Hello I'm currently transforming a GeoTiff in a point raster using centerpointreplacer. I have a grid of points every 100m.The next step is to add 8 attributes for the 8 neighbours (or less if the point is on a border) and in each attribute set the slope from this point to the neighbor [in %].I have z values for each point, I don't know how to get the distance between 2 points and how to add the attributes according to the neighbors.Maximum distance for neighbors: @sqrt($(Resolution)^2 + $(Resolution)^2) * 1.1  Thanks,Antoine

The second image represents the two input layers. It is possible to see that there are shifts between the layers. Following the AreaOnAreaOverlayer (fig. 2), “intermediate” polygons are created. I performed a TestFilter to identify polygons <= 1. Now, I would like to dissolve polygons less than or equal to 1 on the rest of the polygons according to a specific attribute (OBJECTID_CAD). Indeed, I would like to respect as much as possible the geometry of one of the two layers (which was created by surveyors).

I have a column of health conditions for individual patients.Often patients have multiple health conditions. If they have more than one, then the conditions are seperated by a ; (Some patients have up to 5 separate conditions)I need to find out how often individual health conditions feature. ie how many times is "Arthritis" listed as one of the health conditions? I've used the Attribute Splitter, using the ; as the delimiter. This creates a list of the health conditions, I've named the list "Health_Conditions". I now want to find out the number of times each health condition appears in the list / exposed values of the list. ie how many times does eg "Arthritis" appear? And how many times does "Diabetes" appear?  Note: From the screen shots below you can see health conditions can appear in any of the exposed value lists{} I've tried Statistics Calculator, Counter, ListHistogrammer but can't get the result I am looking for. Hi,When using a 'File/Folder/URL' public parameter inside a GroupBox with Conditional Visibility of the user parameters, it doesn't seem to enable file upload within a published FlowApp. When you're editing the Workspace App in Flow the expected behaviour is working with a display window which allows you to upload a file. Also when running the workspace in Flow it works. Only doesn't work in a published app. Is this a known issue of FME Flow 2023.1.2 and Form 2023.1.2.0?Previous post and reply by Kelvin Jenkins seem to highlight this. Thanks.

Hi all, Is it possible to add a generated histogram to HTML? I was going to output as a PNG also but wanted to export within an HTML dashboard. Doesn't seem like it is going to work based on the options of linked or from an already exported image.  Thank you!

Hi, I can read an arcgis online feature service using fme AGO reader. The globalids all have a curly brackets in the inspector. Is there a way to write the feature to a new table without the curly brackets. Curly brackets are messing things up when using globalids in url links. thanks

Hi all, I want to save a step in my workspace by using AttributeManager to generate an ESRI Global ID (aka, a UUID with "{}" in the string value) with the @UUID() function. I do this with the @TImestamp() function, but I don't quite understand the syntax...  @UUID(SIMPLE,UUID_FORMAT,[GLOBAL_ID|UUID_ONLY])  I've tried a bunch of different options, but how would I skip the "SIMPLE,UUID_FORMAT," options? All I want to stipulate is the GLOBAL_ID option.... thanks!

I frequently use Form/Desktop to grab data from SDE or from Geodatabases.  Creating the reader(s) is pretty easy. Load the dialogue, point at the connection file, load the list and select your feature class, and then press ok. This brings in the tables and features just fine. However, it seems like it never fails that I need to bring in another table or feature class from the same connection. If I save and close the workbench, I have to start the reader dialogue again. When I bring in another feature class or table, the new table also shows up as a different connection in the navigator pane. It makes troubleshooting a little harder when I have several different readers in the navigator that ultimately point to the same database or folder.  Is there a way to reuse the existing connections? The navigator and the properties don't have a way where to "double click" into the connection and add another table or feature class to the canvas. Does something like this exist?

Hi,When working with visibility of published parameters through conditions in Form, is it possible to have multiple test clauses for a parameter?Similar to the Test transformer with logic "if", "or".Thanks!

If I run each reader individually (one-at-a-time) then I get correct output from each of the readers. If I choose 'Run Entire Workspace' then one reader only processes one record and the other reader processes normally. All feature classes are in the same file geodatabase. Any ideas why 'Run Entire Workspace' doesn't give the expected results?Thank you.

