Sorry for that.What I'm trying to do is read a CSV file which contains X and Y fields and then after a few transformations write to an Esri Geodatabase (Postgresql with SDE).First I've set my reader as described in 1st Method here.Now at the end of my workbench I wonder what to do so that the ArcSde Geodb writer writes the Geometry point to an attribute named Shape (of type st_geometry) which is not in the csv ? Do I need to add this field in an AttributeManager ? If so what should the value be ? Thanks in advance. 

Hi, I'm trying to set up a workflow where I attach the intermediate result of a workspace to an Email as an Excel spreadsheet but I have troubles writing only one file. The Emailer documentation hints at using TempPathNameCreator and a FeatureWriter but I could not find any concrete examples on FME hub. When I run the translation every feature is written to a separate Excel file instead of a single one. I'm sure this can easily be done but I can't figure out how. Thanks for any help!

Hello fellows, I have the samples workbenches in the instance of a FME Server 2018. The earthquakesextrusion.fmw has the following advance configuration:If i trigger an execution of this workbench with wrong parameters i will get a Failure: When I check in the topic monitoring I don't see any change, despite the fact i am monitoring the JOBSUMMITER_ASYNC_JOB_FAILURE: 1. Am I misreading the configuration of the workbench, and the behavior is the one expected?2. Do I require to make some additional configuration in order to see the topic in the monitoring? Thanks for any help.

HI all, i am a bit lost and was hoping someone could help pint me in the right direction.I am currently using fme 2017.1 and i have been tasked with updating some ascii to gda 2020 from gda94. I note that within the coordinate system gallery there is a parameter for Geodetic Datum of Australia 2020, Latitude-Longitude; Degrees LL-gda2020_fmeis this the conformal or conformal + distortion transformation grids? i am a bit lost with this. I have copied the GDA94_GDA2020_conformal_and_distortion.gsb into my reporject>gridata>Australia folder but i cannot see it in my coordinate system gallery.I feel that this should be a failry basic process to get this to display but i am not sure what i am doing wrong.any help is very appeictive.

I'm using FME Server and I'm trying to switch some notifications over to an automations. In the old notifications system, the JSON object that you can pass into the published workspace parameter has the path of every attachment in the email. In the new automations systems, it looks like the "Email Attachment" variable only has a single attachment path passed (the first attachment in the email), instead of every attachment path. Is there a way to pass all the attachment paths into the workspace input parameter using automations? Thanks

I want to perform a Regex search in a string and I want to pass the regex pattern via a feature attribute. However, when I pass the regex pattern in the attribute and select it in the StringSearcher in the field "Contains Regular Expression", I get no match. When I enter the pattern manually in this field, the matching works.How can I pass a regex pattern via an attribute?

I am using serveral AttributeValidator Transformers in FME Desktop 2019.1.2 and noticed that one of them is removing a record. I have a total of 48,328 records that I am trying to validate. However, the total output of Passed + Failed ports adds up to 48,327. The 3 AttributeValidators that I used upstream passed all records thru. Screenshot of Workbench:AttributeValidator Settings: It appears that only the 4th AttributeValidator in the workbench does this. Is there a limit to the number of AttributeValidators that a single workbench can contain. I need to use multiple AttributeValidators as I have to perform 6 unique validation test. Has anyone seen this behavior? If so, what is the fix/work-around? Or is there better way to validate data without using the AttributeValidator?Thanks,Mark

I'm using the attribute creator to create a new attribute from the value of an existing and setting the value to another attribute. 19 features go in, but only 18 come out!This is in 2019.1.0.0 (Build 19608 WIN32) - same process works fine in 2018.1

Hello FME Community, I am currently translating IFC to CityGML using one of the tutorial workbenches (https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/1025/bim-to-gis-intermediate-ifc-lod-300-to-lod-4-cityg.html). This is working mostly fine.I want to import the model in 3D CityDB using the Importer/Exporter tool. It needs to be georeferenced, so I can later export it to KML and COLLADA. My question is: How can i add the correct coordinates and coordinate system (UTM32) to the resulting CityGML model) Thanks in advance and best regardsTobias

I created a Custom Transformer and submitted to hub.safe.com - to try the functionality. It is really easy to upload custom transformer and I recommend you to do it. However I wonder what happens when someone gives a comment on a transformer. Do you get notified by e-mail? Hi, As a non-expert in remote sensing, I would like to calculate the NDVI index from a CIR aerial photograph.I came across this promising custom transformer on the hub ( NDVICalculator - @dmitribagh ) , but I always get this error message:_RasterExpressionEvaluator_4 (RasterEvaluationFactory): Input 'B' is referenced in the expression list, but no 'B' feature was providedI (think I) have an infrared and red band entering the transformer, and I also get a preview of the output of the transformer, but I can't write the result as the translation stops with the fatal error above ... What could I do wrong (as a FME newbie...)? My workbench with a sample of the aerial photograph attached Any help much appreciated!  

Hi, I have a Aggregator feeding into two MSWordStyler's (header and footer). I have another MSWordStyler with content type table which is fed by same input source as the aggregator. All three MSWordstylers feed into MSwordWriter. I'm using a fanout expression. All of these are giving me one word document per customer with the correct header and correct footer and a table with transactions for that customer. Which is great.Even the Document name has the supplier number in it.HOWEVER, the table is at the top of the word document then the header and footer. How can I get these to feed into the word writer in correct order.From forum posts, they recommend creating stylers in correct order in the first place but this did not work for me. They also recommend using the WordGenerator but I can only get one single word document from that and all transactions for every customer are included in the same table i.e. it does differentiate between customers within the word document or allow
