InlineQuerier documentation states:  The InlineQuerier creates a temporary SQLite database, and creates a table for each input object that is connected to it.  This is not always true. If an incoming flow is empty, the table is not created. This should be stated clearly in the documentation. I would prefer that the table is created anyway. The transformer will fail otherwise. Hi,I am using FME 2026.1, trying to create a map using AttributeCreator+ PDFStyler.However, when I set my label height to for example, Arial,5, my text comes out bold. When I select Arial,5,BOLD, my text comes back looking regular. Is that a bug just for me? I was stuck on it for ages trying to figure it out. Yes, it is also the case when i set a font size like 5 (not from an attribute).I am wondering if anyone else has this issue.   

Hi,Does anyone else have any trouble accessing Safe webinars these days? They are usually in the middle of the night for me, so I used to watch any relevant ones after a video becomes available. They a good professional development hours.I always used to be able to watch them on demand. However, I haven’t seen a video in 6 months. I seem to be only have the option of attending live. Does anyone know what’s going on? Does Safe not provide on demand videos anymore?I did send a support request a few weeks ago but I have not had a response.Thanks  

I have some columns within my Excel template that have a lot of text, so I thought to put the wrap text feature on for basically the whole spreadsheet. Thing is, only some of the cells wrap text instead of all of the cells. In the screenshot you can see what I mean - I have tried everything to try and fix this. Hoping someone in this community can assist! I tried using the ExcelStyler transformer too to no avail.

The zoom slider bar is missing in FME Flow 2026.1. Please bring it back. It makes zooming more convenient. It was in FME Desktop 2021. Are there plans to bring it back? Or is there identical functionality in FME Form 2026.1? If so, where?

Hello everybody,I am trying to build a flow app: The user has an Excel file with 3 columns.  the flow app must show the values of theses columns as one parameter (I want to have the chance to filter the list using one of the 3 columns). My Problem is to get the contents of the excel file. If I try it with the User Paramters Window, I can import from dataset or reader formats. But with these options I do not get the contents but the headers or the name of the readers.I can save the contents of the File in a SQL Database. But I do not know how I can read them and show them in the user parameter List. Has anyone any Idea, how I can get a List with a filter to show those values of the excel?Thanks in advance!Manuel

I’m testing the new OPENFILEGDB Reader in 2026.1 that supersedes the old Open GDB Reader, but it doesn’t resolve my subtypes and domains. Hallo everyone,I copied and upgraded an ArcGIS Dimension Feature Class (File GDB) using ArcPy.However, when trying to read it in FME 2024 (FeatureReader / File Geodatabase Reader), I get this error:Unable to convert row to 'DimensionFeature'FME can see the schema, but fails when reading the features.Does FME support reading Dimension Feature Classes, or is there a known workaround?Thanks.

We’re currently in the process of looking to move to a newer version of FME Form (2025.2) but we’ve hit an issue where we can’t meet the required dependencies for adding a Smallworld reader regardless of having the correct files in the right locations. If we open an older workspace with the reader already added, it will still complain about missing dependencies but the workspace will execute correctly.If you select ‘Update Reader’ from the navigator you can add additional feature types etc and change parameters, but you can’t add a new reader due to the missing dependencies. I noted that there was a Fix in Build 25811, but when I tested in 2025.1 (before the fix), there are no issues adding a Smallworld reader. I understand that the Smallworld user group probably isn’t the largest but is anyone else having the same issue. Would really appreciate if someone is able to provide a sanity check. Thanks

I have a COG with a scale factor (excerpt from GDALInfo)Band 1 Block=1024x1024 Type=Int32, ColorInterp=Gray  Min=-50313.000 Max=57304.000  Minimum=-50313.000, Maximum=57304.000, Mean=4745.177, StdDev=7550.452  NoData Value=-32767  Offset: 0,   Scale:0.1How do I apply this scale factor in FME?   If I clip the input and create a new tif,  the scale factor is dropped and the values are 10 times the expected.In this particular case I can just scale the value back down, but in general, is there a way to retrieve the scale factor and apply it? 

Hi all, we are on Flow 2025.2 and we use Geometry Parameter for quite a few ws apps. Now we are living with the bug FMEFLOW-26285Changes to the default basemap of a geometry user parameter under the Parameter Defaults when creating/editing a Workspace app do not get applied to the Workspace app. Users accessing the workspace app will see that the default basemap is unchanged. Any tips for a workaround? Can one change the default using javascript in the webpage possibly?

