Hi, I'm trying to run the JobHistoryStatisticsGathering workspace on FME Server and I'm having some trouble with security. When I try to run the workspace I get the following errors in the log:JobHistoryReader_HTTPCaller_2(HTTPFactory): HTTP/FTP transfer error: 'SSL connect error' JobHistoryReader_HTTPCaller_2(HTTPFactory): Please ensure that your network connection is properly set up JobHistoryReader_HTTPCaller_2(HTTPFactory): No proxy settings have been entered. If you require a proxy to access external URLs, please ensure the appropriate information has been enteredI enabled HTTPS when installing the server, so the URL the workspace is trying to initially connect to is HTTPS://{servername}:80/fmetoken/generateI've modified the HTTP_Caller client parameters in the JobHistoryReader component to turn off SSL certificate validation as per the tip in https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/55053/fme-server-troubleshooting-fme-server-dashboards.htmlbut it still isn't
I would like to run a simple command-line command in FME and output the text to an excel table.I want to runtaslklist /s SERVERNAME /fi "ArcSOC*" > c:tasklist.txt ...and then send the results into other transformers. How would I do this?
Was sent a link to a Hack-a-thon page where someone had posted a workbench that lets you interrogate the FlexNet license manager. https://knowledge.safe.com/questions/59005/fme-challenge-12-days-of-fme-hackathon.html?page=2&pageSize;=10&sort;=newestI downloaded the workbench, but it's password protected. Does anyone have the password for workbench "FlexNetAnalyser.fmx?"
Hello,I'm looking to install FME Desktop on a Linux Deepin, but I'm having problems with broken dependencies and especially the libqt5core library . Are there other users who have been confronted with broken dependency errors? If so, how did you proceed?
I didn't use to have any issues with this, but after switching to a new PC and upgrading to Win10 I'm having problems with the FME licence failing due to CRC-check errors. For some reason, my PC now has a different registration key (2-014-702-034) than it had a month ago (2-992-327-444) when I got my last license file. There are no hardware changes to the PC (a HP Zbook with docking station). So what is it that can affect my reg. key this way?
Hi,I have just installed an FME Server 2018.0.0.2 and I had problems to detect the engines. I did some researchs and I suspect that the queue hostname is the responsible. During the installation, I set it to "mypcname".I saw in https://docs.safe.com/fme/2018.0/html/FME_Server_Documentation/Content/AdminGuide/Install-the-FME-Servers-Failover.htmthat we should mention "localhost".Is there a way to change this parameter after installing? I didn't find the file(s) where it is recorded...Do you know where they are?Thank you!

Hello,I have some confusion about the two versions of Minecraft- the one you access from Windows Store and the one you get from Mojang.@dmitribagh maybe you can help- I can't seem to find any info on using the Minecraft Reader/Writer with the Windows 10 version of Minecraft, v1.2.13. None of my output seems to accessible through the Minecraft software to use as a seed to create a new world. The storage locations for the created worlds are different for the Windows and Mojang editions. Can FME create output for this version of Minecraft or do I need to have the Mojang Java version installed instead? Thanks for any help!
We have been running FME Server 2017.1 on Docker for a while, its great! I am trying to build a new FME Server 2018.0 on Docker and everything builds and I can bring up the log in page but after entering my credentials the page just clears out my info and nothing happens, I can hit the healthcheck rest endpoint and it says everything is "OK" but if I try and hit an endpoint that requires credentials I get the error:"message": "Authentication failed: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: column l.last_updated does not exist\\n Position: 16"I see that I am getting an error from the FME DB container log saying: ERROR: column "guiline" of relation "fme_parameter" does not exist at character 117I am using the FME Server 2018.0 as is, the only change is the EXTERNALHOSTNAME variable. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello,Any example of synchronizing the data between Oracle non GIS and GIS systems using FME server.I have found an example but in my case the workflow is little different (link below). I just want to setup a trigger on Non GIS oracle database to create/update/delete the features in Oracle GIS database using FME server (SOA). https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/1098/single-edits-oracle-push-data-from-the-database-to.htmlAppreciate if you could throw some pointers. Thanks in Advance!
