I have a workbench which builds FME date time attributes and writes them to ESRI FGDB Classes. So, for 20191009115225 I get 09/10/2019 11:52:25 however if the time is midnight the fme date is 20191009000000 and the FGDB field contains 09/10/2019. How do I get this field to retain the 00:00:00 values?

Hi, I have: 1. A .dwg file of a single 1 ground surface model that i read in.2. I use GeometryPartExtractor to extract IFMEMesh and IFMEFaces so I get a trianglor network of the model.3. I then I use GeometryCoherer to get FME_polygon How do I get the slope (and possibly aspect) for each individual face? I tried SurfaceModeller and it is not working for me since it is creating extra triangles that I do not want. I have created a custom tool that calulates FME color based on all incoming attributes, ex a test where I add a step 4 where I use surfaceModeller to create the surface again just to get the slope value then I use a DWGStyler to set the surface color to my calculated color and that works fine. My problem is that I do not like the surface modeller since I already have my model and the extracted version as it is, and NOW I want to get the slope for each individual Face or Mesh, set the color for each triangle and possible use the aggregator and write to a dwg file again. I have n

Hi has anyone been able to read an SDE Terrain dataset.I would like to read this so I can obtain the z values, for specified x,y coordinates. 

I'm using the HTTPCaller to upload (POST) a file as well as some additional data. This is relatively simple when the file to be uploaded is sitting on the file system somewhere. Simply set the HTTPCaller Upload Data type to "Multipart / Form Data" and set the multi-part content for the file portion to point to the file on the file system.However, my file content (not the path to a file) is already in an attribute on the feature. Does anyone know if I can get the HTTPCaller to upload a file in this way?Nic

Hello, I have a workbench I'm having a difficult time with. As you can see in the image below, I have a shapefile being joined with a table from another database. I have confirmed with data inspector that before the join it has 524 Features, but after the join, even when I do a full join (the one pictured is an inner join). it only returns around half of the geographic features. I was wondering if anyone had any tips, or if I'm missing a Transformer I should be using?

However I am getting the following error message: SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OKII was able to get the geoJSON when I copied the API URL directly into the IE browser. Hi there,I'd like to know how I can detect scenarios where polyline features cross each other without the presence of any vertices. See my awful paint work as example:So in this scenario, both the red and blue line has no vertices where they cross. These kinds of situations, as well as one where just one or the other has no vertex, is what I'm trying to identify. Meaning, in all cases in my data, both edges need to each have a vertex wherever lines cross. Thank you in advance!

Hello,I could use some help with accessing custom IFC properties (and their values) in the FME workbench (version 2018.1.0.0). I am working on a transformation from an IFC file to PostGIS. The IFC file contains custom properties for some classes (e.g. IfcBuilding and IfcSpace). I can see those custom properties and their values when I inspect the IFC file with an IFC viewer. I can also see the values of the custom properties when I open the IFC file in the FME Data Inspector when I set the "Data Model" parameter of the reader to "Hierarchical". Only in that case I can't tell which IFC class instance the value belongs to.  From reading related question and answers I have understood that in order to expose custom IFC properties I would need to add a Attribute Exposer transformer. I tried several settings for the IFC reader parameters, and I have tried specifying additional attributes in the AttributesExposer, in the format <name of the IFC property set>.&lt

Hi all, I am trying to calculate the surface area of different LULC classes. I have to do this for very many different polygon areas, using the Rastertopolygoncoercer takes too much time, so I do this by counting the pixels of specific values, and then calculating the surface area based on the pixel size of my raster. Ordinarily I would do this with the ArcGIS Zonal Statistics function for rasters with the "count" functionality and be done with it. This does not seem to exist in FME, the RasterStatisticsCalculator misses this feature (and only that feature, strangely). So what I do instead is per class, replacing the cell values with 1 (and all others 0), and then calculating the "SUM" with FME's RasterStatisticsCalculator. It gives me the result I want (in a cumbersome roundabout way) but then, I want to save the attribute table separately from the raster. Hello FME community,I have points CSV file (POI). Each point includes Category, Name and Homepage attributes as shown in following screenshot: The problem is that, for each Category of points within specific distance I need to create one point in center (center of group) and append the information of original points. The result should be similar to the following screenshot to display it on a website: My idea is to Buffer the points with required distance, followed by Dissolver (Group By: Category) and CenterPointReplacer.I am stuck on exactly how I would append all information of original points to the new created point to achieve the desired result. Hi, We have a workspace that runs fine on our FME Server testing environment yet crashes on our user acceptance environment. It crashes on version incompatibility, like described in the article at https://knowledge.safe.com/articles/363/workspace-fails-on-fme-server-fme-version-incompat.html. Granted, we use FME Server build 17650/win64/2017.1.1.0 and FME Desktop build 17652/win64/2017.1.1.1. that would be a cause for not running a workspace due to compatibility issues.However, this baffles me: FME Server version is the same, workspace is the same, what else could cause this behaviour? I narrowed it down to the workspace below, which is basically a SpatialRelator comparing two box-like area's. Our testing environment runs it just fine, and concludes in the log:2019-10-09 12:23:30|   0.3|  0.0|INFORM|Loaded module 'SpatialRelationshipFactory' from file 'D:\Prog\FME\FMEServer\Server\fme\plugins/SpatialRelationshipFactory.dll'2019-10-09 12:23:30|   0.3|  0.0|INFORM|FME API version of modu

My agency flew high resolution drone aerial imagery and need to blur certain areas of the image, for example certain members of the public have asked that their backyards be blurred for privacy reasons. My rasters are very large GeoTiffs.If it were only a few locations I would simply use GIMP/photoshop, however its looking to be a significant number of locations that need to be blurred. I have created polygon features around the regions that are to be blurred, I am assuming that FME can blur the raster areas contained within the polygons without me having to clip those areas out, blur them, and then mosaic them back over the original image? Clipping & re-mosaicing would take a long time since the images I'm working with are >100GB.Searching the documentation references to the RasterConvolver however I don't see how I can apply that only to the areas within the polygons.Is there a good method to achieve my goals with FME or should I stick to GIMP/Photoshop??

I am trying to read some Ordnance Survey data (Vector Map District) in SHP format, this is delivered as a separate ZIP file for every tile, for example; SH, SJ & SN. Each file contains a number of feature types that 'should' be the same but, for example, if there are no 'glasshouses' in the SN area then that feature type will not be included in the SN file. A secondary issue is that whilst each zip file contains similar feature types they are named uniquely, for example, the Buildings feature type will be named SH_Buildings, SJ_Buildings and SN_Buildings respectively.Whilst the feature types are unlikely to change very often I would prefer to create a dynamic workspace that can handle changes should they occur.My initial attempt has been to use the Merge Feature Type option in the reader to bring all the feature types into a single type.
