Hi, a client is using nb_NO (Norsk Bokmål) Locale on a Windows Server machine and the produced FFS filename is incorrect. They are using FME Form 2024.2.3.0.I have tested same om my machine Windows 11, FME Form 2025.1.1.0 - build 25615. I want to produce a filename “t2_æøå”.FFS (where æ, ø and å are Norwegian alphabet letters)using en_US Locale the produced file is t2_æøå.FFS using nb_NO Locale the produced filename is t2_æøå. FFSI repeated the test wiriting to Esri Shapefiles - and both Locale will give the result t2_æøå.shp. Seems like the FFS writer have an issue with Locale. Might be a known issue  but I was not able to find it. Thanks 

a file like the following.I am reading it using a Text Reader dataset in XML format.I would like to use XML Fragment / XML Flattener to extract the Name attribute and its value, but I always get no result from the XML Fragment.I am not sure what the reason is. Is it possible to turn off the “Browse Resources” button or make browse file system larger in FME Flow apps? Here is a screenshot of what i’m referring to.   

Currently doing some testing after upgrading FMEFlow to 2025.2.1It appears that the validate button on the JMS trigger now just returns an ‘Invalid Parameter’ message Previously it produced something slightly more descriptive.i.e. Failed to find JMS object / Realm is currently not reachableIs a more detailed message available in a log somewhere, if so where should i look? I have it all set up and working correctly in 2025.2.1, this is just for future reference.

Hi.I have built a workspace for data generation that runs for several hours. To log the process input for documentation purposes, I write them to an FFS file, that is about 765 Mb. It includes both spatial and non-spatial data.I now try to open it in Workbench (2025.2.1), but it fails with this error message:No geometry mapping entry found for 'varchar(200)' in metafile 'C:\Program Files\FME 2025\metafile\FFS.fmf'. Please visit http://www.safe.com/supportHowever, the curious/funny thing is, that I can open the file in the Data Inspector program without any errors:What can be done to remedy this ? Hi there,In this article (Configure user attribute mapping with Azure AD SAML Provider – FME Support Center), a group claim can be setup to pass an AD group name which aligns to a role in FME Flow. As a group claim could be based on a search criterion and many AD groups could be returned which is a common method of Enterprise group membership in ArcGIS Enterprise software. I was wondering if this could be used to grant several roles to a user?Looking at controlling access to repositories, who can view workspace and who can run a job, etc via AD group assignment.Thanks

I’m working on trying to automate some of my company’s reporting, like the one partially shown in this screenshot. So far, I am able to get pretty much most of this information through to the Attribute Pivoter, but I am pretty new to getting this information properly into a Google Sheet. I have the Customer side (left side) and Company side (right side) going through separate channels because they’re from different layers...and I’m starting to wonder if it’s even possible to populate this information in this way from Attribute Pivoter or if I should just switch to separate tabs within the Google Sheet. Second screenshot is what the attribute pivoter summary results look like for the right hand side which is essentially what I want...just not broken down the way I want.  

I’ll try to make this really quick. We are trying to automate running several FME Form jobs. Each one will execute in line in the automation. The reason is we want them to stop if even one job fails and to send an email (External Action in FME Flow Automations). Being new I’m having issues trying to get the Email to work. I’ve tried various things with no luck. Is there anyone out there with experience on setting this up through Office365? I just want to know if I post this image of the settings if you might be able to tell me which are the most important to focus on. Also, any other pitfalls, internal flow steps, or even external steps I need to be taking. I'm trying to read a OGC geopackage which contains fields of the type 'datetime'.In FME 2025.1 (which uses version 16 of the FeatureReader) something unexpected happens: in case the number of seconds starts with a 0 (zero), this zero gets dropped after reading the data. See record 21 in the screenshots for an example:In FME 2025 the field ‘tijdstipRegistratieLV' misses a 0 after the '1009' (10 hour 9 minutes).In FME 2023 the readout is correct: 20101214100907 (2010 december 14th, 10 hour 09 minutes 07Is this a known issue/bug?

I have a simple job reads points from a spreadsheet and buffers my pipeline. I would like to set up the SpatialFilter to see which points on the spreadsheet are outside my buffer.  For some reason, all points go to the Failed port. I have exported the buffer that is created and verified they correct and most of the points fall within the buffers.  Any tips are appreciated! 

