I work for Avineon-Tensing, a GIS consultancy based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. What’s your current job role and title? GIS Consultant Tell us more about what you do and how you use FME? As a GIS consultant, the purpose of my FME usage can vary. I am currently using FME to improve the data quality of two databases that describe the same road network. First FME Breakfast of Champions User Meetup in the books!

Last Friday, we kicked off our FME Breakfast of Champions user meetup series in Dallas! Thanks to @bneal @danielwortham @laurenc @mshrestha @natalie.watkins @reedwhit and others for joining CEO @donatsafe, Technical Expert @dmitribagh, and Community Team Lead @danielleatsafe. Work Extension License: Has anyone received one?

Hi everyone, I know there are many users who are saddened by the removal of the Home Use licensing. To try and bridge some gaps, I’ve applied for a work extension license but haven’t received anything back. The request form mentions 10 days but it’s been well over that. So I’m wondering whether anyone has received a license via this method and how long did it take? Thanks.

Hey Safe, I’m planning to take the FME Certified Profesional exam and I wanted to know that what is the format of the exam and how many questiona are being asked. Also what kind of questiona do we get in the exam? Are they like the training program or different? Also I have read that the exam is open book. What exactly open book exam in this case means?

Where are you Lizard and Robot? I miss you!

Hi, Just a quick post to say that I’m sad that the Lizard and the robot are gone of the opening window for FME Form. I loved to see them in the roller coaster or in the balloon! Where are they? Are they dead? Hopefully they are travelling the world together and they will come back soon!

FME Flow certification self-study

Hi, I am training on FME Flow through self-study, utilizing the online course materials on FME Academy. I can see that only one chapter (Flow authoring) is currently structured like a course, with questions/answers and exercises. The others are linked to online articles, which is less user-friendly and convenient.Do you plan to do the whole FME Flow course “as a course”, just like the learning path for FME Form?
