I have a dwg file that I'm converting to a KML File. As you see in the attached work space the line features that are routed to the Utility_Lines KMLStyler have a label. Everything works great until I route them through a KMLRegionSetter then they stop showing. If I set GeometryFilter_2 to route the lines and arcs past the KMLRegionSetter they will show again. What could be the problem? There must be a setting somewhere to make this work.
could someone help me with this issues, I'm trying to copy existing polyline data to existing feature class, but I get this problem

Hello therewe have exported a GDB to XML and we want to extract the dataset name the filed type, domain name, and in another table the domain name and domain value, this information will be used for mapping purpose
I have a negative buffer process that was created in Workbench 2017 that has stopped working properly. The input dissolved feature geometry (also created via an FME process) is being rejected in the Bufferer transformer. Nothing has changed with the data, we have updated Workbench to 2018 but the dissolve process no longer runs properly. Any ideas?Thanks,--gary
Hi,Is there any easy way to export the fme gallery to a table - I would like to index it using elasticsearch and make a dynamic dropdown for a user to select their intended projection.Thank youOliver
How can I convert a string to a number so I can perform arithmetic calculations?
Hello there!Into FME Server 2017.1 I have some process failing for some reasons and I get the error into the log.But when I look at the process status, it's Completed. Then, I don't get any notfications alerting me about this.Shouldn't I receive a Failure message instead?i could put an Emailer into my workbench, yeah, I know, but I would prefer the FME Server notification.Into FME Desktop I get the Failure message though.2019-01-03 17:03:36| 203.7| ÂÂÂ 0.0|ERROR |A fatal error has occurred. Check the logfile above for detailsthanks
Hello there 'I am reading a XML file , and looking to expose the hidden attribute as you can see in the Pic I tried attribute expose and list exploder but it didn't work
Hello,I have please a question about the "CombineOnAttribute" parameter for LineCombiner (FME 2019 Beta)Is the logical relation between selected attributes to combine on is "AND" or "OR". In other words, 2 lines will be combined if they have same values for all selected attributes together or at least one common attribute ? Thank you very much.
Hi, I have some features that contain the especific date, but in others features from the same file no have date value...How I replicate the date for all by fme_basename? I´m reading many files at once and dates are different for each file.Thank´s
Hi FME users, I have 2 streams feature classes(points) I would like to calculate the distance between each point to it relevant point (based on key field) Ex : point A from the first feature class can be connected to multipoint from the other feature class, we have a feature name attribute for the point A in both features.

I am dealing with a line dataset that has features that all have different orientations, but all of them are connected to another linear feature. I am looking to change the orientation of the blue lines (photo below) so the orientation end point will be at the red line. The orientor transformer looks to be the best option, but i am not sure how to filter out the lines that the orientation is opposite, Any suggestions?
Good morning,I have two tables, being extracted from an azure database. I am using the inner join command, however when it runs, it repeats and processes the features from one table the same number of features in the other table. For Example: Table A has 10 features and Table B has 11. When I run the SQLCreator Table A gets repeated 11 times (# of features Table B has). Is there a way to prevent this. Below is a screenshot of the SQLCreator. Thanks,David
I have noticed in FME 2018.0 and 2019b that the Microsoft SQL Server Non-Spatial writer only raises a warning when a feature is not written due to (for example) NULL value constraints.Personally I think that an error should be raised in any situation where a feature is not written to the database.Despite the warning, the workspace continuous normally and the feature even shows up in the features written summary.
I'm having trouble building my DWG file again. I've done tests in several ways, using FeatureWriter, using template file, but nothing helped me.Follows my workspace: I just need to read the file and write it to DWG identical to the input file. See the differences in the images below: the input filethe output fileinputoutputinputoutput Thank´s
I am attempting to generate an html report via fme. Attached is a screenshot that shows the existing report that I've been able to generate with some of my desired modifications. I've also uploaded my fme model here: I'm trying to do 3 things with the report: 1. Color the text based on the content (if water data, color blue, if sewer data color green, etc...)2. Right-Align the population column on right side.3. Possibly adjust column widths. I've attempted to do this with the Custom HTML option in the HTMLReportGenerator, but had no success as I am not familiar with how fme references the actual data that is then exposed onto the report. Please help... :)
Thanks for the help in advance and happy holidays everyone.I am running the SystemCaller to undertake a particular task, it takes a while and FME runs it multiple times. The issues is I need FME to continue only after system caller has completely finished all the tasks. Can someone please suggest a work around, I have tried a counter but not having much luck with it at the moment.Thank youOliver
I have these features that I would like to transform and group into JSON output:package_idpackage_nameresource_nameresource_url1Package AResource 1http://www.resource-A1.com1Package AResource 2http://www.resource-A2.com1Package AResource 3http://www.resource-A3.com2Package BResource 1http://www.resource-B1.com2Package BResource 2http://www.resource-B2.com3Package CResource 1http://www.resource-C1.com3Package CResource 2http://www.resource-C2.com3Package CResource 3http://www.resource-C3.com4Package DResource 1http://www.resource-D1.com The resulting dataset should consist of 4 features, one feature for each package. For each feature or package I need an attribute containing the package data in JSON format. For example the value of the JSON attribute for first feature should be:{ "id" : "1", "name" : "Package A", "resources" : [ {"name" : "Resource 1", "url" : "http://www.resource-A1.com"}, {"name" : "Resource 2", "url" : "http://www.resource-A2.com
I work in local government and I am constructing a BI report using telematics data from refuse collection vehicles combined with weighbridge data from our waste disposal partners to analyse waste composition from residential waste in specific geographic locations. Our telematics system on our refuse collection fleet can be used to generate reports on the location of every lifted residential bin including datetime, vehicle registration and the WGS84 latitude and longitude.Vehicles are unloaded at the waste disposal plant several times a day, providing a ticket number along with the weight, type and quality of the individual load which we receive as via email on a regular basis. This includes the vehicle registration and the datetime.Complicating matters; vehicles are often swapped between teams depending on queues and breakdowns, can assist other times and vice versa, and spare vehicles are sometimes used. This means it is not adequate to simply match the daily summary total of bin lifts
I hope this isn't a repost - I tried posting once, but something went wrong.I am trying to read data from a CouchDB database, and would like to be able to use a view with startkey and endkey to limit the documents that are read. I have done some digging around and can't find a way to do this with the built-in CouchDB reader. I can do it with the HTTPCaller, but then have to use a JSONFragmenter to get the documents into individual features, and manually set attributes to be exposed (this is the most cumbersome part).Am I missing something, or is using the Couch HTTP API and the HTTPCaller the way this needs to be done?
dear all, I need to create a space where i can upload drone images or videos, then geotag (if automated better) and later search them. do you have some example of something like this? regards.
I have some large processes running on FME Server and they seem to be leaving a lot of files hanging around in the "FME_TEMP" location (Users\\s_fmesrv\\appdata\\local\\temp). Ended up with about 40GB in there in a week, filled up the hard drive, crashed the machine. Anyone have a good solution for automatically purging this folder? The solutions on FMEpedia seem to be manual processes geared to Workbench on a desktop...
