Hi,I want to convert 1000 jpeg files to pdf format. I have almost managed to finish the script but the one thing that i smissing is that the PDFpageformatter that I am using cannot be adjusted for each jpeg picture. What I am trying to say here is that i want the pdf to be the same extent as the jpg file without doing this manually (since I need to convert 1000 files).Heres a picture of my script in FME

Hi there,I want to convert an attribute so it always has four digits, and two decimal places. As an example, if I have . 6.5 as the source, I want the output as 06.50.I've used the expression 04.2f in a string formatter, but this doesn't seem to be working for all of my attributesAs an example if my source attribute is 50.7, it recognizes the format and the output is 50.70. But if I have an attribute with one single digit before the decimal place like 7.28 the output is still 7.28 and not 07.28Let me know if you can help.-Reid

I need to compare attribute "Ownerstag" from block "M" to attribute "Location" from block "CR" and if they are the same then I need to write values from attribute M (column J) from block "M" in attribute "Location" from block "CR". Hi, I attempted to use SchemaMapper for the migration of data. In general successful, however, in the Mapping Excelsheet I defined a rule to add an attribute, which uses a string function in the "NewValue" column. I can use the functions @Timestamp and @Value, however, the functions @ReplaceString or @ReplaceRegEx fail, and FME (2017.1 build 17652) is complaining "This FME edition does not recognize the `ReplaceRegEx' function." Is there a list of functions available that are recognized by SchemaMapper? The functions work fine from e.g. AttributeCreator.

Hello,I used FME Workbench 2017 to generate an IfcSpaces from shape file with footprint polygon and height information. I managed to create space geometry but I could not create longitude and latitude for IfcSite. These values were empty ($). Is there a way to fill theses values with FME Workbench 2009 ? Knowing that today I use a not very powerful method which consist in replacing the text of the end line of IfcSite definition : .ELEMENT.,$,$,$,$,$) by another one with right values : .ELEMENT.,(42,45,2,206849),(0,-25,-12,-380875),0.,$,$) Or perhaps is there a way to write ifc_object_placement for IfcSite which could be another solution to have correct placement ?? Thank you in advance for your help Best regards Bruno

List contains several objects and I want to generate id for every object as one of the attribute of the same object.I also want to set an attribute called solution as a boolean true or false. Hello, let's say that I have 2 queues:  DefaultTest each of them has priority set to 5.  And I have 2 engines, each one has both queues assigned. Both engines are in use at the moment. In which order new jobs will be taken? I was wondering if there was further documentation on the FME server database. I'm looking to create a REST service from the database that we can use in conjunction with Operations Dashboard to show statistics about FME server in real-time (specifically things such as last time a job was ran, the status of the job, errors from the job (if any), run time, etc). Currently I'm harvesting data nightly to get a summary of the performance over the day, but it would be nice to be able to create a rest service that would show all the data together without having to heavily use an FME engine to push data to ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal) or ArcGIS Online.

I have an Excel file which has the header on the 3rd row. The first and second rows have additional information. My actual data values start from row 4. Is there any way in FME to remove the first two rows and use the 3rd row for attribute names? I have attached my example file.Thanks in advance.

Not so much a question as bringing together a few things...I'm using a Workspace Runner to call a Workspace which writes to an ESRI File Geodatabase (FGDB). In testing, I had the FGDB Feature Class open in ArcCatalog which caused the translation to fail because the target was locked. Also, the Workspace Runner was reporting success, even though the Workspace it was calling failed.There are two things here. Firstly, "Wait for job to complete" was set to "No" which meant that the Workspace Runner would report a success even if the Workspace it called failed. "No" enables you to run concurrent Workspaces which is something I did not want to do because I need to process a series of input datasets in order, not in parallel. Hello, I make a Workspace to import CAD Data in Oracle Spatial.  In my CAD file, i have some layer with accented character like 3.1 MP - A désaffecter.  When FME read Autocad Writer i have the error : "ACAD reader: The encoded string is not a valid fme-wwjd string: '3.1 MP - A d\\xC3\\xA9saffecter'"  In other workspace, I met same problem with parameters which contains accented character or with excel files with accented character.  Can you help me? With FME 2018, i hadn't this problem.  Thanks  Bernard Dinon

I have an input table that looks like this(input table):Important here is that this table can change in terms of number of rows and names. So the next time the model runs it could have 5 points or 10 or 1, with random names. Names are never duplicated. Based on the input table my fme model then creates an output table as this(table2):I want to create a new table based on the same parameters, with a schema like this(table3): So each row in table3 is a unique date form "DateProcessed" and each value from the coulumn "Name" from input table will get an own column in table3, containing the corresponding DistanceToIce value. The tricky part here is that I want this to happen dynamicly, so that the number of columns that will be created in table3, and their names will follow the input table.  The data will never get large, maximum 10-20 points/names and 14 dates. So recreating Table3 from scratch each time the model runs would be fine. Have read a couple of other answers

Hello all,I have a TestFilter that directs my input data into multiple branches for further transformation and I have dozens of test conditions within this TestFilter, similar to below:If Test condition @Value(field1) = A to Output port 'Road'Else If Test condition @Value(field1) = B to Output port 'River'Else If Test condition @Value(field1) = C to Output port 'School'etc, etc..... Is there a way i can then use these port values to replace the original input attribute value for this field? For example: Replace all attribute values of 'A' with 'Road'Replace all attribute values of 'B' with 'River'etc, etcI'm trying to find a way of avoiding having to create dozens of repetitive transformers after each port to make this attribute value change and hoping to reuse the effort made thus far with in creating the existing TestFilterDoes anyone know if this is achievable?TIA,R

Hi,I have updated my FME Desktop 2018.1 to FME 2019.0 and my workflow writing excel files based on a template file stop working. I was able to go around missing conditional formatting with few ExcelStylers. However, I am still missing the print layout which I have defined in the template. All required formatting stays in the template sheet, but is not distributed to the sheets written by FME. What have 2019 version changed and how can I use my template file again?
