Hello, I have to integrate geopackages in PostGIS tables whose schemas are strictly defined. After a first loading of the tables, I restarted the processing with the same geopoackages and all the objects do not leave through the "Unchanged" port. On closer inspection, some numeric values are formatted differently: for example, 20 in the geopackage (read as Real64 by FME) and 20.0 in the PostGIS table (numeric 5,1). Some decimal numbers also exist in geopackages (2.5 for example). Can you explain to me how I can handle this problem. I looked with StringFormatter but am not sure which syntax to use. Thank you!

Hi all,My question is regarding performance actually...I'm going through a process of reading data (shp) trimming it, doing change detection and writing it to a sde. Some of my data contains 5.000.000 objects, so it takes forever to run it, which is not a problem in production mode. In the testing fase, when tweeking and changing settings it is a big hazzle though. I have added a tester to both my original data source and the revised data source to filter out a small portion of data, but it still has to go through every single object when reading the data... So my question is: Is there a way to avoid having to read everything from both datasets? Thanks :-)

Hi FME team,I want to create a list from attributes, retain the site IT and Metric - with the metric values. So effectively I will have a feature for each Site ID and Metric combination. I've tried ListBuilder and ListExploder but not working as I'd like. Attached is an example of what I have and where I need to get to. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks.

I am struggling with creating centerlines in wall geometry from CAD, where some squirrely ones show up:I was hoping that I could filter by # of vertices, or separating by angle, but this is not reliable. Any ideas? Thanks,@larue​  

Hello, Dynamicly filling the Where Clause in a FeatureReader (Arcgis Online feature Service) only gives an error in Automations. I want to retrieve notifications (meldingen) of the previous month (maand) of the year (jaar) out of Arcgis Online (on a certain point in a month). I want to put this functionality in an Automation. I do this using the following steps:-In an AttributeManager I take the current DateTime; extract the month and year and calculate the prevous month (use conditional value for use in January).-This values are put in a privat parameter: Maand (month); JAAR(year)-The private parameter is then used in the where clause.EXTRACT(MONTH FROM "REGISTRATIE_DATUM") = $(Maand) AND EXTRACT(YEAR FROM "REGISTRATIE_DATUM") = $(JAAR) This setup works in FME Desktop and on FME Server > (from log)where 'EXTRACT(MONTH FROM "REGISTRATIE_DATUM") = 7 AND EXTRACT(YEAR FROM "REGISTRATIE_DATUM") = 2021' When putting the Workspace in aan aut

How can i do this? I tried everything i could.The number of columns needs to be dynamic.. if Town III is 5 times then there should be JB5 ZB5 and RT5.The RT1 Column is the Order in which they should be (see colour)

I am trying to extract images (pdfs, tiffs, etc) from attachments in an ESRI geodatabase. I have been able to get what looks like the proper file but it won't open. Any ideas or perhaps know what to fix this?

Hi all,I wonder if it is possible to have FME expose the day of the week at the time of running the workbench? E.g. If the workbench is running today I would like to have an attribute "day_of_week" that has "Wednesday" as a value.If it is run tomorrow the attribute should read "Thursday" etc etc Thanks!Ed

Hello, I have a line shape file which is in 2d. I want to drape it on terrain to make it 3d. I have the terrain data of the area which is a .las file.

I got over 380000 polygons of landcover data and I'd like to find out which of them have parts thinner than 0.2 meter and identify where these thin parts are located, so I can fix them.I've tried bufferer, but there's no luck for me, please help me, thanks very much!

when i change the Default line width to 0.6 in feature wirter ( adobe geospatial pdf in Feature writer ) ,i found it changes for all layers . i would like to change only for one layer and others still has the same width of lines .How could i achieve it ?i need only to change paramter of width of lines in one layer without effecting other lines at other layers . my workspace : i have different lines ,with different colors and i would like to increase the width line with green color that i show in pdf output and others still have the same line width in pdf output .Thanks in advanceFME 2018

I have two feature sets being joined with featurejoiner with approximately 50 attributes on the right and 50 on the left. I need to set ALL values of ALL unjoined attributes to uj_left or uj_right accordingly, in place of NULL (or is it MISSING?). I've had some ideas but wondering about a best management practice here. Let me know if you have any ideas. My test and concept ideas have included:1) add attribute manager following unjoined ports and set values on each unjoined attribute. Two issues here, one is that the unjoined right port doesn't show the left attributes and vice versa. The second issue is that I have 100 attributes, so I'm looking for a more automated solution.2) again add attribute manager following unjoined ports but this time just add one new attribute (join_status) and set the value accordingly uj_left, uj_right. Bring those streams together into a single transformer to then add a conditional value setter based on join_status. This seems doable, but

I have downloaded FME 2020 software into my D drive and I have moved my FME 2020 Data into my D Drive as well. So I started with exercise 1.1 Begin but every time I hit the "RUN" button, I would get errors saying "Cannot open dataset `C:\\FMEData2020\\Data\\Boundaries\\LocalAreas.kml' because it keep reading it from the C drive, so how do I get it to read it from the D drive cos I have already moved the FMEData2020 into the D drive. The reason for moving is I don't have much space in my C drive. Any suggestions, please?

Hi list.I try to only make a full install once a year, when a new year release (e.g. 2021.0) is available, and use "engine only" for the lesser updates.I've just installed 2021.0 on our servers, and have encountered some problems that warrants installation action.In this scenario, is it possible to do a downgrade as an "engine only" update, or is that only possible for newer updates ?I.e., how tight are the GUI/queue frameworks tied to the engine versions ?Any insights are appriciated.Cheers.

Hi. I have a WMS service (Aerial) I would like to consume and clip to a JPEG or similar. Is this possible and if so, what transformers would I need to use?When I open the WMS I currently get an error...|ERROR |<WMS> Exception detected for the GetMap operation, requested Content-Type, 'image/png', returned Content-Type, 'text/html'.Eventually, I want to add this to a dwg output.Any help would be appreciated.Regards, Paul

Hi,I have some problems to write an overview to a raster on a PostGIS-Database. The workflow runs without a problem, but the original raster is reduced in size. It gets the same resolution from the lowest resampler. What is wrong or where is my logic mistake?Thanks!
