Hi,  I am trying to build a workbench that performs certain checks irrespectively of the Input data. That means that it must accept data with different data types (.shp, .mdb...) and schemes (e.g. different attribute names and types). As far as I know, a generic dynamic reader is what I need. So I inserted one and tested it. Although this reader reads the (spatial) data and shows its polygons in the inspector, the attributes are lost. Instead of the original attributes, there is only one row in the table with the header <no schema>. In the feature information part of the inspector, however, the attributes are still listed. Since I want to write a log file including all the errors found by the checker, the attributes are important. What do I need to do, so that I can access the attributes of the generic dynamic reader?   Best regards André

 i have network of many lines in the map and i want to define start point from one line of different lines then i want to flow in each direction till the end as picture abovestart point will start then go in the first direction but it will find first intersection point with 3 directon so go one by one as example then it finds second intersection point with 3 direction then fo in first line till reach end line 1 and give me the coordinate of the last point (last vertices 1 ) then come bk to second intersection point and continue in the second line but it finds the third intersection point so go till end line 2 and extract vertices then come bk to third intersection point and go to end line 3 and extract vertices then come bk to second intersection point and go to last direct ion till end line 4 and give me coordintaes of last point and after finish it return back to the first intersection point and till reach end line 5 and so on . at the end i want to check the end coordinates of each

I am trying to setup a job in FME that reads a CSV file where the filename changes daily. The filename looks like this HHSVENDORS_02242020.txt. The HHSVENDORDS_ is always the same, but then it has the date appended in the format MMDDYYYY. Is there a way to dynamically create/read the input filename on a CSV reader? So when the job runs each evening, it will pull the correct file.

I want to filter those points where _pontID = _MIN and _pontID = _MAX_uj and _pontID = _mean_pontssz. Hello. So I'm currently having an issue with the excel reader and I'm not sure I'm missing something. If I drag and drop or add the dataset to the workspace and configure it, it will read correctly. In this case, I want it to start reading the data from row 6 (1 to 5 are the header) and go from there. This works for the initial file, but if I change the source data to pick up a different file with the exact same format, the settings are somehow reset and it starts reading from row 1, resulting in no attributes or features being read. I've tried updating the reader feature types and changing the Microsoft Excel Parameters for it, and while it works when inspecting the data, when I run it, it goes back to missing. What I need is to be able to feed different datasets into this reader but all with the same format, so there's no need for it to be dynamic. Hi Guys,i have excel file ,i want to make comparisonasif sum 1 < base A < sum 2 if yes ,so as give me the outputi want to check for every cell in base A is the value between sum1 and sum 2 in the each row or not .as example check the first cell of base A (65452 ) is between sum 1 and sum 2 at first row or not then continue to check 65452,first cell of base A with the second row of sum 1 and sum 2 or not . i want to check for each cell in base A ,if this value between sum1 and sum 2 for each row .after finish checking 65452 so start with 65438 and so on so it will check for each cell with 10 rows i want to do the same also for Base B ,if the value between sum 1 and sum 2 and if yes gives me output and continue check for this cell till the end till i finish with all field cells in base A and base B Thanks in advance FME version 2018

We have a DWG drawing where the arrow heads have been created as a block but the arrow heads are not coming into FME and hence I am not able to output the arrow heads to a PDF.   I have exploded the blocks into entities but still no luck. Is there a way to recreate the arrow heads when outputting to PDF or bringing the data in from the DWG.Attached is a sample drawing to help understand what I am trying to achieve.Any assistance would be appreciated.

