Hello, any help would be greatly appreciated with this idea I have: I am trying to figure out the least convoluted way to take my current data and get it into the format ArcPro likes it to be in to take full advantage of the Time Slider. My ultimate goal is to use the time slider in arcpro and the user can slide the time to show how a floor was occupied throughout time.So, I have a large amount of motion detectors. The data is fed to me like so:SensorName Timestamp SensorStatus 1 12:00 1/1/2024 On 2 12:05 1/1/2024 On 1 12:06 1/1/2024 Off 2 12:10 1/1/2024 Off Then Sensor 1 could be triggered again and so forth Arc seems to want the start and end times in the same row. like so:SensorName Start End 1 12:00 1/1/2024 12:06 1/1/2024 2 12:05 1/1/2024 12:10 1/1/2024  It needs to organize 100s of results from numerous sensors and get the start/stop times on the same row, for the correct sensor, for the correct period of time. 

I have a dataset with 3000 polygons represting streets. Each street is divided into subparts and need a unique code to be assgined. The first part refers to the streetname and is the same for each subpart, 2nd part is a unique counter.Image below shows my current (top) and wanted situation (bottom part).Any support is appreciated!  

Y’all.I’m trying to create a connection to a customer Sharepoint for the first time. And I’m confused.I got something to work in 2020.2, but would rather it ran in 2022.2 (same as our servers). But I’ve also tried it in 2024.1There seems to be two web service templates, (Template) and (safe.microsoft-sharepoint).According to this article they are each designated for use with Sharepoint List r/w and SharepointOnlineConnector respectively.But apparently I can’t create a new web service based on the latter in 2022.2, and the latter isn’t even available in 2020.2So when did this change, i.e. in which FME version ?CheersLars I.

Hello FME community, here’s an outline of what I’m trying to accomplish:The fmw is included as a FME Server Workspace App (Server version 2021.2.5, Build 21816 - Linux). The fmw searches for features within a specified area (drawn by the user in the map) and if features intersect the drawn area, they are bundled into a FeatureWriter and provided to the user via a DataStreaming service. This works great when features are intersected.When features are not intersected, a NoFeaturesTester (stored in the same Repository as the fmw) directs the output to create a HTML file (FeatureWriter_3), created and stored in $(FME_SHAREDRESOURCE_TEMP). This file says something like “No results returned, the are no features of type X.Y,Z in the extent MinX, MaxX, MinY, MaxY...etc).Each time I test the App, the html file is created and populated correctly. Now the bit I don’t know is possible: at the end of the process is a SystemCaller which is attempting to open the HTML file in a new web browser tab (w

Hi everyone,I'm facing an issue with the AttributeValueMapper transformer in FME. My goal is to remap all values in the "abbreviazione" field using values I want to input manually. However, I've noticed that I'm unable to set the distinct values of the "abbreviazione" field as input values because the transformer doesn't seem to offer the option to read cached values.The only option I'm given is to import the values from an external dataset, but I'd like to avoid adding too many steps, especially since in other cases, I was able to select the distinct values directly from the layer I'm working on (or at least I think so...).Has anyone encountered a similar issue or have any suggestions on how to proceed? It would be really helpful to understand how I can retrieve and manage these distinct values within the workflow to use them in the remapping.Thanks in advance for your help!  

Hi all,is it possible to use the NeighborFinder so that it tries to find the closest feature with a matching attribute inside the maximum distance area first?My goal is to find for my base features the closest feature from the candidate features which has the same attribute, but inside the maximum distance of lets say 20 meters. And only if there is no candidate feature with the same attribute inside those 20m, find the closest feature no matter the attribute inside 20m.What would be the best way to accomplish this in FME? 

The FME Python environment is a bit weird, to say the least, which makes it difficult to use in various contexts. It's a Windows Python embedded installation, with the bundled and user-installed libraries in non-standard paths. As stated by the Python doc linked above, this installation doesn't officially support using Pip for package installation (due to the sysconfig paths likely being invalid). For dependency management, I would honestly much prefer using a virtual environment, but the python311 installation bundled with FME 2023 doesn't include the venv module, so that's not even an option. At that point, I would rather just create a separate, regular python installation, manage the packages myself and tell FME to use that instead of the included one, but then I would need to move all the compiled FME libraries (and the DLLs they depend on)to that environment, and I don't see a list of that anywhere. Hi, I am in need to convert an attribute with “188-195” as value (Wich means 188up to and including195) in “188;189;190;191;192;193;194;195”.How can this be done in FME workbench 2024.1.0.0.With a  combination of transformers AttributeCreator, AtributeSplitter, ListElementCounter, ListExploder and AttributeManager I am be able to produce the 8 new features. THNX.

