FME Flow

For some reason my Server Apps no longer have a "Run" button when they are executed. See image below. All the Server Apps are executing workspaces that are in the same Repository. The only change that was made to the Repository was giving an additional user permission to access the Repository. The Server App tokens are all still viable. Any thoughts on how to recover? Thanks,Frank

 Hi, After upgrading our FME Server from version 2017 to 2019.1, we get errors when running workbenches that uses the FMEserverjobsubmitter. We have a large workbench that is scheduled to run on the FME Server at 00:01 every night. It forks off other workbenches by running the FMEserverjobsubmitter transformer to submit jobs to the FME Server itself using a web connection (with address http://localhost, admin-account and password). We have the job scheduled in the "Schedules"-tab in FME-server.When the job is automatically triggered by the schedule all calls to the FMEserverjobsubmitter gives the following error: "FMEServerJobSubmitter (ServerJobSubmissionFactory): Could not initialize connection to server "http://__OMITTED__". I'm using FME server to execute a workspace when an email arrives. I have configured a notification and it works fine, my workspace is launched. My workspace fails sometimes when I try to read an attachment in my workspace. The error message indicates that the file can't be read. This problem occurs because FME server downloads the file in a temporary folder that has the same name as the email subject. If this subject contains special characters (such as ?), the workspace can't access to that directory, due to encoding problems. Is there a way to configure the directory in which the attachement are downloaded? I've tried to use the "Download Attachments To" option while creating may Email Notification, but Fme Server stills create subfolder. I've also tried to use Automations, but it doesn't work because I may receive several attachments in the same email, and automation is unable to process multiple

Hello,  we have problem with FME Server - it is unable to open log file, so every job ends with immediate crash after 1 second. The error message is: Unable to open log file `/opt/fmeserver/resources/logs/engine/current/jobs/job_11.log' The folder „jobs“ exists in this location and is empty. FME Server is able to write there - has sufficient rights. The folder „jobs“ was automatically created when the first job was run - time of creation is the same. So if FME Server created this folder, I suppose it has enough rights to write there. The configuration is this: FME Server 2019.1.3 Build 19642 connected to Active Directory with last security patch installed (*.jar file copied in dedicated folder and restart of the server)OS - Linux 64-bit Debian 9.11 FME Server was upgraded from version 2018.1 on the same machine. As the tutorial stands these need to be defined every single time, which is a bit of a pain as they stay similar to the defaults 80% of the time. We have a set of jobs that feed a enterprise system that are pushing into a Enterprise GDB. We just found in debugging that a fatal error: An error occurred while attempting to retrieve the connection parameters from the connection file 'C:\\Users\\ahdor140\\Downloads\\GCSS_PROC - GIS.sde'A fatal error has occurred. Check the logfile above for details  Our issue is that with this fatal error; the job is reported as:statusSUCCESS This doesn't seem right to me.

I have a long running workbench on the FME server. In FME Server 2019, I would like to run a workspace with the data download service that generates an email containing both the {downloadURL} and a message coming from an attribute.  If I use the Email body template on the subscription,<fmeblock type="optional">Click here to download the result: {downloadUrl}</fmeblock>, then I can get url, but not the attribute data.  If I use the EMailGenerator/FMEServerNotifier then I can get the attribute data, but not the url. Thoughts on how to get both?  Note that using {downloadURL} in the subscriber_content for the FMEServerNotifier, doesn't work, as it's not resolved.

Hi, I'm trying to set up a workflow where I attach the intermediate result of a workspace to an Email as an Excel spreadsheet but I have troubles writing only one file. The Emailer documentation hints at using TempPathNameCreator and a FeatureWriter but I could not find any concrete examples on FME hub. When I run the translation every feature is written to a separate Excel file instead of a single one. I'm sure this can easily be done but I can't figure out how. Thanks for any help!

Hi everybody,I'm trying to call a datadownload service from a workbench with an HTTPCaller. All works perfectly: the call start the job on fme server and at the end I've the json response with the link and other parameters.In my parameters from the HTTPCaller I've set the opt_requesteremail but no email are sent with the download link to the requester.Anyone have tested it? I use fme 2018.1.0.3 I thought a workaround, but I like to use this parameter that made what I need... Thanks for the support. 

Hi, Could FME meet this requirement? I want to receive 1000's of HTTP Post payloads containing 500 bytes of json data. I have access to a 2 engine FME Server and obviously it can work with a single http post but worried about queuing as i have no way of rate limiting it and it seems running a workbench each time on demand is not the most streamlines process. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi,Managing Tokens has changed in FME Server 2019 vs 2018 and I noticed the url for generating a Token with an expiration of 3 days without an update does not deliver the same token in 2019 in contrast to version 2018.The url used has the format:https://<fmeserver>/fmetoken/generate.json?user={{FMEUSER}}&password={{FMEPW}}&expiration=3&timeunit=day&update=falseand creates a new token (with a new 3 days expiration) every time in FME Server 2019 in contrast to 2018 where is returns the same token within the expiration period.I’ve searched for some kind of equivalent url, but haven’t found it yet.Is it still possible to get the same token during the expiration period in 2019 and what (service( url should I use?Kind regards, Krien Guijt

HiI have entered my Office 365 Outlook credential in for my organisation email account. This work and FME Server return "Valid" when I click validate.However, we really wish to use a shared mailbox for the FME Server configuration (fme@). I assumed I had to enter the IMAP Account in FME Server as using the same password I used for my organisation account. However, this doesn't work and it says "invalid credentials" when I validate this.I have also tried just adding the shared mail box address with the same password but I get the same error. My organisation is hosting FME Server and the firewall is allowing IMAP traffic for this application so I'm a bit stuck,Has anyone else tried to do this or have any experience/ advice on how to get around it?

Safe Software is planning to drop native support for Ubuntu 16.04 and Debian 9 in FME 2020.0. Ubuntu 18.04 is already supported and Debian 10 support will be added. We have and end customer with 3 FME Desktop licenses;2 FME Professional Editon (Floating licenses)1 FME Databse Edition (Fixed license)In addition they have the add-on Curvefitter for FME (Floating License) FME Database Edition is installed (and licensed) on a server (running scheduled jobs). Is it possible to install(and licence) a FME Professional with Curvefitter on the same server? Or do they have to change license type for Curvefitter from floating to fixed?

In QGIS, I have to do an FME Server authentication. Otherwise I am not able to see the data provided by the WMS service. In ArcGIS Portal and ArcGIS Pro, I also try to add the WMS service.
