Hi,I can't find an EPSG code (4083) in the "source coordinate system" list, in the Reprojector Transformer. Is there any way to load it? My FME version is 2018.1 Thanks!

Passing cookie as header in HTTP caller

Hi, I am using HTTPcaller in FME 2020 to send an HTTP request to a secured service. I have specified a basic authentication. When I run it, I get 401 error.If I copy the cookie from Chrome dev tools to FME HTTPCaller header, it works.However the cookie will expire, particularly as I will run my workspace once a week every week. How do I get a cookie generated for every call in HTTPcaller ?I have tried Save Cookies option, but don't see any difference. The request fails when the cookie expires.

Doesn't write a file into a local directory via Workspace in FME Server

I have a workbench, which calls a REST API via HTTPCaller and get a Response in JSON Format. Then it writes the response via a FeatureWriter into a directory as a json-File. That works with no trouble in FME. But as soon I published it for FME Server and start the process there, it doesn't write no jsonfile into the directory. The workspace runs on the FME Server without problem. I testet with different workflows like AttributeFileWriter etc. It never writes a file......

Feature Writer with CSV and >100 files?

I am trying to split a very large csv-file for further processing. I currently read the input, count the features, divide by a set number of max lines, round to integer and use this attribute as a filename to write new files with a feature writer.Somehow, the attribute is calculated correctly but using it as a filename results in a maximum number of 100 files being written. The feature writer then starts overwriting the first file again.Am I missing something?

Problem with transformation from shp to CityGML.

I'm beginner user of FME Desktop. Transformation from shp to Citygml is working, but when i'm trying to export to CityGML a values that are in table (csv) i can't do it. I'm trying to move values from attribute code_citygml to attribut citygml_function, but i can't do connection and finally those values from code_citymgl are missing in final file. Could someone show me right transformation tool or place in model when this sholud be done? Thanks.

Fill attribute values but not for all the records

Hi. I have two datasets. One of them has 25562 records. The other one has 16310 and it contains the values for an attribute that I want to put in the larger dataset. I have tried with AttibuteMerger and Attribute Joiner, but the result is a dataset with only the 16310 records that both datasets share. How can I fill de 16310 records and keep the rest empty on the larger dataset? Thanks!

KML folders are not creating sub-groups

The project I am working on requires creating kmls after merging ESRI files and Excel spreadsheet data. I am working in Data Interoperability so I don't know how to export a workbench but I have included screen shots below of my data. I found the knowledge base article about how to create folders, subfolders, and groups, https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/221/kml-folders.htmlI inserted the create folders where I thought was appropriate but the only level I get is the Subfolder, the groups don't come into separate categories. Other problems since adding this process to create folders the file name is no longer being saved with the datestamp at the end of the file name. The output is also giving me 3 files, only 1 worksIt names the ParcelLabel folder with the name of the parent folder "ParcelStatus". The names that show up for the folders are the kml_id not the kml_name.Images below, the third folder is structured just like the 2nd one so I did not repeat the image. Ap

GoogleDriveConnector Shareable and Direct Download Links Not Populating

Hi all!Has anyone else had the problem of doing an Upload with GoogleDriveConnector, and then getting <null> or <missing> in the attributes specified as 'Shareable Link' and 'Direct Download Link'? My colleague and I just noticed that one of our automated workbenches started leaving these blank some time in January. Perhaps Google made an API change around that time and this is no longer possible? The actual file upload goes through fine, so the transformer isn't actually failing, it's just not giving any values for these.

Just updated windows 10 and can no longer boot up FME 2019.2.0. Any ideas how to fix?

Create new feature by tracing and splitting existing polyline feature

Hello Learned Friends,I have a Point layer where I need to convert each Point feature into a Polyline feature which traces along a set length (say 25 metres) of the nearest neighbouring polyline feature from a separate layer.In the crude example below, the BEFORE scenario details an example of my starting position, whereby I have 3x Points (in red), plus 3x Polyline reference features (in grey).The AFTER scenario details what I am attempting to achieve, and ideally the grey Polyline features (A,B, and C) will become split features along the length where the new red polyline features have been inserted.Does anyone have any ideas of how i can achieve this?Many thanks,RB

DateTimeStamper only stamps the first item

Hi,We have a problem with the DateTimeStamper in a workspace. The customer works in FME 2019.2.2 build 19817. As you can see from this screenshot it only stamps the first row with the date: I've tried to rebuild the same workspace from scratch, but I cant reproduce the error. The customer still gets the error when he is trying. These are the Parameters for the DateTimeStamper:Does anyone know where this error can come from? Workspace Runner, need help

