Hi, I‘m stuck at a simple point. I want to make the AttributeKeeper filter from @Value or a User Parameter which is created by the AttributeCreator. Is it possible? I don't find a solution.The goal is to get more attributes late in a row: test_2,test_4,_test_x in the AttributeKeeper from the AttributeCreator/User Parameter.  

I would like to visualise data on the inspector data or in the graphic view after I reprojected it. That would be in the middle of a workspace before using other transformers and just to locate some features. I know it’s possible to write the data in a shape and check the features on another software like QGIS or ArcGIS but I would prefer to do that in FME directly if that’s possible, when I’m building my workspace. Can I do that?

I want to allow selection of multiple records from database in user parameters.For example, I have records a,b,c etc  in a list and I want to select records a and b to be used in FME  workflow. How can I allow user to choose records a and b? 

In a FME Flow Workspace App can users log in.How can I get the username as a variable in my workspace. Each user shall read and edit diffrent datasetts.  

Hello, I am using a "Directory and File Pathnames" reader to pull shapefiles from a folder. I then walk them through a tester to filter out the files that I do not need. All good and working up to this point. The goal is to work on those shapefiles and have a processed shapefile as an output, in the end.  After the tester, I send the "passed" ones to a "FileReader" that outputs the desired features under the <Generic> port.  My question is: how can I write those out and keep the geometry + attributes of the shapefiles for future processing?   I can see them in the Inspector but I cannot figure out how to move on to the next step as the only attributes I see imported to any transformer I add, are the ones from the "Directory and File Pathnames" reader, not the shapefiles themselves.Long story-short, I want to use the shapefiles that passed the "Tester" as readers. 

Hello! I currently have a stored procedure in MSSQL that takes in some parameters and inserts into or updates a SQL view. I’m using a SQLExecutor transformer to run that stored procedure, passing in the feature attributes from FME as parameters for the procedure. I have a process which creates 4 asc files, and then sends them to a zipped file. At the end of this process, this file is to be emailed. I have an attribute creator which creates the file name as ‘attachment’, as it does contain dynamic elements, before using that attribute as the attachment field in the emailer. When i run it on my local computer, it works perfectly fine, and I get an email with all four files zipped. However, when i run it on FME server, the zip file only contains 1 of the four. Regardless if the files have content or not, they should all write to the folder, and then do, i can see in the fmeserver directory, that all 4 files have been zipped up, but when it is emailed, it just seems to delete three of them. The sampler is there so it only sends one email, but the attribute creator refers to the zipped file, which is created in the system caller, so all four should be sent.   

Hi,I would like to populate the "public.pdl_steg" table in PostgreSQL/PostGis with features from a "pdls" shapefile layer. public.pdl_steg includes triggers in some fields.The id_pdls field is of the serial type.The code_pdls field is unique.   The triggers work well in PostGis et QGIS. Shapefile “pdls” table:However, after several attempts, I was unable to add the features from the "pdls" layer to "public.pdl_steg". The execution does not emit any errors and nothing happens.Any help is welcome.

Hi,I am trying to use FME 2023 version to convert OBJ into Cesium 3DTiles.While the conversion is successful, I notice that it causes our application to becomes sluggish, and it also consumes alot more resources. The application I am using is Luciad (https://dev.luciad.com/) and the software vendor has given the following feedback after investigating the Cesium 3D Tiles data:1. The number of .b3dm tiles generated are too few, resulting in each .b3dm being to "heavy" for loading & rendering.2. No sufficient number of "level of details" To demostrate that, I created a small sample and uploaded to https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FYMHx977zB_NAJa74nqMfmLvlMqWKPog/view?usp=sharing.1. Large .b3dm files    a. The .obj that I convert to Cesium 3D Tiles has 330K triangles.    b. Only 2 .b3dm files were created. But it should have at least 33 .b3dm files (330K/10000) since I am using 10000 for Maximum Number of Triangle Faces Per Tile (see 3dtiles_setting.png)    c. It seems like the FME 3DT

Hello, I am trying to create a workbench that will read in all our add/delete tables from our SDE, do a count on the running total of records for each, and export a spreadsheet with the table name, and the counts in each,I’m using a SQL Creator and my SQL statement is something like SELECT COUNT(*) FROM <tablename>,and right now that's not returning me any value even though it was successful? Also, how would I go about coding out to add the next table in?would it be:SELECT COUNT(*) FROM <tablename>unionSELECT COUNT(*) FROM <tablename2>unionand so forth?also for background:We use Microsoft SQL Studio, and I chose the connection as a spatial server.Thanks for any help!

Hello, the problem is the following. I have a duplicateFilter attached to 2 different featuresTypes, which have an attribute in common. I would like, however, that when there are duplicates, the features of a certain type remain in the unique port. In other words: when there are duplicates, I always want the pair of the copy that goes to unique to be of a certain feature type, always the same, and to be able to control it. Any ideas? I need some help with this problem below. As seen below the lines have diffrent attribute ID’s 1,2 and 3. The lines 1 and 3 are moving correctely as a offet 10 meter from their first location, as seen in the picture to the left. But line number 2 are not moving as an offset, as it is an exit ramp with different attributes than line 1 and 3. I want line number 2 to move with line 1 and 3, so they are connected in the same way as the right picture, meaning same direction and shape. I already have a dataset as the right version and my first thought is to create a point layer with start- and endpoints of each line and make them always connected as line 1 and 3 are moving. How should I solve this problem as easy as possible. I have a large roadmap of these lines and problems, so this is just an example.  

