I am running a Python script which calculates the new attribute using Python caller. When I display/exposed the new attribute to output, I found that all values of the new attribute shown in each column of the newly added attribute. It should display a single value to each column of the newly added attribute. Result unexpected by Static Calculator i have A B C Columns,each column has different years so i want to count how many year duplicate or not in each column and sum the count attribute at the endso i should do count and sum for each column A B C and get table as result for 3 column in one table beside eachother .so what i did exactly i used 3 static calculator and each one i defined count and analyze to attribute and output of first a input for second and output of second as input for third but i found the result is incorrect but if i used two static calculator ,the result is erfect but only for 2 columns but i want to do for 3 column .then i used aggregator to sum the countDoes we have a way to use one static calculator and do sum for 3 columns and count once a time i want to count each the first 3 columns for year and get the sum of each count but i do not want to count empty cell if exist.Thanks .Thanks

I have two datasets which need to joined. Both datasets store the attributes 'CI_nummer' (numeric) and 'NaamObject'. An example value of the last looks like: ZN VKS MSI A16L 46,935 1I want to join the datasets if both these attributes match. . Beside this, the NaamObject also needs to match for a certain minimum of characters. ZN VKS MSI A16L 46,935 146,935 these numbers represent a distance value. 46 kilometres and 935 meters. When the difference between two distance values (dataset A versus B) is less than 500 meters I want FME to see these values as identical. For example:These two values should be considered as identical:ZN VKS MSI A16L 46,935 1ZN VKS MSI A16L 46,835 3 These two values should be considered as identicalN VKS MSI A16L 46,935 1ZN VKS MSI A16L 47,122 3These two values should not be considered as identicalN VKS MSI A16L 46,935 1ZN VKS MSI A16L 48,122 3I am thinking about something with a regular expression? I am confused a little bit about TesterSo I have two questions about tester :At first :i have attribute and I want to write for the same attribute around 15 field ,if contains then pass .As example same attribute ,if contains v ,passed . So I have to write 15 times for same attribute , and it is too much ,is there easy way to give tester once a time to pass .if conditions occur . Second Question :I have around 100 field ,in Attribute named building ,I want From tester to check if Name includes as example sam , then pass with another attributes but I does not want to change the name of building every time from the parameter inside tester , I have too many names for building and I want to do excel file out my workspace but as input file inside my code and I change everytime in excel file ,the name of building that I want to pass with another attributes then I got my result only include this building name and another Attributes. Thanks in advance  

I have a question similar to this. However, following and reading the links, it is not addressing my task, so far I can tell.I have a million lines, which I need to analyze to a line density raster, usually done in ArcMap Spatial Analyst Line Density function. The function needs to: 1) take in input lines, 2) adjust cell size, 3) search radius, 4) area unit. I can do it ArcMap, no problem, but as the analysis task is a part of a longer data extraction and modifying process in FME Workbench, I try to keep it there.
