Hi,

I have just installed an FME Server 2018.0.0.2 and I had problems to detect the engines. I did some researchs and I suspect that the queue hostname is the responsible. During the installation, I set it to "mypcname".

I saw in

https://docs.safe.com/fme/2018.0/html/FME_Server_Documentation/Content/AdminGuide/Install-the-FME-Servers-Failover.htm

that we should mention "localhost".

Is there a way to change this parameter after installing? I didn't find the file(s) where it is recorded...

Do you know where they are?

Thank you!

I've done exactly the same thing you describe (naming the queue with the real hostname) and it worked without a hitch in my case.

Are you sure that's the problem?