I created a few polygons  with topologybuilder and now i need to explode them in order to test some line on line with another feature.ive tried chopper which works greate except the fact that converts the arc in polygons to line and ruins everything. so how do i split these close polygons back to lines and arcs?ivre tried GeometryPartExtractor to filder out arc but the results are arcs and rest of the polygon insted of being a polyline without that part it convert it in cloed polygon

Hello,I want to generate an incrementation from the max value of a column in order to not have duplicate values. The _max value column is not recovered in the counter for the 50 duplicate features :  Any idea ? Thank you 

Attached are simple FME-Workspaces from version 2017 and FME-Form with GeometryPropertySetters and Aggregators and the xml outputs. The 2 workspaces are exactly the same.FME 2017 writes the aixm Marking Element Geometry as expected, but FME-Form does not - the MarkingElement Geometry Feature is missing (Workaround is to use XML-Templater).Any idea, is this a bug?

Hi, I have a text string that looks something like this…LOT 4-6 DP 287 SEC 2-3 SO 345152 I have a regex “(LOT \d+[\s?&-]\d+ DP \d+ ){1,}”  that grabs the LOT 4-6 DP 287 from the text line.How can I split the 4-6 into separate attributes so I end up with Lot 4 DP 287 Lot 5 DP 287 Lot 6 DP 287I could do it with a testfilter but there are unknown combinations. 1-12, 60-62, 78-82 etcAny help is greatly appreciated.Regards, Paul

Hey. Do you have any idea how to solve the sequential processing of input elements on HorizonAngleCalculator? If I have several elements on the input of the Horizontal Transformer, I need one element to be processed and then the next element to follow after that element is processed. After that, I would put a featureholder after the HorizontalAngleCalculator and it might work. I've tried testing the featureholder with counter and filtering features that have already been processed, but somehow I can't get it to work. Thank you very much

Hi Could anyone help please? I have created two connections to Microsoft SharePoint, one for SharePoingOnlineConnector and one for SharePoint List Reader/Writer in FME Form.When i use either after uploading to FME Flow i get this error from Flow when running a published Flow App but it seems to work when running directly from the Flow UI SharepointOnlineConnector: Connection 'xx SharePoint Files' does not exist. Check connection parameter and connection definitions in FME options and try again I have gone into the group settings and granted full control to every user group that can use the Flow App, we are using AD authentication and that appears to be working fine. If anyone can assist i would be very grateful Thanks Adrian

Hi.I have a file of text strings that have multiple ‘parts’ that I have split into a _list. Example text string... LOT 9 DP 19723 LOT 12 DP 384274 LOT 8 DP 30287 LOT 9 DP 2402 PT RS 17343 17491 BLK VII X XI TENGAWAI SD-TIMBER NOT ASSESSEDUsing string searcher, I have formed a list of the formatted string to push into the list using regex: (LOT \d+ DP \d+){1,}The result is a list containing the:appellation:LOT 9 DP 19723 LOT 12 DP 384274 LOT 8 DP 30287 LOT 9 DP 2402 PT RS 17343 17491 BLK VII X XI TENGAWAI SD-TIMBER NOT ASSESSED matches: LOT 9 DP 19723  LOT 12 DP 384274  LOT 8 DP 30287  LOT 9 DP 2402  What I want to be able to do is remove the matched part from appellation on the way through leaving me with both the matches as individual features, and a subset of appellation with the matches removed. The resultant appellation in this example would be: PT RS 17343 17491 BLK VII X XI TENGAWAI SD-TIMBER NOT ASSESSED I would be very grateful for any help with this.Regards, Paul 

I have an FME workspace that sends me an email during certain error conditions. This works great on my remote laptop, but fails on my onsite desktop machine. The FME workspace needs to be run nightly on my desktop machine. This means that I won’t get the email (and won’t be notified of the error conditions). On my desktop machine, I get this error message: ERROR_DURING_PROCESSING<class 'requests.exceptions.SSLError'>: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='graph.microsoft.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /v1.0/me/sendMail (Caused by SSLError(SSLCertVerificationError(1, '[SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: certificate has expired (_ssl.c:1000)'))) The only difference I can think of is that my laptop use a VPN connection and my desktop machine is on the company network. I contacted someone in our IT department and they want to know the name of the certificate which I don’t know.Does anyone have ideas on how to resolve this? Thanks, Chuck

Hi Community,I have a workspace with some python in to create a container within a blob storage account (something the blob storage connector was not able to do). The problem i’m having is that as soon as i use the blob storage connector in my workspace the package is installed in C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Safe Software\FME. This then seems to force FME to use this directory in my python caller. The problem is i’m using newer python packages where BlockBlobService no longer exists and is replaced by BlobServiceClient so they stop working despite being installed as per the instructions for installing python libraries. Does anyone have any suggestions?
