Experiencing, Schema features output from the SQLExecutor only after the Data features. This is causing issues for dynamic workspace. Currently managing this by connecting FeatureHolder to the Result (Data features) port of SQLExecutor, to hold the Data features and let the Schema features reach dynamic writer first. From the above screenshot it can be noticed that, Schema features are started coming out only after the Data features. To address this, required either of the below for SQLExecutor.Schema features output first before Data features all the time.Required "Output Schema Before Data Features" parameter,  similar to SchemaScanner. FME version: 2022.2.2

I want to pass a feature class name into a workspace and have the workspace tell me if the feature class exists in my SQL enterprise geodatabase. The purpose is if the Feature Class exists I want to backup the existing feature class, then truncate its data and append new data into it. If the Feature Class doesn't exist I want to create it. I've tried the Schema (any format) method with no luck (when you pick ESRI geodatabase SDE if requires you to select the table you want to check against manually and I want to pass in a parameter). I really thought there would just be an "Exists" transformer, but sadly I can't find one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone, I am looking for the right transformer to do a simple table manipulation here. So I have T1 (a table with multiple columns) and T2 (a table with a single column representing groups). I would like to duplicate T1 n number of times (n = number of groups in T2) where each row in T1 would be copied to be represented in each group to give T3 as a result.  Thanks in advance!

Hi community! I installed FME Flow 2023.1.1.1 on Ubuntu 22.04 with installer [1]. I choosesetup type "Distributed / Fault Tolerant" to use an existing Postgres instanceaccording to [2]. I then set up the Postgres database according to [3].I also changed proxyPort in /opt/fmeflow/Utilities/tomcat/conf/server.xmlto the correct port number. Then installed, enabled, and started the systemdunits according to [4]. Everything worked at this point and I could log in as admin and change thepassword as required. I could also log out and log in as admin. I thencreated a new admin user. When I logged out and try to log in as the new userthe landing page was stuck in an infinite refresh loop. I also deleted allcookies which did not have any effect on the constant reloading. The URL is https://view-db.vinci-energies.de/fmeserver/. I uninstalled FME Flow, dropped the fmeserver database, and installed FME Flowagain as before. Now the landing page doesn't even prompt for the admin loginan

I completed all lessons of Connect to Data, yet my status didn't change to Completed. Also, I attended the FME Accelerator live webinar, yet my status hasn't been updated either. What am I missing?

Hi, I am running FME from the command line. I was wondering, because I've never been able to work it out, is there a way to make it so that FME does not report anything to the console window so there isn't as much text? Or at least less text? For example I don't want to report all this progress text  The way I am calling FME is like this:fme WORKSPACE.fmw ^ --PARAM_1 ABC ^ --PARAM_2 123 Any help would be appreciated thanks

Since I upgraded to FME Form 2023.1 the transformer list options , such as "Upgradable Transformers" and "Incomplete Transformers" are missing in the Navigator, even when I have transformers in my workspace which are incomplete or can be upgraded. Is there a way to enable this option?

I'm working with groups of features and I want minimize the number of blocking transformers in my workflow. Right now I'm using a Sorter to sort features in each group and a PythonCaller to make some attribute manipulation and comparison. Both transformers block the flow so  I wanted to get rid of the Sorter and do the feature sorting inside the PythonCaller but I don't see how to do it.Once I have the list of features, what should I do to sort them by one or any number of attributes? Thank you! import fmeimport fmeobjects class FeatureProcessor(object):     def __init__(self):        self.feature_list = []     def input(self, feature):        self.feature_list.append(feature)     def close(self):        pass     def process_group(self):        for feature in self.feature_list:             ## ...