I have a workspace that removes specific vertices using a point feature class. Hopefully if anyone is looking for such a tool they will find this help topic. It is located on Geonet:https://community.esri.com/thread/95310Here is the problem:This workspace works wonderfully except that many features fail to output. After troubleshooting the workspace, I think I have determined the problem is with the incoming data. If I go back to the original data in ArcGIS and use the "Replace Geometry Tool" in the advanced editing toolbar. The features will then output in the workspace. However, I don't want to manually fix all of the failed features--though it's certainly better than manually deleting all of the vertices.Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this, and what can be done to fix it automatically?I have tried Repair Geometry (Arc) and Geometry Validator (FME) with everything passed . I have also tried loading copy/paste, and appending the features to a new geo
FME 2015.1.3 Desktop Workbench does not run on Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon 64-bit (Cinnamon-Version 3.6.7).When I do /opt/fme-desktop-2015/fmeworkbench -v, the little FME Desktop startup popup appears, but the startup fails when opening the application window, and the terminal says:/opt/fme-desktop-2015/fmeworkbench OpenGL Warning: glXChooseVisual: bad attrib=0x186a0, ignoring OpenGL Warning: glXChooseVisual: bad attrib=0x186a1, ignoring OpenGL Warning: glXChooseVisual: bad attrib=0x186a0, ignoring OpenGL Warning: glXChooseVisual: bad attrib=0x186a1, ignoring OpenGL Warning: vboxCall failed with VBox status code VERR_BUFFER_OVERFLOW Segmentation faultThe syslog says:kernel: [ 2859.882088] traps: fmeworkbench[3913] general protection ip:7fb2885ce2f0 sp:fa59ed490f772252 error:0 in libc-2.23.so[7fb288599000+1c0000]FME 2017.1 Desktop Workbench however runs perfectly on the very same machine. Can somebody reproduce this, or can somebody give any hints?
The company I work for has a floating license server, there are a few of us that have our own licenses. We want to use our own licenses so that others can use the floating ones. How do we stop FME automatically using one of our floating licenses? The only way we've found we can use our own licenses is when all the floating ones are being used.
When trying to connect to FME Server through workbench, I get Unable to update access token for 'connection name'. I generated a new token, that is valid until 2020, but I don't know how to tell the client to use the token.
Fmeserver uses longer time for the first request. If a workspace is run several times it takes less than a second, but the first request is slow. It can take more than 5 secods to creating the reader:2018-4-8 16:07:39 | MULTI_READER(MULTI_READER): Adding MSSQL_SPATIAL Reader with keyword MSSQL_SPATIAL_12018-4-8 16:07:39 | Using Multi Reader with keyword `MULTI_READER' to read multiple datasets2018-4-8 16:07:44 | Creating reader for format: Microsoft SQL Server Spatial
I can't seem to activate the floating license, any help would be appreciated.
I went through an express install on and Amazon EC2 instance, upgrading it from FME Server 2016 (and cunningly skipping 2017). Everything went smoothly until I went to startServer and it complained about [ec2-user@ip-10-140-151-106 fmeserver]$ Mar 21, 2018 9:00:05 PM org.postgresql.Driver connectSEVERE: Connection error: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: Connection to localhost:7082 refused. Check that the hostname and port are correct and that the postmaster is accepting TCP/IP connections. This looks like a problem with the default FME Server database, but I don't know enough about postgres config or Red Hat to know what to do to appease it. I got as far as opening port 7082 on the instance through the AWS/EC2 control panel and when that made me cringe, I determined I no longer know what I am doing and need help. If you can, please help! -Fuad
Hi,Almost overnight, the help dialog prompted by the help buttons on the transformer settings dialogs stopped working.I was using 2017.1 x64 (build 17650), but it fails in every version installed, both 32 and 64 bit.The only change from earlier is that I've recently installed 2018.0 on the machine. The help dialog opens, but it never gets any content. If I paste an url into the help dialog address bar, it works however. So it looks like it's the initiation command to the help dialog that's failing. The "Documentation Help Locations" in the "FME Options" seem to be in order.Any insights on how to remedy this is appreciated.
I am trying to submit a csv to a workspace in the cloud using javascript API~below is the call to submit the job to the workspace.FMEServer.submitSyncJob(repository,workspace,params,showResults) The data gets uploaded but the workspace fails with this message:CSV reader: Failed to open file 'C:\\fakepath\\1801116-012618RF(TGS_Export_v2).csv' for reading. Please ensure that the file exists and you have sufficient privileges to read it.Is this a permissions issue, the csv is uploaded to the server so I am wondering why the file is not available for processing also the log file appears to show that the workspace continues but does not produce a result.
I installed FME 2018 64 bit on my machine that have already FME 2017 32 bit. I have also ArcGIS 10.4.1 32 bits on my machine. Finally, 32 bits Oracle client is installed. Right now FME 32 bits version is working, I can create a reader and fetch data from it. I was asked to test FME 64 bit version and I cannot connect to the database. I have read the link included in the error:ArcSDE client library location could not be determined. Please ensure that FME and the installed ArcSDE client libraries are both 32 bit OR both 64 bit. Then refer to this article http://fme.ly/8q8 for more details. Please visit http://www.safe.com/support if the problem persistsIn the link, doesn't say where it take the 64 bits dll. It's writen to take them in the ArcGIS, i don't see how 64 bits dll version are included in the 32 bits version. I'm not sure what do to. Thanks
