What we'll cover
An automation that ran perfectly yesterday can break this morning, and the answer is rarely in the workspace itself. It's in a token that expired, an SMTP port that closed, a webhook that fired twice, or an IT policy that changed overnight. Whether the workflow is a scheduled feature service refresh, a webhook from a field-collection app, or an event-driven model run on FME Flow Hosted, the failure modes look the same once production starts.

Our presenters @carlw, @kate-safe, @desiree_at_safe & @markwatsafe are ready to dive in to:

  • Authentication
  • Automation best practices
  • Automation resilience and troubleshooting
  • And more!

Come ready with questions and leave with direct, candid answers. Drop your questions below by Monday, July 6, 2026.

See you there!

Excited to hear from the community! I know one thing I had friction with was knowing what's different between Form and Flow when it comes to authentication and authorization

I’m looking forward to hearing how everyone is using Automations and sees future use cases!   I remember when I first started with FME Flow, I couldn’t quite wrap my head around the Automations Writer, but it opened a ton of workflow possibilities when I finally understood how to use it

Hi everyone,

Thanks for hosting this topic! I am curious about advice for design principles to give team members that are looking to automate their workflows where they may be more familiar with Form but not Flow. I.e. one user knows their workflow and passes their workspace to a flow expert for automation. How can they best work together into he design stages ?

Also looping. Can we look at some cool looping scenarios?

Thanks!
