Hi, everyoneI wanna export attributes to a word table, so I use MSWordStyler transformer to generate a table element before writing into a Word writer. The pic below shows how MSWordStyler's parameters are set. However, when I run the workspace I got a error says that "Error message: 'AttributeError: 'unicode' object has no attribute 'append'".Is there something I miss or somthing set incorrectly? What should I do to deal with it?💗

FME server upgrade 2019 python libraries

Created a new instance with fme 2019.While testing if the workspaces still work I've encountered different issues.I have a workspace that requires, numpy, laspy,scipy,sklearn.I have created a docker image with ubuntu 18, installed python3 and the necessary libraries and uploaded the files to Resources/Plugins/Python folder( also tried creating the folder python36) The current version of numpy shipped with FME cloud is 1.13.3, when i run my workspaces i keep getting :numpy.ufunc size changed, may indicate binary incompatibility. Expected 216 from C header, got 192 from PyObjectI've tried adding an upgraded numpy version to the python folder but it will always use the default numpy installation.I've uploaded different versions of scipy, but with no successIf i add the latest version of scipy i get : UserWarning: NumPy 1.14.5 or above is required for this version of SciPy (detected version 1.13.1) Any ideas on how to fix this?

j'ai des fichiers .tif en entrée (reader). je voudrais renommer tous les fichiers en lot ( 500 fichiers) en ajoutant un code(XXXXX) à son nom original. Par exemple: 358550_f8_XXXXX, 358551_f8_XXXXX, etc . Les fichiers en sorti seront dans la même extension (.tif). Vous avez de suggestions simples pour le réaliser dans fme desktop?Merci de votre info.Cala

Unable to expose fme_basename attribute from FeatureReader

I've few shape files in zipped format that are to be read in FeatureReader transformer. Tried setting 'fme_basename' attribute in additional attributes to be exposed but it's blank. Any thoughts please? Thanks!

Hi I've right clicked on a table in the sqlcreator and chosen 'Script as select' and done a very trivial where clause. the problem is the columns are all varchar200 and not dates .. what have I missed?

Clipping elevation grid data (geotiff)

I'm trying to clip some DSM's in geotiff format to a specific boundary. These geotiffs are elevation grids so they aren't multiple bands, instead they are just filled with elevation values. I'm currently reading them in as geotiff's and trying to clip using the clipper transform however I keep running into a problem. The first is that I'm getting two outputs because the geotiff extends into another clippee section. See below:My last issue, which is a bit minor is that the exported TIFF headers don't say that the raster is filled with elevation grid data. I have to confirm when importing into any other software. Installing the SharePoint Online Package

Has anyone uploaded Files to Salesforce through the Rest API? Look to attach items like a GEOPDF, kmz , etc to opportunities in the attachment table.

New Behavior ... Why would FME be sending 2 emails to each recipient once it runs through the FMEServerEmailGenerator transformer?

We've never seen this issue happen before and we have multiple jobs on Desktop and Server using FMEServerEmailGenerators without issue. For some reason I cannot determine the 2 most recent FME Desktop 2019.2 jobs (They are not running on FMEServer) keep sending 2 emails to each recipient every time they execute. I've looked at the email addresses and there are no duplicated email addresses. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Hello, How can i get the attachments from a AGOL layer reader? Would like to add that to the Emailer transformer, to get that in the attachments from a Email.

How to set the maximum file size for logs from FME Desktop?

I have some FME Workbenches that run frequently (i.e. every minute) and the logs are always working great if I find an error or need to check up on a specific run. I run the workbenches through task scheduler. The log file just keeps growing, and will only refresh if I delete the log file. This is taking up literally gigabytes of space. I'd like to set the maximum file size for the log file - for example, one MB. That way I can see all recent log files (i.e. logs from the last few days) but I don't have to keep any of the really old logs, and they can get removed automatically as new logs come through. I know you can set the "max features to record" for a log, but I don't see anything about limiting the actual log file. From what I've seen so far, changing the max features to record doesn't limit how big the log file can be. Anyone have suggestions for this?