The system integrate data from ArcGis API Services(source) to Microsoft SQL Spatial DB(target). When the api side have new row of data, i want to check if the data that is already pulled to DB is already existing using let say object_id field. I cannot use upsert at the writer since the flow is that we do not the want any change of pulled data since it will need to go through manual approval for any data changes. How to insert new row of data only without updating existing data? 

Hello,I have a Navisworks 3D file of our facility that needs to be viewed in ArcGIS Pro and published as a 3D Scene. We exported it out to a fbx for City Engine which is then exported to a scene layer package to be viewed in ArcPro and this “works”, but we have a only layer with zero attribution. Is there a way I can either use the original Navisworks file or the fbx to break out the all the features withing the facility and create an output as a multipatch gdb?  sorry for my noobnessthanks in advance.-C

I am having 100 individual text files consist of Point feature..So..........At a time, How could i convert each files into KML files respectively? 

To reproject WGS84 (Lat/Long) to GDA2020 (Easting/Northing) in FME v2024.1, the only option appears to be via GDA94.  This moves the data approx. 1.8m NE as it assumes that WGS84=GDA94 and GDA94+1.8m = GDA2020.While this is usually what people use, there is a need for a second option of WGS84=GDA2020 (ie a Null transformation + Geographic to Grid) as other software packages, such as Conquest have adopted this.  For more information see: https://www.spatial.nsw.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0008/224396/WGS84_and_Australias_misaligned_web-maps_Information_Sheet.pdf. Is this something that FME will be implementing anytime soon?

We have some text fields that shouldn’t have any UNICODE characters.  Turns out at least one has snuck into the data.  Is there a way to Test to find UNICODE characters and then remove them?FME 2022.2.3

I'm still a newbe to FME considering below.I'm trying to query open data from the Dutch https://public.ep-online.nl/api/v4/Mutatiebestand/DownloadInfo?fileType=csv (API-key required, available from https://epbdwebservices.rvo.nl/) to get the data from a csv-file. HttpCaller works, url obtained with JSONFragmenter (attributes to expose: 'downloadUrl’)+testfilter (to get the actual url). However, I can't seem to use this url in an FeatureReader or further HTTPCaller to actually get the data itself from the csv-file. Copying the url (contains a token valid only one time) does download the file from a browser as a zip-file, but how can this be done in FME?I tried to look at https://public.ep-online.nl/swagger/index.html but couldn't make anything out of it due to lack of technical knowhow.  Any ideas? Setup as of now: FeatureReader tried below (the response_body solely contains the url):Also tried '@Value(_response_body)[*.csv]’ for parameter dataset, but also to no avail. Another try with

I have read through this post to try to get a fix but it doesn’t address the issue i am having.The work flow is…use a Directory and pathname reader to get a list of zip file in a specific folder. sort by path created date sample the first 1 feed the path widows to the reader (esri geodatabase reader or featurereader [preferred]) I am trying to capture the feature datasets within the gdbI have gone to the parameters of the fgdb featurereader and exposed the geodb_feature_dataset format attribute as well as the fme feature type.I have also gone into the generic port and exposed the same. it does not show up as an attribute. i also have used an attributeexposer after and it is not possible to expose it because it is not there.If i change the reader to read *.gd this featuredataset still is not exposed in the featurereader.The only method i have had success with is to set the Output Port to One per Feature Type. Hey everyone,ich have a nice use case in our city: we want to offer a service where families can look which school is the nearest. My Idea was an app Server to create with only one field in order to type one Address. The System should calculate all the routes to the schools in the city (these addresses are known) and visualize them as a list or/and in a map as a result of the server app. Do you think this is possible? I need first of all a FME workbench with an address and a file with the school addresses and calculate the routes and I have problems to get it.  If this task is done, do you think is it possible to show as output the list with the distances and the routes in a map? many thanks in advance!

I saw that in this idea, writing dynamic autocad blocks was implemented in build 22098. Is there any documentation available for this yet? I understand this is still a beta build so it might not be available. The reason for this is im trying to write out FME aggregates as Autocad blocks with different colours stored as appearances for individual geometries within the aggregate and i cant find a way to preserve these when writing to Autocad.

When i try to “inspect feature caches” or “view sources data” it does not work and i get this error message :  I am not able to use any defaut background map. When I click on “OK” then the software crash.  Any suggestions ?