Hi, I'm trying to read PDFs and it looks like each character of each word is represented as individual features. Each PDF has thousands of these text features that I need to combine to make words. I'm stumped as to how to string these single character text features together to create words.  I have attached an example below. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello. I have a question. In "list_of_fixes" I have a list of track points and some of the tracks have more than 75 points. For tracks that have a higher number of points, I would need to filter and shorten to 75 points. The reduction in the number of points should be from the center to both sides. This means if I have, for example, 81 track points, I will delete 3 points from each end of the list. In the attachment I am sending fmwt, where the list is visible. Some ideas? Thank you very much

Hi everyone,  I have a dwg with autocad blocks which has several layers of polygons, polylines and annotation. I have a workspace to extract and convert these to shapefiles.  The problem I have is that multipart polygons and polylines are being split by the FME reader. When opened with ArcMap or Autodesk TrueView, the multiparts appear correctly. I have tried to play around with the parameters of the dwg reader (entity option/advanced options...but everything I have tried so far has not worked and some of the settings read far fewer components than needed).  Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance! :)

Here is my use case: I have created a workflow that works well and can handle multiple files. However, when I publish this workflow to FME Flow, I have the following problem when I copy and paste multiple files at once: Copy and paste two files at once.The resource or network directory sees the change and triggers the same workflow twice (see https://community.safe.com/s/article/Do-the-Directory-modified-Automation-triggers-support-single-events-for-multiple-file-datasets)The first workflow runs fine and writes all my data to a databaseThe second workflow (which is the same, just triggered a few milliseconds later) fails because of a "UNIQE KEY constraint violation". This is a bit annoying and I am looking for another solution. Maybe if I can run the workflow file by file. I have a input data file with a unique ID (BORRHAL_NR) with 2 variables (Date/Granvattenniva). I am using a python caller in a CT to generate a chart with matplotlib. I would like to produce as many charts as unique IDs, and I am using the group by in the custom transformer but even though it produces in this case 4 charts I see that is using all data from all unique IDs in those charts (except for the first one that is actually correct).Any ideas?I am using FME 2022.2.4. (Build 22792)

The webpage titled, "Efficiently Convert ArcSDE to GDB" doesn't provide documentation on how to do that. Is there a tutorial or documentation somewhere on how to convert ArcSDE to a File geodatabase?  

Hi everyone, I have a workspace/server app which has a Data Download service published. It produces a downloadable zip file of the writer results. We a user clicks ok to run the server app and the status is completed, the data download url is shown. I have an Automation however which receives a topic and this triggers another workspace to send an email with the job details (rest api).Is there a way to hide the above data download link URL and still create the url behind the scenes>

In my workspace, I have an FTPCaller Transformer that uploads (copies) files from a folder to an ftp site.  Next step is I want to delete all the pdf files in the source folder from where all the pdf files were copied to the ftp site. I have tried attaching this solution (File Copy - DELETE (safe.com)) after the FTPCaller but the files are not deleted, besides it seems to only delete a single named file. Does not seem to handle wildcards like *.pdf. I also tried FileDeleter FME Hub (safe.com) and it not only did not delete the files, but I was reading it does not work in FME Flow, and I plan to upload my workspace to FME Flow and run it on an incremental schedule.  Should I create a separate workspace that just deletes all the pdf files in the folder and run it after the files are copied to the ftp site? In essence, what is the best way to delete *.pdf files in a folder?  

Hi, I am struggling with one simple task that is extracting information from wms and saving it as geotiff. 1. I would like to use HTTPCaller and ImageFeather to extract geotiffs from wms service https://environment.data.gov.uk/spatialdata/lidar-composite-digital-terrain-model-dtm-1m-2022/wms 2 The URL of the wms should include BBOX=527389,177252,534694,181976&WIDTH=3000&HEIGHT=3000 to minimise the time to read the data 3. The geotiffs should be saved in Esri Geodatabase (File Geodb Raster Dataset) Thank you for any help

how to continue this workbench as no data have passed to next stage how can i redirect the data to final data if no data is passed in this step?

I try to upload a file with the FTPCaller with FTP. It works manually through windows browser, FileZilla and with WinSCP without problems.But i cannot get it to work with FME. As far as I can tell the setting is correct.  The error message does not give me any information that can point me closer to the issue. What is the issue and how can I solve it?Upload failed (at start/before it took off) 

Hello, I use the Affiner Transformer to transform from a local coordinate system to the RD83 national system. Now I want to reverse the transformation, but I don't know how to adjust the 6 parameters. A/E = 1.00002B = -0.00002C = 5300000D = 0.00002F = 5600000 Can someone help me please? Thank you.

 Hi,I added a multi-select choice parameter to my FME form, but there are more than 100 values to choose from. Is there a way to let the user select multiple options per click, similar to the Shift+click shortcut in Windows? Thanks,
