We need a way to detect/test for Arcs in our Esri SDE database. We manage a large road line segment. The system that uses this data does not accept Arcs, just polylines. Previously, we edited our data in ArcMap, then run a nightly job to check our data in FME. Using the PathSplitter, followed by the GeometryFilter we could then find any Arcs that had been introduced into our data. Now that we are editing our data within ArcGIS Pro, it seems that Arcs show up as an Arc within Pro, but in FME, the segments show up as Lines and are not flagged with the workflow, mentioned above, using PathSplitter and GeometryFilter. How can we filter/test to find the Arcs in our data? UsingFME 2024.1ArcPro 3.2.3ESRI SQL SDE 10.9.1 Example Arc attached in FGDB. Then the Feature is opened in ArcPro, and an edit session is started to ‘Edit Vertices’, we can see that there is a verity that controls the curve of the line.

We have 3 different FME servers, how can we modify the FLOW UI so that you can easily distinguish one server from the other?

I followed https://support.safe.com/hc/en-us/articles/25407443807117-Getting-Started-with-Microsoft-SharePoint#WebConnection https://support.safe.com/hc/en-us/articles/30678084674189-How-to-Create-a-SharePointOnlineConnector-Web-Connection-with-Application-Permissions In the second URL, it suggests to have but I only have Sites.Selected or Sites.ReadAll option from the ADMIN. After adding the required parameters, I do not get an error but when add sites I get an error. I am using options/parameters for Download Search Query: Unable to execute query: 'Read past EOF' Please suggest and help.

I'm using FME to write spatial data to a SQL Server database via an SDE connection, but the table is created without the spatial data. How can I ensure the spatial data is written correctly? Error message below for refernce An error occurred while attempting to create the feature class 'EL.DATA'. The error number from ArcObjects is: '-2147216061'. Hello everyone,I performed a feature merger between two shapes and obtained a list from this transformer. I have a maximum of 96 elements for a single code, so my resulting table will have many columns.So I want to get this: How should I do this? THANKS

Hi list. I have a master workspace in Workbench, which starts with a Creator calling two SQLExecutors, and eventually calls two WorkspaceRunners. Each SQLExecutor fetches a list of tables in a dataset, adding their feature count (numbers of rows). I specifically tell FME to process the smaller dataset (i.e. its SQLExecutor) first, but each “thread” also have a (blocking) Sorter transformer (sorting by feature count) before calling (its) WorkspaceRunner. It seems that the result from the two blocking Sorter transformers are processed by FME in the wrong order regardless of which order the features have arrived. How can I ensure that the Sorter for the smaller dataset (i.e. VAT above) executes first, before the Sorter for the larger dataset ? As is seen, I tried to rename the Sorters, so the smaller was alphabetically listed before the larger, but it didn’t change anything. The Logger logged the larger dataset first.

Hi I have spent far too many hours trying to make the change detector dynamically pick up changes. The scenario is: I have 10 datasets that need to be compared between the original and updated databases. Each dataset has only a few fields that need to be checked for changes. These fields are different for each dataset. I have a CSV which is acting as a 'config' file and contains a list of the field names to check for each dataset I have 2 workbenches; the first workbench gets all of the information from the config file, then passes through the information via user-parameters to the Change Detection workbench via workspace runner. Even though I have created a user parameter for the "Match Selected Attributes" config in the ChangeDetector, I can't pass through this information via the workspace runner. It ONLY works if I run the Change Detection workbench individually, and this isn't linked to the config file, so it's not dynamic at all. I got so frustrated trying to figure this out that

