I have 3 tables, a linear tables of sections, a non geometric table of bus lines, and a intermediate table between both, with relations N:M. I need to merge the sections to get the geometry of bus lines. but some of the sections belongs to many bus lines, so I need to "duplicate" some of the sections. Any idea of how to get the geometry of bus lines? Thank you again

HelloIs it possible to create user parameters and save them for use in other workbenches?I have numerous workbenches that all load different data however some of the parameters will be the same and used in every workbench.I have looked at the documentation, but cant see anything obvious. If these created parameters could be saved to either a database, or file to allow sharing with others that would be even better...RegardsAndy  

Hello,on the SchemaScanner transformer, in the data types section, there is a parameter to define the action to be taken for attributes with the value Missing/Null/Empty.When ignore is selected, if an attribute has no entry, it is excluded from the schema. This seems correct for Missing. But is this the case for Null and Empty?In the latter case, shouldn't the attribute remain in the data model?If not, what other prossibility exists for retaining an attribute that has no value entry in the data model? Best regardsPatrick

I am reading into my workbench both dwg and dgn files using two feature readers. I am able to expose the fme_dataset for the dgn file by using an attributeExposer transformer, but the fme_dataset will not be exposed for the dwg files. I am able to get the fme_feature_type and fme_text_string for each FeatureReader. But I want to add the file name (fme_basename) as an attribute to each feature so I know what file it came from. Things I have tried:separate AttributeExposer transformers for each FeatureReaderThe same AttributeExposer transformers for both FeatureReadersAdding fme_basename to the <Generic> Port, along with $(SourceDataset_DWG)checking all of the needed options in Reader > Parameters > Schema AttributesWhen I open the inspector after the Exposer, all of the attribute fields are there but the values are empty. All of this information (file name, project name) comes from published user parameters. How can I add the value for these user parameters into my features

Hello,I have a dataset with 1000 categories (A, B, ...) (please see the following sample). For each category I want to calculate 3 points moving averages. I developed the following workbench that using a Tester filter data for each category and then calculating the 3 points moving averages for one category (here port A). However, for each port of the Tester I should repeat all transformers again (transformer after the Tester), which is difficult for 1000 categories. I created a custom transformer but again I should import the custom transformer 1000 times. In the custom transformer I used a Counter which for each port should start counting from zero. But it is added up after that it is applied for each port. I set the Count Space of the Counter on local. But still didn't work. Can someone please let me know a better way to calculate this moving averages without those all repetitions of transformer. FYI, I am using FME 2022.

I wan to connect to a REST-API with a WebConnection (Token Service), but it doesn't work with the paramters i use. The same parameter in a HTTPCaller are working. Any Idea whats wrong? The token is assingned to the key "jwt". Hi everyone, So basically, my workflow has a httpcaller to make an API call and let's say the call returns a text "yes" or "no" but it takes a while for the call to be completed to return "yes".That's why I wanna do a for loop to make the request every 5 mins until "yes" is returned.Please let me know how I can do this or feel free to suggest a better way if possible. Hi, I'm following the FME Desktop Basic training, now doing exercise "Flood Risk Project" (under "Use Conditional Values"). As it is clear that I'm newbie to FME, so maybe this is a stupid question: where can I find the parameter "Elevation"? See pics attached here. This parameter is not listed in the AttributeManager, nor in other Read items. The FME workspace can be found here. Maybe I overlooked something?

We had numerous SQL Creators based on JDBC connections that worked in both FME Desktop and FME Server. We are in the process of migrating our SQL Creators from JDBC to Microsoft SQL Server Non-Spatial (ADO). In doing so their SQL continues to perform well in Form, but now generates Warnings when executed on Flow. The Warning takes the following form:"Microsoft SQL Server Non-Spatial Reader: Getting Custom SQL schema failed. Custom SQL query 'SELECT ... WHERE ... ORDER BY ...' may execute in an unexpected manner. Make sure all columns are named (any ambiguous columns, e.g. GEOM.STBuffer(1), must have an AS clause). If there is an ORDER BY clause, either remove it or add a TOP clause." Removing the ORDER BY does eliminate the Warnings generated on Flow. However we enjoyed using the power of the database to presort the records prior to being transformed within the workspace.  Why is ORDER BY incompatible with Microsoft SQL Server Non-Spatial (ADO), and what other altern

I have about a hundred or so .csv files. They all live in different folders on the same network. In a database table I have the path and name of each file (something like: "M:\\ExampleFolder\\Example.csv"). As I process each record, I just want to copy each source .csv file to a folder called "D:\\Temp" and rename it "Final.csv". So "M:\\ExampleFolder\\Example.csv" would get copied to "D:\\Temp\\Final.csv" when that record was processed. The next record in the table might be "D:\\ATotallyDifferentFolder\\Different.csv". When that record gets processed I want that file to replace/become the new "D:\\Temp\\Final.csv". I can't seem to figure out how to use the File Copy writer to do this. Any help would be appreciated. I managed a few users for my work and we have a few fixed licence codes under our EULA. Some of these have been reused and to test this process I activated two under my own install of 2022.2. I now have two codes listed under my install and I don't really need either, and there seems to be no way of removing them. I have followed other posts about location the directory where these are stored but there are no files located.  How are these managed? I can see they are re-usable but do they get automatically get removed from the previous machine? Should I uninstall before these get activated elsewhere? Many thanks for any help

I want to upload several pdf maps to AGOL, which I am downloading from Sharepoint. How can I upload over 20 pdfs on AGOL using ArcGISOnline Connector transformer?

I have two GDB Feature Classes: street centerlines (polylines), and cross streets (points). The values in the cross streets field are, for example, in this format "A St/Elm St/Fern Ave". These are all the cross streets at each intersection. ​I am using the PointOnLineOverlayer to join the points at each end of the line. There is one point at each end of each line. I have unchecked Merge Attributes. I have checked Generate List On Output Line.  I checked and all points are snapped to each end of the line.  I have increased the Point Tolerance in the PointOnLineOverlayer in increments up to 50 and there is no change to the output. ​I created 2 Lists, PT(0)_CROSS_ST_NAMES and PT(1)_CROSS_ST_NAMES. PT(0) captures the cross streets (a single point) at one end of the line, PT(1) captures the cross streets (a single point) at the other end of the line. ​When I run the transformer in some situations it duplicates the line and places the cross streets that should be in PT(1)_CROSS_ST_

Hi, I'm trying to dynamically write some features to a Geopackage, but constantly get the error `OGCGEOPACKAGE writer: OGCGEOPACKAGE writer: For feature type 'd_y_n', primary key attribute 'fid' has unsupported type 'mediumint'. Primary key must have type 'int'`. I'm reading the schema and features with a FeatureReader, from a PostGIS database. Dynamic writers for other formats seem to be working fine (obviously not tried them all!). And I've tried manually changing the schema in the workbench (by altering the native type attribute), which also doesn't work. If I manually set the output schema it works, but I can't do that... Any ideas how I could resolve this issue? (Using FME 2021.2 on MacOS)

Hello,I am trying to execute an job in datastreaming via HttpCaller.The message I get back is "HTTP/1.1 401" although I have my login data filled in.I tried to use my usernmae and pw on the browser, it works fine.Just the transformer tells me its not ok.I tried the two possibilities mentioned here for users without a token : https://community.safe.com/s/article/401-unauthorized-error-when-making-fme-server-requDoesn't work either way.... Maybe someone stumbled accross a similar problem and has a solution ?

Hi all, I need a hand integrating this python regex script into the python caller, I basically want to run as per below. I have it all working in python but now have been asked (as work uses FME) to do it here.
