I think I have the easiest question ever but I've wasted too much time on it and it just won't work.

I just want to create a new attribute for each record with the result of the sum of 3 other values. The result of nieuw + renovatie + stroomopwaarts. It looks very easy but i have already tried everything and nothing works.

What am I missing?

Attributecreator and use the ARITHMETIC EDITOR and add the expression.

When creating the new attribute, make sure to use the arithmetic editor:

Then double-click on each attribute to insert it into the formula:

If ever you needed a paperclip to pop up and say 'it looks like you're writing a formula, do you want to use the arithmetic editor?' this is it!

I thought I'd suggested an idea about warning if using math operators in the text editors but I can't find it right now.