I am having maybe a similar but different issue with the mbtiles writer. For some reasons the Zoom level dialog is not making a lot of sense to me. In my case I would like to force the writer to write out levels 0 to 11. In my head I am thinking I would set minimum zoom level strategy to “Lower” and then the Minimum Zoom Level to 11. My assumption is that when we talk about level it matches up with the table below. However with the above setting I get a mbtiles file with just one level in i (see results 1 below for log). If I instead set Base zoom to Upper and Minimum Zoom to 0 (run 2 below for log), I get a file with 10 levels. This is close to what I want, but I want 11 levels. Any ideas on how to better explain the dialog to me and get me 11 levels?? thanks so much!!! Greetings! I have a simple workbench that runs without issue on Form (v2025.0) that uses a CSV reader that lists File_name, file_url in which the url is a SFTP://hostname:22/path/filename.typ The CSV reader is linked to the FTPCaller. This process works fine on Form (desktop) and loads the files to the respective server and path. However, when the workbench is run from the server, is runs Successful-but does not load the files; in the log there is an error: FTPCaller (FTPFactory): FTP/FTPS/SFTP transfer error: Could not resolve hostname Any suggestions on why?

I have been able to successfully connect to Asana by using two resources (attached at the bottom) and extract a list of task names and custom field names, but I have been unsuccessful in using the JSONFormatter, JSONFlattener, and the JSONExtractor tools to create a list of tasks and their corresponding custom field values for a specific Asana project. If anyone is experienced in working with the Asana API to collect this kind of data from a particular Asana project, I’d be really appreciative of any helpful tips to create a final output of a project’s tasks and their custom fields. Dear Team, I have an Emailer transformer at the end of my FME workspace (FMW file) that is configured to send a completion notification to my Gmail account. However, I am encountering an error when it tries to send the email. I have already updated the Emailer transformer, Python, and other relevant components, but the issue persists. But from desktop it runs perfectly. only when i run from command prompt it gives error.("D:\Program Files\FME2024\fme.exe" D:\fvt2\1_spatial_tables_ver9.fmw ) Could someone in the group please help me identify what might be causing the problem? I am trying to read/write from ArcGIS Portal in FME Flow with a parameterized Web Connection, but am not able to select a connection in FME Flow. Hi everyone, I have a problem that I can't seem to solve. I have a workspace that writes data from a PostGIS database to a feature layer on our portal using the ArcGIS portal writer. When this workspace is run locally on FME form, it works perfectly fine. When it is uploaded to portal and run there, it seems to work fine (the amount of features written is identical to the amount when run locally), but some important fields are not filled. Flow and Form both use the same web connection with the same authorization parameters. Why is it that a identical workspace that runs locally can fill all fields fine, but when run on portal it seems to not be able to fill these fields??? I have put testfilters and loggers in between to check if the fields actually have values and they do, so it must be a writer quirk. Field names between the features and writer are identical as well (all lowercase) so I am at a loss... I am using fme form/flow 2023.2.2 and ArcGIS portal 11.1

Hi, I have a task in which I have station values attached to the line. I need to select station values and split the line at the station points. Some station points are easy to split; for example, 1789+00, but others, like 1201+50, are not that simple. I am trying to create points between two station points. I want to place points 10 ft apart and calculate station values so that I can split the line at those values. I have attempted to generate points between two station values using the Densifier transformer, but I am not achieving the desired outcome. If someone can assist me in this situation, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi, I am having an issue of trying to use a dgn cell library and seed file on FME Flow for point features. The workbench works correctly on desktop but not Flow. Hi, I am trying to set up a simple update workflow that doesn’t like me. I am trying to update my enterprise portal with GDB updates and will eventually want to have this run everyday but for now I am just trying to figure out how to update one shapefile and repeat this 30 times. Right now I haver set up a GDB reader going directly into ESRi ArcGIS portal feature service writer to update an existing feature in enterprise and I have got it to write the features but it doesn’t want to publish the feature into portal. Can someone help me figure this out?

Hi All, I’m working on a workflow that reads a LAS file storage as blob in a Azure database. I need to clip the LAS file with a polygon (AOI) and then exports the result as LAS file (or other format). After doing some research, the community suggests to set the My AzureBlobStorageConnector settings to download the LAS file and then process the data. My current LAS file is around 10GB and downloading it every time that needs to be clipped is not very good! The total time of downloading the LAS, clip it and re-export it can be crazy! here are my settings: Is there any way to read the LAS file as blob and clip it directly without download it?
