Hi there,I have installed FME Flow 2026.1 in AWS has a High Availability WebUI/Core with distributed engines.The setup uses HTTPS on an internal url (corporate network)When I try to connect FME Form to Flow, I get the following error message Unable to retrieve public key from FlowUnable to establish secure communications with FlowDeployment parameter access failed (Connection Error) - Unable to connect to FME Flow. Has anybody seen this before? ThanksWhen I use the url in the browser on the same machine (tested on 2 different machines), i can log in using my admin user account 

We are running 4 FME Flow 2025.1.2 environments (DTAP) and 1 FME Flow 2025.1.3 lab environment, all in a fault-tolerant setup with 2 cores and 2 engine hosts.In our DTAP environments, we initially had an incorrect configuration:processmonitorcoreconfig contained localhost instead of FQDNs for both cores Each engine host was registered to a different core (processmonitorengineconfig)This resulted in jobs mostly being picked up by a single engine host, depending on which core was leading.In our lab environment, the setup is correct:FQDNs are used Both engine hosts are registered to a single core Fault tolerance works as expected (both engines process jobs, and failover between cores works correctly)We applied the same configuration changes to DTAP to match the lab setup. Hello ,n FME Workbench, I am trying to set up a workspace where multiple readers use a common main folder path.I created a user parameter for the main directory (root folder), and my goal is for each reader to use this main path while only specifying its own subfolder.However, when I add a new reader and configure its dataset path, it changes the same user parameter used by the other readers. As a result, all readers end up pointing to the same path, which is not what I want.How can I configure my workspace so that:One user parameter defines the main folder path, and Each reader can independently define its own subfolder without affecting the others?FME 2021 thanks in advance

Hello FME community!I am using FME Flow 2025.2.4 Build 25835 - win64 and I am having issues with connections in apps and galleries. I have created Roles, shared my connections with full access, created new connections per this article http://fme.ly/zn8 nothing seems to work. The funny thing is that it has nt failed for me is I run the workspace directly in FME Server.Are there any tricks that I have not tired or is this a bug?Thank you in advanced for any help/ideas that you can provide. 

I was hoping to set up an MCP Server on Flow hosted, but I can't seem to find where it is in the interface. The current Flow Hosted 2026.2 beta build is 26267, do I need a higher build in order to use this?I did see it mentioned in the user permissions, but other than that I'm not seeing it anywhere else in the interface.

Hi, I am a software developer, but don’t know much about FME yet. Please forgive my ignorance :-)I was asked to create a simple wrapper around the REST API v4 that lets a user start a job, and download the results as a zip file.Generating a token, submitting a job, and getting the job’s status is fairly straightforward, but I am at a loss when it comes to downloading the results. I see that there is another API /fmedatadownload, but it seems that the token I use when submitting the job does not work here. I tried passing it in the Authorization header, as a query parameter, and I also tried Basic authentication, but all of these return HTTP 401I am sure this must be very simple, but I am probably overlooking the obvious here.

Hi all,I have a fault tolerant deployment of FME Flow 2026.1 in our private AWS account. Our security team requires us to limit the number of ports to be opened between WebUI/Core and Engine hosts (eg. least privilege).Is there a best practice rule/formula in calculating the number of ports required to be opened depending on the number of engines per host and the number of hosts in your deployment and the starting port number? ThanksExample:3 engines / host and 2 hosts = 6 enginesIs there a redundant factor that needs to be applied? eg. 2 timesTherefore 3 engines x 2 hosts x 2 redundant factor = 12 TCP ports are required.The starting port number should be from 50000 fmeFlowConfig.txtFME_SERVER_PORT_POOL=50000-50011

Hi there,I have installed FME Flow 2026.1 and have used the HTTPS option with a pfx certificate from the installer wizard on Windows Server 2022 AWS EC2.I can open the WebUI with https:// and everything looks fine and log in with SSO/SAML. The ‘Services’ page has the urls as https:// as well. Question: Is the steps in ‘Configuring for HTTPS’ still required?

However, when feature classes with the same name exist in different GDBs, they appear only once in the schema Has anyone encountered this before, and what is the best way to handle or distinguish feature classes with identical names across multiple GDBs?