I am trying to modify an existing workbench which reads features from an Oracle database using an SQLCreator and writes them to a feature class in a geodatabase. Currently there is a single query in the SQLCreator. I'm trying to add something to the output which requires a temporary table so I now need there to be three queries running in this SQLCreator:Create temp_table;Query to extract features from Oracle DB (and temp_table);Drop temp_table; Is it possible to run a series of queries in SQLCreator? If not is there some other way? The series of queries work fine when run directly against the database but I cannot get it to work in FME. My fallback is to create views in Oracle rather than using a temporary table but I'd rather not do that if I can avoid it. Thanks,Michael

Hello community, I'm quite new to fme and I've been stumbling on something that might be easier than i think. Basically i have a filled access database table and I'm trying to fit these filled records into a template table. This template has less column headers/attribute names than the source. I'm trying to get the values that do no longer have a place to be put into a string. I have managed that, however I'm trying to have this long string be readable by having the attribute value be preceeded by the attribute name. I'll give an example below: (sorry I'm currently only on mobile so writing it out is a bit harder)  OldFruits vegetables grains soup Apple cauliflower bread tomatosoup New:Fruits vegetables otherApple cauliflower grains: bread, soup: tomatosoup This is just an example. The real table has like 52 fields per records that has to fit into 30. I hope anyone can help me out.

I have a coarse raster where the pixel value indicates the number of points that should be generated within the confines of the pixel.  I have a fine raster (1 to 2 orders of magnitude higher resolution than coarse raster) where the pixel value indicates whether a point can be placed there. For simplicity purposes this can be a binary mask.  I would like to generate points according to these two rasters with the additional criteria of a minimum separation between points.  Thoughts on how to do this in an efficient manner? I'm hoping to avoid the brute force approach of generating a random point, checking the constraints and repeating until the desired number of points is reached.

 I have Oracle no spatial as a reader and when i am trying to read the coordinate ,i found the output is null and i have read many articles and i tried many hours but without any success . could someone help me ,how can i fix the problem for Geometry for Oracle non spatial  in inspector the output of oracle ,it looks like points and each point has his coordinate (x,y)  Thanks in advance

When trying to Batch Deploy my simple Geopackage files to AGOL the 'Next' button never gets possible. It wants a path to the files to be written. Is it not possible to use Batch Deploy to upload to AGOL or what am I missing?

When I try to write an ECW file of around 1 GB, I get the following error from the ECW writer:ECW writer: The ECWJP2 SDK only has 200.0 MB of memory allocated to it and this is not enough to compress this dataset. How to compare a series of tables across two databases? We use a setup that reads a .csv file that has two columns:- Column 1 is a query in database 1, and- Column 2 is a query in database 2Both queries should return the same and ordered list of values (basically, a list of identifiers) and are fed into an SQLExecutor. Both resulting streams are compared using a FeatureMerger, and the UnmergedRequestor and UnUsedSupplier ports report the features that are not present in both databases. This works nice for relatively small tables. If a table is queried that has more than a million records, performance drops. I solved this performance issue by using database readers. I specified the Number of Records To Fetch At A Time (ORACLE) and the Bulk Read Size (MSSQL) and set them so that 100.000 records are fetched each time. I could work this out using a WorkspaceRunner, however my question is: Where are these parameters on the SQLCreator/SQLExecutor transformers?Parameters available on the SQLE

I would like to hide half of my transformer in one workspace and do password for half of workflow so User will not be able to show the whole work .I mean ,for the same workspace ,I want to make security password to appear the whole workspace .But without password ,user can open the work space but it does not show him the whole work space till he write password to show the whole work .Do we have a method to do that

I have a DXF file containing many feature types, including points, polylines, polygons, text etc. I want to extract the polylines into a shapefile of polyline geometry, and the points into a points shapefile.  I am having a hard time finding the transformer(s) needed to carry out this simple task.  Can someone please point me in the right direction? Regards, Ben

Currently ,i am trying to create user parameter in shared parameter linked with excel file.  i have an excel file ,it includes id number and names of building , i want to create user parameter when i write the number ,it wiill read automatic which names that i want to work on from specific excel file ,then it starts scanning or searching for this excel file in specific folder that include the same name and import ths excel file to workspace . Thanks in advance