I am failing to get Workspace Runner working.I have over a thousand MapInfo tables that I want to process. (I am only trying three tables right now)Each table has a single record (a point object).My workspace runner is set up with;Directory and File Pathnames Reader(path filter *.tab)Workspace Runner(Wait for job to complete = YesSource MapInfo tab files = path_windows)But it only processes the first table, although the transformer reports three successesThe workspace that does the work names the output file according to an attribute column, which is different for each table, so it should know to give the three outputs three different names

Cylindrical to Conic reprojection of Global rasters

I'm trying to reproject rasters from WGS84.PlateCarree to LambertAzimuthalEqualAreaSouthPole using a Reprojector Transformer,they have varying extent/ Resolution and Spacing. It often fails, my suspicion is that it has a lot to do with the extents of the input raster, particular when those extents are approaching linear unit values that represent the dateline and 90 / -90 latitude receptively . Sometimes the transformer runs successfully but just produces a very narrow vertical strip other times it fails and leaves translation log outputs like this(You can see the extents of the input raster here i was using). Are there any set rules that i should be following to guarantee success?I can give more details and examples if necessary. Many thanksDavid

Writing nested attributes from a GML to a PostGis table

I have several GML files that I read via the FeatureReader, and format =«GML» and reading all feature types. An unknown amount of these GML files results in Nested Attributes. Nested Attributes is appearing in the workflow as lists with one to several sub-levels. So far so good. But the problem occurs when I want to use the jsonpacker to create json strings that I am able to write to a PostGis table. The jsonpacker demands that I declare what attribute to pack. But making a generic workflow to handle any GML files and then pack all the lists without knowing the names of the lists at forehand, makes this a difficult task. I need one json string for every list, and the name of the json attribute should be the top level name in every list. So in stort : I am creating a generic workspace that packs all lists individually to just as many unique json string attributes. Sorry for not posting any pictures of the workspace, but all I have is a generic reader of GML files that results in an unkn

PostgreSQL reader: bad_expected_access

Hello everyone,I encountered a similar issue as the one described in the following post:https://knowledge.safe.com/questions/95574/problem-with-postgis-reader-in-fme-2019-infinity-v.html Basically I had an invalid date in my PostgreSQL table (no idea how it got there). It had a value of 201910-11-10 which of course is not valid whatsoever. FME 2020 ( Build 20238 - WIN64) throws an error when you try to read this table using a Reader, a FeatureReader or an SQLExecutor/creator.I was able to bypass this by adding a where clause upon reading (e.g. mydatefield < '2021-01-01').I'm not looking for a solution for my problem here. I just wanted to add this to the forum so that people who encounter a similar issue know how to solve it. The FME software currently throws an error which is not really useful for debugging purposes (POSTGRES reader::bad_expected_access).

FME Server and tranformers from Shared FME Folders ?

Hi list.I have built a number of custom transformers, using FMX and Python, and storing them in the shared folders structure. This works (apart from some kinks) well in Desktop.Now I've built a workspace with such a transformers, published the workspace to an FME Server, and tried to run the workspace as a job.And it fails with: Python Exception <ModuleNotFoundError>: No module named 'Xxxxx' How do I tell FME Server to look for the custom transformers in my shared folders. They're located on a network drive, so it has access.Cheers

Compare Spatial two FeatureClasses

Hi, following situation: we have a SDE-FeatureClass with parcel(plot)-data. Every week we got new data in a FGDB with the same datamodel from another source. Now we want to process of compare the two Featureclass, if there are now spatial difference and then update the sde Featureclass with the new Information of the FGDB Featureclass. If we make a spatial selection via ArcMap we got 50 difference between the data. We try the same in FME via SpatialFilter and other transformerprocess, but we got always 0 difference. Is there a better workaround?

Is it possible to write to excel and preserve the formulas in one column that's in excel?

I'm working on setting up a script that reads in an Excel file. I'm merging the spreadsheet with another based on a unique column and the owner doesn't want the formulas in one column to be disturbed. They still want access to view the formula. Is it possible to write to that sheet but still preserve the formula?

SDE Connection Files and Versions

Hi,I'm trying to figure out a way to create a couple of paramaters in my workflow so that the user can select from a picklist of SDE Connection Files and available Versions to use in the various FeatureReader transformers in the workflow. Is there a way to do this without hard-coding all the values in ahead of time?? Thanks,

Hello, I have a question about a XML. My XML has this result: <gml:Point gml:id="id-5d1fd60a-2737-40c8-bc59-06e25609b350-0" srsName="EPSG:28992" srsDimension="3"><gml:pos>But i need <gml:Point gml:id="id-ebfadba2-47a2-4027-b901-86ccacbb1004-0" srsName="EPSG:28992"><gml:pos srsDimension="3">How can i fix this? My workbench use the _geometry function to give this result, is it possible to change the position from de gml: pos?