I have a workbench that takes data from Oracle, merges it with a few other tables, runs it through a schema scanner and then tries to output to a file geodatabase.The file geodatabase has the merged table created but it only contains the schema definition not the data. The output from the schema scanner shows the points in the graphics display. These are the transformers that scan and output Here is the Feature Writer  The summary is showing the feature count   There is some disconnect between the schema scanner and my output and was hoping someone might be able to see what I am doing wrong. The workbench is attached. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  

I am not sure why I am struggling with this one… I have tried quite a few options.  What I would like to do is:Pull Alignment file from an XML (this has the starting value as an attribute, end value can be calculated by start value + line length) Set Start and End Measures Kick out an m-enabled polyline that is geometrically calibratedI have the workbench set up to pull this in, using a geometry coercer to make sure it is a line, then I have been trying the measure generator and measure setters to get these values to stick with no luck.    

Hi, I have many LAS tiles with gps_time component. Gps time values are in standard GPS Time : ex 363439432.1942503 I would like to display the minimum and maximum times in DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM:SS format. I can use the PointCloudStatisticsCalculator to get the minimum and maximum values, but I can't work out how to convert 363439432.1942503 to the required format. Any idea? Thanks u ! 

Hi everyone,I am working in FME and would like to orient the flow direction of a gas network.Data: main supply lines service lines connected to gas connections Destination  points – representing the gas service connection locations Objective:My goal is to ensure that all Service lines are oriented towards the Gas Service connection points.If a line is digitized in the opposite direction, it should be automatically reversed.Additionally, some lines connected to Service Connection points   are split into multiple segments. Hi, I want to import the WFS service from Digitaal Vlaanderen, specifically the address registry, but my FME only imports a maximum of 10,000 features.I had found that it was possible via paging, but apparently that is no longer supported, or at least I can’t find it. It should then be done via loops, but I’m stuck. I found that it should be possible using an HTTP caller and JSON fragmenter, but I’m already stuck with my HTTP caller. I’ve tried reviewing results from /schedules. This doesn’t seem to include our schedule triggers in automations.Neither /automations or /automations/{id} return the required information.Can anyone point me in the right direction?Thanks!AW 

Hi FME gurus. I am trying to extract values from a list to populate columns with the associated values in the fields.  In my list (called _columns) I have a caption field which has the name of the column I want to create and the date value I want to populate into the field so the example I have in the screenshot I want to look like this: Application ID Last Inspection Next Inspn Due 648343 2025-06-23 2026-06-16 15456.. 2025…. 2026….  The list exploding only brings out the name of the original column ‘caption’ but I am looking to use the values in the list itself to build the attributes and populate the values. There are records with more than 2 elements in the list and I still will need to figure out how to expose the attributes (schema scanner?) once it is done but this is the first step. Any suggestions would be amazing, Thank you.Michael.

When using ArcGIS Feature Service (reader, writer, featurereader, featurewriter) I am only able to reference items using Folder and then featureservice name + itemid (in paranthesis after the name). Is it possible to directly refer to a service using only itemid?(for my case the data is hosted on my institution’s AGOL)

I’m creating a workspace that reads 7-8 tables from a file geodatabase and then writes them into tables in a SQL database.  One of the tables is sometimes present and sometimes missing (that is expected).  I need to create a workflow where when the table is present we write the data into the SQL table and when it is not present we just truncate that same table in the SQL database.  I currently have a gdb reader connected to a tester that passes when fme_feature_type Like MSAG_To_RCL_Synchronization. This works when the table is there but when it’s missing the reader just closes and gives the message “The table name 'MSAG_To_RCL_Synchronization' could not be found in the Geodatabase as either a feature class or a table” and closes before any input gets to the tester. Any ideas on how to conditionally test if a table exist or not and then either write the data or truncate a SQL table. 

It seems I have no place to force FME to include the code_verifier parameter in the request body to obtain a token (see requirements below). Any ideas of how to work around this in FME? The postman equivalent is selecting the grant type as "Authorization Code (with PKCE)". I can use the same challenge and verifier more than once, just need to include it in the body rather than a querystring.  Per the platform's API docs: Parameters sent in Request Body, Form-URL Encoded. (cannot use JSON or querystring)code=<code received in callback url>client_id=<Application OAuth Client ID>client_secret=<Application OAuth Client Secret>grant_type=authorization_coderedirect_uri=<User redirect URL (from step 4)>code_verifier=<User Generated Code Verifier>