Access to a File on FME Server

I want to access to an excel file, which is on the FMEServer Resouces Folder. Because i have to read out some values from this excel i put into an pythonscript, which build an XML Filter for a WFS Reader. The pythonscript is in a private Parameter. First input in Append is being entered twice.

The circled number is exactly 2x the number of records in that input - an sde point file. This happens no matter which file is "on top." In the translation log, the Total Features Read is exactly the right number.Total Features Written is too high by exactly the number of records in the first input. All other inputs are appended correctly. Does anyone know why this is happening?Thank you,Randy McGregor

extracting information from different folders in KML to convert to the shapefile

Hi All, I have a KML data which has many folder . Each folder is having different set of geometry eg route1 ,route 2 with other attributes . also each folder has unique number which i want to link to route information . herewith i have attached the screen shot of the KML highlighting the information which i am trying to fetch . Also attaching the KML file . Things i have tried : i mange to do the geometry extraction with KML description for each route but unable to link the route to the folder number . Any suggestion on this ? Thank you in advance.

Hello there I have data with attribute name : provider_id ,the user will upload this data via a published workspace, but I need to make sure the user upload only data with a range of provider_id in the work space I am reading the fme_server user, then filter authorized provider_id value , now how can make sure the provider_id values in the data is in the range from that excel sheet

Trouble setting up a dynamic workflow - writer is generating columns based on all features from reader; not just the one specified at runtime.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I haven't found this process to be very intuitive and I haven't found a solution in the documentation. Let's say I have a database with 10 different tables. There are some common columns in each of these tables, but they also all have unique columns. I want to create a dynamic workspace so that a user can open it, run it, and specify the name of the table they're interested in to send only the features from that one table on to the writer. So I create a reader, I select "single merged feature type", I specify the names of all the tables in the Table Names box in the reader parameters, create it and add it to the workspace. I create a writer (let's say it's an ESRI shapefile), I set the User Attributes to Dynamic, and I connect the two. I run the workspace and in the "Feature Types to Read" parameter I provide the name of just one of the tables. I look at the output and it looks okay at first; this

FME 2019.1 creating empty duplicate of named ArcSDE version?

I use FME 2019.1 to read and manipulate features in a versioned Oracle ArcSDE geodatabase. I recently discovered that FME appears to have made a duplicate of one of my versions with test edits. See the screenshot of the duplicate version names. I have not used FME to write data back to ArcSDE, particularly not with this version. The original version (username JACOLLINS) is protected and still has test edits intact, but the FME_SERVICE version is public and has no edits (nothing returned in ArcMap version changes tool). Does anyone have an idea as to how this duplication occurred? Thanks!

Connection to ArcGIS Portal from FME desktop

Hi,I'm trying to make a connection from FME desktop with our ArcGIS Portal using Oauth2.0 application to read FeatureServer from portal. I can get to connect the App from Portal side to FME desktop using webservices manager. the connection is then established. but when I try to read featureserver using reader I get this error. is anyone knows a solution or workaround for this.Error: Python Exception <HTTPError>: 403 Client Error: ModSecurity Action for url( hier is our portal URL)I get same error if I use user name and password. Replacing a line in an existing polygon

Hello, I have two shapefiles :an existing polygon shapefilea newer file containing a line (more precise) that covers part of the existing polygon fileMy goal is to obtain a polygon in which the more recent line is replaced in the initial polygon. I have identified the indexes of the points that need to be deleted in the initial file but I don't know how to add between these two indexes the points of the more recent line.I thought of making a loop in a customTransformer but it seems quite complex... Do you have any suggestions ?

How can I open an ESRI .style file?

I downloaded some soil data from here. Included in the data is an ESRI shapefile and a .style file, which I can open in ArcMap to style my layer. However, I can't figure out how to open this file in FME. There doesn't seem to be the right format in the reader. Since I want to do this multiple times, I want to figure out how to automate the styling progress with FME to let's say create a kml-file with the correct styling in the end. Is there a way to open this file in FME?