I’m working in an FME Form workbench reading in CSV files that reflect database updates and then using them to update a central XLSX file. However, when the CSV reader is pulling in a column with values of either ‘TRUE’ or ‘FALSE’, it is automatically converting them to ‘true’ or ‘false’.Has anyone ever noticed this with a CSV reader?Unfortunately the domain I am describing with this data has capitalized values, so reporting the codes as lower case somewhat defeats the purpose. I know the parameter for Case Sensitive Field Names would resolve the issue if i were seeing this in the attribute names but unfortunately i haven’t been able to find a similar parameter for the data itself.Is this just an inherent setting to the CSV reader format?

I have some daily automations set up to update feature layers in our GDB from a rest endpoint. There are instances when the workspace cannot connect to the source to read in the features and therefore fails the job. I have retry parameters set on the run workspace action as follows: number of attempts 1, wait between attempts 5 seconds, backoff multiplier none, randomization factor none, max wait 1 minute. Having the retry as been helpful but causes us to recieve multiple emails. Specifically, if the job succeeds we recieve 1 email that it was successful. If the job fails both attempts, we recieve 2 emails that it failed both attempts. If the job fails the first and succeeds the 2nd attempt, we recieve one failure and one succeess email. We have some users who are only set up to recieve failure emails and therefore are not aware that the 2nd attempt was successful.Is there a way to configure the retry parameters or automation to only send an email on the final attempt? If needed for re

Does anyone know if FME can be used to notify via email when one or more SSL certs are due to expire. I have a boatload of SSL certs whose expiration dates I keep track of using a spreadsheet. Just wondering if FME could make it easier? The OS I use is Windows Server 2022. 

I’m using the Gemini Connector (Transformer) in FME and facing an issue with initiator (upstream) attributes.My requirement is:The attributes coming into the Gemini Connector (initiator attributes) Need to be merged with the Gemini response/output, so that the final feature contains both the original attributes and the Gemini result Current behavior: The Gemini Connector output only contains response-related attributes Initiator attributes are not carried through or merged automatically Question: Is there a supported way to merge or carry initiator attributes along with the Gemini response? Is this a limitation of the Gemini Connector transformer? What is the recommended pattern (FeatureMerger, Joiner, correlation ID, etc.) to achieve this? I have a working workbench that accepts a user parameter for a Cityworks WorkOrderSid.  I have a FWM Flow Webhook setup per instructions.  I think my issue is that the work order sid is not getting transfered as expected.  Here is a screenshot of the CW Template Details: I think the Template text is wrong because im getting an error in FLOW:it looks like the auth code is getting passed in to the WorkorderSID?Let me know if you need to see any other part of the setup...

Hi there,I don’t know if I am doing something wrong but I am trying to use the new ESRI ArcGIS Feature Service connection to read a public layer from another organisations AGOL account. I have it working using Standalone Server as the source type. I can’t seem to get it working using the ArcGIS Online source type as I don’t have a login to their AGOL and I don’t need one as it’s public data. Should I create two web services and web connections and upload both to Flow, then edit the Flow version to include the client secret? Then we would need to develop the workspace in Form using the Form specific connection, and then switch to the Flow version before publishing?It would be good to get some guidance on best practice for this.Thanks,Marc

Hello,I have a main FME workspace where I call multiple child workspaces using WorkbenchRunner.The issue is that even when one of the called workspaces is terminated, the WorkbenchRunner still reports the execution as successful.My goal is to stop the main workflow immediately if any problem occurs in one of the child workspaces, so that the next WorkbenchRunner does not execute. What is the correct way to ensure that: If a child workspace fails (error or termination), the main workspace stops immediately, And subsequent WorkbenchRunners do not run? Any recommended best practice for this scenario?Thank you.  

lets say I have a set of coordinates x1,y1 and x2,y2 how can i create a dwg with dimensions between these coordinates?if possible a step by step guide with the transformers/writers required for this.  

I have a SQL Server Database that has 156 tables. I need to extract the schema for each table and table names into a CSV. I know one way is to add all 156 tables to the workbench as separate Readers and then use FeatureReader (with Features to Read set to Schema Features). This could be a start, but it seems rather tedious.  Is there a better way? I want to write to a CSV that has the attributes in one column and the table names in another column.  Any thoughts on the best way to tackle this?