Hello Everyone, I have an FME Flow 2025.2.4 automation that contains nineteen individual FME Form 2025.2.4  jobs. In addition to those nineteen jobs, I have two separate FME Form jobs that are used only for email notifications. One notification job is intended to run when jobs succeed, and the other is intended to run when jobs fail. Both of these notification jobs contain an FME Form 2025.2.4 Emailer transformer in their build. All nineteen FME jobs in my automation are connected to the Success notification job through their success ports, and those same nineteen FME jobs are connected to the Failure notification job through their failure ports. This wiring ensures that the appropriate notification workflow is triggered depending on the outcome of each job. The goal is not to send an email for every individual job result. Hi,I use a JSONTemplater to make a geojson with nested attributes. It works fine. The only thing I notice is that I have a number in real32 (1.21) and when it comes out of the JSONTemplater it has the value 1.2100000381469727. The extra decimals apear out of nowhere. How can I change these back to the original? Or can I use some kind of casting? I use FME 2023.2.5.Thank you

Hi,I have several rasters that are quite dark, I’d like to brighten them. I can do this automatically in another software, but this involves me setting up a script (I use mogrify).I’d like to do this in FME, but I have never been able to work it out. I have tried several things over the years. The best I’ve been able to do dynamically is make the image better, but then the colours go all strange. I want to keep them close to real like. Here is an example of a dark image.I don’t think the images have a consistent correction that should be applied, which is why I want it to treat each image individually.Any help would be great thanks  

Hello everyone,I was wondering if it's possible in the Pythoncaller to check based on an user parameter (for example “database”) whether the database is avaibable in the user's database connections (FME Options > Database connections). I was looking at Connections — Python FME API FME 2026.1 b26103 documentation, but I don't really get wiser which functions to use.

I have a series of pdf’s that have been georeferenced in ArcGIS Pro, and as a result they have an associated .aux.xml file with them. If I bring that pdf into ArcGIS Pro, it is accurately depicted on the map in the correct location.  However, in FME when I read in the pdf, it shows me all of the vector features in the pdf, but the pdf features themselves are located around the co-ordinate 0,0 and not in the georeferenced location. I understand this is because the .aux.xml isn’t being read by FME. In FME, how can I create a workflow that will accurately read in both the .pdf and its corresponding .aux.xml so that the vector features are visible in the graphics window and to export to a file geodatabase feature class? I don’t want to convert the pdf to raster/tiff because then I will lose the vector features.

Hi all, we are on Flow 2025.2 and we use Geometry Parameter for quite a few ws apps. Now we are living with the bug FMEFLOW-26285Changes to the default basemap of a geometry user parameter under the Parameter Defaults when creating/editing a Workspace app do not get applied to the Workspace app. Users accessing the workspace app will see that the default basemap is unchanged. Any tips for a workaround? Can one change the default using javascript in the webpage possibly?

Hi everyone,I have a set of N points that I would like to generalize as follows :Generate Voronoi diagram for the set ; Eliminate the point with the smallest Voronoi cell area ; Redo the same process (generate Voronoi diagram for the remaining points then eliminate the smallest one) until 30% of the points are eliminatedI have tried to implement the process in FME but got stuck on how to do it using a custom loop transformer and how to implement the 30% threshold that depends on the number of features entering the transformer.Any help is much appreciated.Many thanks.

Dear users,I`m quite new to FME. I use FME Form 2025.2.I try to convert a poylgon-Shapefile to dxf.I show you the model attached in an image: The shapefile “rasternetz” gets a Coordinatesystem (EPSG: 25832) and is changed from poylgon to line (via GeometryCoercer). If I transport that file to a NEW Shapefile (Writer) everything is fine (it is a line-shapefile then, has a coodinate system, all the 5367 objects are well shown in QGIS). But: It I use a DXF-Writer the file is created (I can successfully open it in AutoCad Map), but I CAN`T open it in QGIS. And it`s very very weird: QGIS says: “That dxf has no coordinate system” (eventhough I defined one in the FME-Writer). And if I set a coordinate system in QGIS manually to that dxf, eventhough no geometry is shown at all ?? Has anybody an idea? One weird thing is: It is not possible to set the dxf-geometry to “Line”? (Is has only the attribute “all”)…   

I have an address feature class in a SQL Server 2022 Enterprise Geodatabase. Some records have been updated in the attribute table and new records have been added. I want to write these updates and additions to another Enterprise Geodatabase and a File Geodatabase. Would the recommended approach be to use a ChangeDetector before each Writer and then use Upsert in each Writer?OR Can I use Upsert in each Writer without using ChangeDetector? Currently, the way I do this is to Truncate Existing in the Writer for the Enterprise Geodatabase and the Writer for the File Geodatabase. But, this can take a long time to run. It seems more efficient to use Upsert.