Hi All, I've had something that I've been wondering about for a while.In this example, I'm reading 11 SQL tables in using a feature reader and all of them contain a WKB column. I need to run these through a geometry replacer to assign their geometry.   I tried running them all through a single geometry replacer, and using an attribute filter to return them into their own streams, but running them all through one transformer ruins the schema. Is there anyway to return the original schema? Or do I need to create 11 different geometry replacers and keep each stream 'seperate'? I'm aware that I can define the output attribute definition for each layer but I wanted to know if there was a less 'manual way. Many thanks, Sam

In my network I have multiple closures (Green Circles). Downstream from these closures I have risers (Blue Circles). I also have multiple boundaries (Red Polygons) which contain an x number of risers.  I need to calculate within each boundary which is the first riser that the cable hits after the closure. I need to mark these risers as value = 1 in each boundary as shown in illustration. Ive got as far as using a shortest path finder to try navigate to each of my Risers from each of my Closures but without much success Does anyone has any guidance on what method I can use to determine this?

I have installed FME Form 2023 on a virtual machine and when I try to run FME Workbench via a Remote Desktop session, the Workbench's main window does not display anything. I can see the title bar and, if I click at the right places, the different menus, but nothing regarding the workspace.  I have installed at least two different revisions of FME 2023 with the same behavior. However, with FME 2022, everything seems to work flawlessly. So the issue looks to be related with 2023 only, inside a Remote Desktop session (no issue when using on my laptop).  I tried to enable the GPU rendering after reading this link (https://knowledge.civilgeo.com/kb/enabling-gpu-rendering-for-microsoft-remote-desktop/), but that didn't change anything. Any suggestion how to fix that issue?   

Looking at article Working with Geodatabase Field Aliases: Altering Alias Values (safe.com) I am trying to run the same directly to an AGOL hosted feature layer. I have created the requisite "_alias" field to match those that I need alias values for, but no dice. Also tried adding the same fields (matching the attribute manager) to the writer attributes (manual setting) but the result simply created additional fields with the "_alias" suffix. Is this possible with this writer?

After upgrade to 2023.1.2 FME Form from FME Desktop 2022.2 Microsoft SQL Server Non Spatial Writer start writing empty attributes for all text fields but Datetime field still populating. Have anyone encountered this issue before? I tried changing TYPE to text, varchar_max, char, non of these works on FME Form 2023.1.2I have replaced that writer, replaced the workspace with brand new canvas, still no luck. But when I run the same exact workspace in FME Desktop 2022.2 the table populates fine. To make it even more confusing, within the same workspace I have another SQL Server writer but it just goes to another table, both version are able to populate all records.Something interesting I saw on the log for 2023.1.2 version is that before it showed 11 record written to the table, 120 attributes were truncated. (not sure why?), but in 2022.2 version there's no warning on this issue.I also attached log files from both versions.

Hello , i am confused in my workspace .i would like to extract the coordinates of start point and end point of the lines .So I used coordinates extractor index 0 , and other coordinates extractor index -1 .so I got the coordinates .but how I know , this coordinates belong for which point id ( I mean which side of line is start and which side is -the end ) and depends on what ?my target to get the coordinates and the relates points id to it .I would like to get theses attributes ID line | id point start | coordinates (x)start | coordinates (y) end | id point end |coordinates (x) end |coordinates (y) end as example .see picture , I need to extract the coordinates of each line ( start and end ) and know which id of the point that relates to this coordinate Fme 2021

The end product is intended for viewing only so ancillary staff can see and drill down to certain engineering levels without having to download or know how to use engineering software like Bentley or CAD.  I have an FME pipeline built already so am going back thru and optimizing. looking for others who maybe have completed a similar workflow to compare notes with. What worked \\ what hasn't etc.  Some notes - Client does not have ItemTypes set up so am not working with much attribute info. I am expanding cells to extract constituent geometry. Interested also in methods to handle 3d Geometry.  We are also interested in utilizing FME Server to potentially automate as new files are added to a directory. Please feel free to direct message.

Hello, I want to rotate my point cloud using 3drotate along the Z Axis. The thing is the rotation is made around the origin 0,0,0. So i extracted the centerpoint of my point cloud to use it as an Origin but I don't know what to put in Direction to still rotate it around Z axis Thank you

Hi, I have 2 data sets (shape-files). A point dataset with 3d-points or at least points where the elevation is stored in an attribute field (different data quality) and a polyline dataset with 2d-lines whose vertices are identical to the points from the point dataset. Is there a way to assign the elevations from the point datasets to the line vertices and then create 3d polylines from them? Thanks for your help
